BLANCHE Hunt was laid to rest in Coronation Street and she will be sorely missed. The script writers fine tuned their skills perfectly for this character and her passing will leave an huge gap in Weatherfield.

SO Katie Price has landed a role in Benidorm. She will join the fourth series of the ITV1 show.
ITV may think the sun shines out of Katie's pert backside (how else would they explain repeatedly subjecting us to her ITV2 dross), but I always thought Benidorm was above Footballers' Wives tacky tactics.
Benidorm has been one of the best comedies on the box for years (even BAFTA agree) with it's trashy brand of humour. And while Jordan in a bikini may pull in viewers, it amazingly cheapens Benidorm.
