Hello, It’s Been a While - Let Me Share Where I have Been

Hello everyone,

Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been quiet on my blog for a while. Since last August, I haven’t been posting regularly, and I feel it’s important to share a little about this pause.

Life doesn’t always move at the same pace. Sometimes, even when we love what we do, we need to slow down, breathe, and give ourselves space to rest. Over the past few months, I chose to step back to recharge, reflect, and take better care of myself—both mentally and emotionally. It wasn’t a decision we made lightly, but it was necessary.

This break wasn’t because I lost interest in blogging or sharing on social media. Even during this quiet time, life was still happening—I explored new places, tried different foods, attended events, and joined meaningful workshops. While some of these moments have already passed, the feelings and memories are still fresh, and I’m excited to share them with you slowly.

I hope you’ll continue to enjoy reading my posts, even when I write about past experiences. To me, a compelling story doesn’t expire. What matters most is the honesty behind it and the feelings it carries. Every post I share comes from my real experiences and personal reflections.

Now, I feel ready to begin again—not in a rush and not under pressure, but with renewed energy and a clearer mindset. I’ll return to posting and sharing at my pace, and I hope you’ll continue this journey with me.

As I step back into this space, I look forward to creating more meaningful memories, discovering new experiences, and sharing them with all of you. Here’s to a fresh start, at my pace and with a grateful heart.

Throwback to MILO Run 2025: My Fun Run Experience

Throwback! I'm just sharing my brief experience and photos from the MILO Run 2025 last year. My good friends and I are excited to participate because it is our final participation in 2019, and it happened due to the Covid 19 Era. So we did not participate for a few years at that point. It is one of the largest MILO-organized running events in Malaysia.

Some of you may know that my good friend and I enjoy taking part in marathons that bring people together, and the MILO Run 2025 was no exception. Even though the event has passed, I wanted to share my thoughts and highlights because it was truly inspiring - and who knows, maybe it will help you prepare for the next run!

The moment I stepped into the event, my spirits instantly lifted. I realized that the run is more than a race, it is a celebration of fitness, community, and healthy living. People of all ages attend, from enthusiastic students and serious runners to families with young children, resulting in a lively and supportive environment. Along with the main fun run, participants could take part in a variety of activities, including fitness challenges and warm-up sessions, as well as games and interactive booths. The finish line was always greeted with cheers, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment, making each participant feel proud and valued.

What I loved most was exploring the beauty and uniqueness of Putrajaya while participating in the run. Beyond the physical activity, the run promotes social connections, encourages teamwork, and inspires everyone to live a more active lifestyle - all while having a fun and memorable day. As always, the MILO medal stood out with its unique design, a perfect memento from the run. It was especially heartwarming to see that everything has returned to normal after the challenges of the COVID-19 era, allowing communities to come together again for moments like this.

For 2025, the MILO Run was held in several cities, including Putrajaya, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, and Penang, providing runners with numerous possibilities to participate. Each location featured 3 km fun runs, energetic crowds, and a festive atmosphere that brought out the excitement in everyone from first-timers to seasoned runners. I loved seeing families run together, kids cheering each other on, and the positive energy of the volunteers and organizers - it truly felt like a community celebration.

If you’re thinking about joining in the future, here are a few tips from my experience:

Arrive early: The warm-up and pre-run activities are a lot of fun, and it gives you time to soak in the atmosphere.
Bring water & snacks: Hydration is key, and there are often light refreshments at the finish.
Capture the moments: Photos of the route, the crowd, and your medal make great memories.
Enjoy the experience: Don’t stress about pace; this run is all about participation, fun, and community spirit.

Even though the MILO Run 2025 has ended, the memories and lessons stay fresh. It reminded me how important it is to take part in activities that bring people together, keep us active, and inspire joy. I can’t wait to see what MILO Run 2026 will bring, and I hope to run again. Awww… I was thrilled when I heard that Domino's Malaysia had recently launched a new menu food, and it was completely unexpected: Mac & Cheesy Pizza! So my brother and I were excited to try and taste it at one of the Domino Pizza Malaysia outlets last Friday.

Have you ever thought that pasta could be pizza? Yes, you read it correctly. To be honest, I never imagined that turning pasta into pizza would be such a creative idea. First and foremost, we are always curious about the taste. As far as I know, many of us enjoy eating the paste. Imagine that your favorite macaroni and cheese pasta is now baked directly on top of a pizza crust. As someone who enjoys both pizza and pasta, I had to give it a try and provide my honest review.

