A huge thank-you to Adrian Johnson, of the Kalamazoo Gazette, for her “Self-Publishing Spotlight.” This regular feature serves to draw attention to recent, self-published works of local authors. It’s this seemingly simple thing that self-published authors find to be a huge hurdle; so Adrian Johnson is providing an invaluable service to many local writers.

It was created last summer and shown between films at a Mr. Spookity Horrorfest here in Grand Rapids. This is all thanks entirely to his generosity and talent.

The promo includes some artwork that I ended up not including in the book, to keep the price down. I didn’t want to charge somewhere between $12 and $15 for the book just because I felt the need to include pictures. Especially when the simple act of not including illustrations drops the price down to $6.95.

I’ll always be totally jazzed that a promotional video for a book of mine was made by the same cat who gave us Ta-Ta’s Last Stand, Too Dead to Die, and a lot of great animated shorts. And as an added bonus: Jason also voice Father Sideways. I mean, how freaking cool is that!