Domino’s Malaysia’s newest menu item transforms creamy pasta into a pizza experience. It is loaded with macaroni, cheese sauce, and toppings baked on the standard Domino's crust. The combination is rich, cheesy, and slightly indulgent, which is the ideal comfort food!

There are three flavors to choose from:

Original—the classic mac & cheese
Mushroom – for creamy mushroom lovers
Spicy Beef—with a Malaysian spicy kick!

First of all, I was surprised when I tasted Original Pasta Pizza because it was simply a melted pizza with a lot of cheesy flavor. The gooey mozzarella melts perfectly with the soft pasta base. I won't know if it's pasta or cheese pizza. Totally unique! That is why having both pasta and cheesy pizza is the best combination. It will be more flavorful when the seaweed flakes add a subtle umami flavor that is savory but not overpowering. A perfect choice for cheese and pasta lovers!

Another Pasta Pizza with Mushrooms. This one is ideal for mushroom lovers! It is loaded with stringy mozzarella and flavorful mushrooms, giving each bite a rich, earthy aroma. The cheese melts beautifully into the pasta base, and the mushrooms add a rich, savory flavor that is both comforting and nourishing. It's a must-try if you're looking for something less spicy but still delicious.

Finally, I tried the Spicy Beef Pasta Pizza, despite not being a fan of beef. However, it gives me the best impression; the spicy beef pizza is better than I expected. The tender has a mild aroma, so I won't notice any odor. If you enjoy spicy food, this is for you! The Spicy Beef Pasta Pizza is generously topped with melty mozzarella and tangy pickled red chillies, giving each bite a bold and satisfying heat. The spicy beef adds a rich flavor that complements the creaminess of the cheese and the zing of the chilies. A fiery twist that you don't want to miss!

The Special Screening: A Mother’s Touch (2024) by RC Missions Malaysia, RCDM At MAHSA International College, Petaling Jaya

I am excited to watch a charity screening titled "A Mother's Touch" in honour of Mother's Day, which will take place on May 3, 2025, at Mahsa Avenue International College. My good friend and I are pleased to be part of this event, which is organised by RC Missions Malaysia. Although I watched it twice, the movie is truly moving and touching. Absolutely, I will not deny that I am delighted to see some friends whom I have not seen in many years.

Based on a true story, this film describes the journey of a blind person and his family's unconditional support and love for him. When his life became dark, especially when he lost his sight and hearing, he faced obstacles, but he overcame them with the help of his family and love. His mother would be by his side even if his situation worsened.

Beside that, they have a special Interview with Deafblind people, Kok Kei and Jason Kong shared their real-life experiences. It truly opened our eyes and captured our attention. In fact, it is a lack of awareness about the Deafblind Community because it is extremely rare in reality. Anyway, A Mother's Touch story is very similar to their real stories, but there is a slight difference.

It is an honour to have Mr. Yuki Takafumi, the producer of A Mother's Touch. Dato Kamil Othman, Advisor of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia, and Mr. Tsukamoto Norihisa, Director of The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur, are among those in attendance at this event. It is even more interesting to learn about their different perspectives and experiences with the movie that inspired them.

The movie has a meaningful story message for everyone, regardless of who they are. At the very least, we should be grateful and thankful for living in such a beautiful world. Just cherish our moments to the fullest and make each day beautiful and shining. Not only that, but we must value our time spent with our family to strengthen our bonds. Overall, this film is excellent and has a good moral story. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, which aims to raise public awareness about Deafblind individuals and the the Deaf community.

Lastly, we have the opportunity to take photos with Mr Yuki Takafumi, Dato Kamil Othman, and Mr Tsukamoto Norihisa, as well as Deafblind people Kok Kei and Jason Kong. Thank you to RC Deaf Missions Malaysia for hosting this charitable screening event. It is the most meaningful event I have ever attended.

Unforgettable KART Racing Experience with Deaf Friends at LYL International Circuit in Cheras, Malaysia

Last weekend, my good friends and I joined the group that organised this and went karting at LYL International Circuit, located at Monkeys Canopy Resort in Sungai Long, Cheras, Selangor, which is quite far from my house. It is known for its dinosaur theme park and Malaysia's first esports virtual reality arena. It takes just one hour to get there. We were stuck in heavy traffic during that time, which caused our arrival time to be delayed. It's nice to see some friends we haven't seen in a long time. To be honest, this is my first visit here, and I've been wanting to go karting for a long time.

LYL International Circuit is the largest go-kart circuit with a long track in Asia. It is also known as LYL Circuit. For those seeking an exciting adventure, whether you are a beginner or an experienced racer, this is the best and most perfect spot to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Anyway, we were exhausted and starving. Yes, we found a restaurant called CraftyGang Bistro & Bar for our supper. When we walked into this restaurant, the atmosphere made me feel warm, and the vibe was quite appealing and cosy. Not only that, but my friends and I were pleased with their friendly service, which made us feel at ease whenever we needed.

They serve the majority of the yakitori menu, which includes chicken, pork, bacon, beef, and vegetables. Furthermore, they serve other menu items such as fish, seafood, rice bowl, menu sets, family sets, snacks, sides, and desserts. Overall, the food is quite delicious and even better than we expected. Absolutely, they have a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages. If you enjoy drinking it, you can order it. Unless you can drink non-alcoholic beverages, which they also offer.

Overall, I had a wonderful and thrilling karting experience and enjoyed the delectable foods and beverages in the relaxing atmosphere and colourful vibes. MUMU Movie Review 2025 @ TGV Cinema Malaysia

Recently, my family and I went to watch a touching story, MuMu movie. The movie is quite good. I cried and became more moved. Curious about the plot and the ending?

MuMu, a 7-year-old hearing girl, lives with her Deaf father, Xiao Ma, in the silent and deaf world. She was delighted to live with him, despite her father's difficult life due to his disability, which does not stop him from providing his genuine love and care for her beloved daughter during MuMu's childhood. Furthermore, she enjoys communicating with her father and her father's friend through the beauty of Sign Language, and she acts as an interpreter for her father whenever he needs her help.

However, Mumu's mother, Xiao Jing, unexpectedly returns and wishes to confront and fight Xiao Ma over MuMu's custody. Even she wishes to provide the best education and future for MuMu. To raise funds for the court case, Xiao Ma is tricked into committing a felony. With this decision, he was able to obtain thousands of dollars and an asset, allowing him to provide the best education and future for her beloved daughter, MuMu. Xiao Ma risked his life nightly in an insurance scam that involved faking dangerous car accidents.

It follows that he pleaded guilty to a felony to protect his daughter, but A Mei, who hired Xiao Ma, confessed to her lie, admitting that the company tricked Xiao Ma into committing a felony. MuMu realised the beauty of sign language as the primary means of communication between the deaf and decided to become an interpreter. She enjoys helping the deaf community ontheir journey through life and experiencing the beauty of Deaf culture and community. She expressed love beyond silence.

Overall, this film is based on a fictional story, but the reality of the deaf community has been difficult and similar in terms of overcoming obstacles such as being ignored & isolated and communication barriers in society. During my life, I have also encountered a situation similar to this. I hope this story raises awareness about the significance of Sign Language, Deaf Culture, and Community.

Not only that, there is a lack of interpreters for Deaf Community in real life. Hope it can encourage more people and the public to learn a basic Sign Language to communicate with Deaf People. Certainly they will be grateful, happy, and smile when they see all of you communicate with them through Sign Language.

Brewing Art For Good: The Bearista Project @ Starbucks Malaysia

My brother and I were thrilled to see Starbucks Malaysia celebrate the Grand Finale of the initiative, Brewing Art For Good: The Bearista Project, which is a successful program, and they are proud to have collaborated with a variety of creative and talented artists who each have their own unique story and art. Every Bearista has its own distinct art and story. The event occurred on February 22, 2024 at Pavillion Bukit Jalil.

Absolutely, I am delighted to see my teacher, who is the Interpreter for this event, and it is wonderful to see a few Deaf friends as well. Without a doubt, we are proud to see the Deaf team perform their Deafbeat performance on stage.

Kick off by enjoying a DeafBeat performance, learning basic Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM), and indulging and smelling and tasting the aromas of coffee and cookies.. It's great to see that they indirectly raise awareness about Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia, and hopefully, it will encourage more people to learn BIM. For example, the audience learns how to sign some basics about Starbucks, Bearista, Coffee, and Thank You.

It is more than just a celebration; they are pleased to announce that they have received RM500,000 in contributions. RM250,000 will be distributed to all artists and RM250,000 to MERCY Malaysia's Palestine Relief Fund, respectively. They also made it into the Malaysian Book of Records! Aside from that, I'm pleased to see two Deaf artists, Lim Anuar and Deudney Anak Richard proudly displaying their stunning Bearista artwork. Congratulations to all the artists who collaborated with Starbucks Malaysia to create this meaningful campaign. It proved what Deaf people can do! Overall, it encourages us to take positive action and make a difference.

This event is quite appealing because it intrigued many people to see the 25 life-size Bearistas in one place. Overall, we were amazed to see and explore 25 life-sized Bearistas. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore around. Aside from that, many people enjoy participating in exciting games and winning prizes, as well as making purchases at the merchandise booth with good discounts and sales. The interesting thing is that they can customize at the Personalisation Booth as well. Anyway, this event is over because it took place from February 22 to 24, 2025.

Please do not be disappointed if you miss this opportunity. So my good friend, Selina, and I are excited to explore Malaysian cuisine, which is full of flavours and aromas, and to indulge in a delightful and diverse range of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Peranakan culinary dishes in the authentic and classic Malaysian vibrant Cuisine style and culture. Thank you, Selina, my good friend invited me to this Ramadan feast last Friday. This is my first time dining at this hotel, Silka Cheras.

Once my good friend and I entered this restaurant, the atmosphere was cozy, and we felt comfortable to enjoy our dinner there. Wow! There are a variety of dishes that await us. It tempts us with the delightful and delectable meals served at the table. Silka Cheras offers a buffet-style menu with a variety of hot and cold appetisers, main courses, and desserts served on the buffet counter, including Lok Lok, Nasi Putih, Nasi Briyani, Nasi Goreng Yang Zhou, Mee Goreng, Daging Masak Hitam, Kupang Sambal, Kari Kambing, Kari Ayam, Kari Ayam Rendang, Ayam Goreng Berempah, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Satay, Ketupat, Bubur Lambuk, Kerabu Campur, Kerabu Daging, Kerabu Mangga, Sup Ayam Tomyam, Asam Laksa, Rojak Buah-Buahan, Cendol, Crispy Cucur, Assorted Malay Kuih, Biscuit Raya, and many more. Since it is buffet style, my good friend and I can take as much food as we want from the counter. This means we can eat as many as we want!

The service was particularly good because the waiter made sure that every table was clean at all times, which is why we were satisfied with their service. Overall, my good friend and I had a delightful dinner in the cosy atmosphere. All of the meals are very delicious and tasty. Thank you, Silka Cheras, for brightening our day with an amazing dining experience.

My family and I recently enjoyed the amazing London Musical Show presented by Great British Circus at Desa Park City, Plaza Arkadia. When I was a kid, I used to watch it on television, and I recall my parents taking me and my siblings there before, but it is extremely rare to have the opportunity to explore the circus circuit. When I see this kind of performance, it brings back certain memorable memories. It is a great opportunity to see a circus performance in person.

Mental Illness Workshop @ RC Deaf Missions Malaysia

This time, my good friend and I had the opportunity to attend the "Mental Illness" workshop hosted by RC Deaf Missions Malaysia on September 29, 2024. It is an honor to welcome the speaker, Vishnu Priya Ravi Chandran, a Counselling Psychologist. She discussed the symptoms of mental illness and where to seek assistance. We don't realize if some of us have unexpected mental illness symptoms. As a result, it is essential to gain a better understanding of mental illness so that we can assist our family members or friends who have suffered from it. So this workshop is a serious topic to focus on because many cases of depression, anxiety, and other issues have occurred around us. If not managed properly, it has the potential to lead to commit suicide.

Mental illnesses are health conditions in which a person experiences changes in emotion, thinking, or behaviour, or a combination of these conditions. As a result, it may indicate that someone is distressed and/or having difficulty functioning in social, professional, or family activities. If you notice the health condition, it indicates that this person suffers from a mental illness and should seek help before the illness worsens.

She explained that there are four different categories in the continuum model of mental health, as shown below.

Optimal health and well-being without symptoms of mental illness. For example, if a person does not have a diagnosed mental illness, they have good mental health and well-being.

Optimal health and well-being with symptoms of mental illness. For example, consider a person who has been diagnosed with a mental illness but can manage it through therapy, medication, or mindfulness. As a result, this person's mental health improves as he or she adheres to the doctor's instructions and takes medication on time.

Poor mental health and well-being with no signs of mental illness. For example, a person may not have a diagnosed mental illness but is coping poorly and has had negative experiences with their mental health and well-being.

Poor mental health and well-being with symptoms of a mental illness. For example, if a person is diagnosed with depression and begins a new medication, they may continue to experience sadness, low energy, and difficulty sleeping while waiting for the medication to take effect. It is serious mental illness.

Three factors affect mental health: biological, psychological, and social. Each of these factors has a different cause that can have a significant impact on mental health. You can refer to the slide in the photo I took below.

Thus, it is essential to understand how to detect and prevent mental illnesses. We faced stress and challenges daily. So, we need to know how to cope with our daily lives and just have good habits. For example, if a person has a problem with bad habits and it can lead to a serious mental health illness, such as a person who frequently gambles and drinks alcohol and is in debt, it can lead him/her to commit suicide due to financial issues.

Anyway, if you have a friend or family member starts to have a warning of mental illness, you should give them support and become a listener. Even if the situation is getting worse, it should be recommended to seek counselors/psychologists.

Overall, there is much more to be discussed on this topic, but the workshop was brief, and we learned about the importance of understanding mental illness issues. It is a serious topic to focus on because some real-life incidents have occurred around us. Once again, thank you so much to the speaker, Vishnu Priya Ravi Chandran for this informative and beneficial workshop. I hope to see more related to this workshop in the future.

DeafBlind Workshop by Park Min Ho, Deaf Speaker From South Korea And Empowering Deaf Community In Kenya and Nigeria @ RC Deaf Missions Malaysia

Aww!! I attended a workshop titled "Advocate For DeafBlind Community" and "Inclusivity In Empowering Community Interpreters and The Deaf Communities In Kenya and Nigeria" on September 28, 2024. It is organized by RC Deaf Missions Malaysia (RCDM), which offers different workshop topics every weekend in September to commemorate International Sign Language Day. It is located at MAHSA Avenue, Kuala Lumpur. Anyway, I missed a few workshops in the previous few weekends due to a vacation and family obligations. However, this did not deter me from attending the last workshop, which was held on September 28, 2024. As a result, my good friend and I spent the entire day at the workshop.

It was a pleasure to welcome a Deaf Speaker from Korea, Park Min Ho, who is a Deafblind leader and Korean Sign Language Instructor in the morning. He shared his experiences, perspectives, and contributions to the Deafblind community in Korea. There is little awareness of the Deafblind community. That is why he shared it to raise awareness. It would be helpful to learn more about the Deafblind Community, as Malaysia lacks awareness due to the small percentage of Deafblind people. It is not comparable to Korea, which may have approximately 1000 deafblind people. However, Park Min Ho stated that the percentage of the Deafblind population in Korea cannot be confirmed or guaranteed.

Furthermore, he explains the distinction between Deaf-Blind and Blind-Deaf. As he stated, it is a significant difference. Normally, people assume that these are the same terms, but they are not. In addition, he stated that there are different schools for the Deaf, Blind, Mental, and Physical, but there is no school for the Deafblind in Korea. He shared his experience because he had a Deaf friend who later became blind. From that situation, he didn't know how to help his friend or those who were in the same situation at the time, so he started learning more about deafblind issues, as there is a lack of awareness about the deafblind community in Korea. There aren't many interpreters who are willing to assist and accompany deafblind people. Since then, he has realized that it is essential to learn about the deafblind community because they require more attention and assistance due to their difficult situation and challenges than the Deaf community.

Furthermore, he stated that there are two methods of communicating with deafblind people: Tentacle Sign Language and Tentacle Braille Language. He even showed a video about it during his PowerPoint presentation. According to him, when using Tentacle Sign Language, an interpreter would sign while holding hands because they still know how to use sign language. As we all know, braille is a printing system for the blind in which each letter is represented as a raised pattern that can be read by touching it with the fingers. The best example is using tentacle braille language to point at the back body of a deafblind person.

Even how to guide a Deafblind person through walking and communicating. He stated that an interpreter must commit their time and contribution to accompanying a deafblind person due to the heavy-duty and responsibility that comes with being present 24 hours a day. A Deafblind can't do anything because of their difficult situation in which they can't see and hear simultaneously. I believe many of us are aware of Helen Keller, a famous deafblind woman in history.

It is a very rare case of Deafbuild due to the small percentage of the Deafblind group; however, the purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness about the deafblind community, as there are several Deafblind who require assistance and companionship. Even there is a lack of interpreters who are willing to take on the heavy responsibility. Thus, this workshop has truly touched us, particularly a friend of mine, Jason who became deafblind and attended this workshop to learn more about the Deafblind community. Everyone was surprised and moved by his true story about how he unexpectedly became Deafblind.

However, he was delighted to see us and grateful to Calysta for being his BIM interpreter during the workshop. He gained a better understanding of the deafblind community. Overall, it is a very good exposure for us to learn more and raise awareness about the Deafblind community.

Even Jason is delighted to see me after a few years. The last time we met was before the COVID-19 era. My junior, Edward, and Jason introduced each other, and Jason talked about his experiences and life.

In the afternoon, three speakers, Aliyu Mai (Deaf Speaker), Bernard Oduor Otieno (Hearing Speaker), and Emmanuel Munyasi (Deaf Speaker), shared their experiences with empowering interpreters and encouraging Deaf people to contribute to the Deaf Community in their country.

Honestly, they faced difficult challenges due to a lack of interpreters and awareness about the Deaf community. Kenya and Nigeria have a high rate of poverty. As a result, they encountered numerous challenges in their efforts to improve the Dcommunity.

Because of their country's poor education and environment, the majority of deaf people have little interest in improving the Deaf community. However, there are a small number of deaf people, such as Aliyu Mai, who have education and studied at Gallaudet University. Aliyu talked about a United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-sponsored activity carried out by Gallaudet University. It aims to improve education, employment, and empowerment for Deaf and Deafblind people, allowing more deaf people to receive a better education and improving the Deaf community.

Bernard Oduor Otieno and Emmanuel Munyasi shared their experience and the challenges that they faced in their lives. There are a few challenges, such as a shortage and limited availability of qualified sign language interpreters in various services such as hospitals, courts, and educational institutions. Not only that but there aren't many interpreters who are willing to give their time and dedication to helping and improving the Deaf community. As a result, raising awareness about the importance of empowering more interpreters and investing in training programs to increase the number of qualified sign language interpreters, as well as improving education, employment, and empowerment for the Deaf, is critical to ensuring a better future for the Deaf community.

Aside from that, the Deaf community faced limited opportunities for sports participation, as deaf people were unable to participate in sports due to a lack of inclusive programs and trained coaches. They hope to see more inclusive sports programs for deaf athletes, as well as training for coaches and organisers in deaf-friendly sports techniques and communication methods.

Finally, I would like to thank you so much to the Deaf speaker, Park Min Ho, who shared about his experience with the deafblind community, and Aliyu Mai (Deaf Speaker), Bernard Oduor Otieno (Hearing Speaker), and Emmanuel Munyasi (Deaf Speaker) for highlighting the importance of empowering interpreters and the Deaf community. Theatre for All (Teater Untuk Semua) @ Taylor University

What a stunning Saturday night! One of my good friends was able to secure a special ticket for me and another good friend to attend a special event titled "Theatre For All" (Teater Untuk Semua). Persons with disabilities performed their acting in the theatre. Honestly, it is difficult to obtain due to the limited invitation. It is the most meaningful theatre experience I have ever had. Anyway, we came to support our friends, Gejaletchumi and Dino who are performing in the theatre. It took place on September 28 at Taylor University's Experimental Theatre.

It is a very moving experience to see different people with disabilities immerse themselves in theatre performances. They did a fantastic job of expressing their feelings. Because they commit their time to practicing and performing their acting in order to have an inclusive performance over the course of 12 weeks. It is best to immerse yourself in their world so that you can imagine what it looks like. Anyway, I was unable to share each of their stories because they expressed their true feelings so sincerely. I hope it will reach out to the public very soon. It is a must-see! Anyway, my good friends and I are grateful for the opportunity to witness their beautiful performance.

Aside from that, I was surprised and pleased to see my juniors after 15 years of not seeing each other. Absolutely, it makes me happy to see them again. Time passes so quickly.

Overall, we hope to see this type of theatre reach out to the public because it can raise awareness about how different people with disabilities can perform and interact together. It can encourage more people to get ideas to plan programs, training, workshops, or theatre that are more inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities.

First-Ever Inclusivity Comedy Show For Deaf Community @ KL Comedy Corner

Aww!! Happy Friday! My good friends and I went to a special place last Friday. It is the first live stand-up comedy show organized by KL Comedy Corner. They featured several comedians, including Russell Curtis, Hindra Bose, Nicholas Lim, King, Preethina, Sujesh, and Chin Chong, who shared their jokes and funny stories with the audience, which included deaf people. It was a pleasure and honour to attend and experience the live Comedy Show for the first time.

It was a fantastic experience to see how the comedian made us laugh and to experience the joys of burster and live standup comedy. We thanked the BIM Interpreters, Calysta and Kimberly for translating all the comedians' jokes. Aside from that, Sujesh is a generous sponsor, offering 15 free tickets to the Deaf community. Deaf community grateful to him for this ticket.

This comedy show successfully makes live entertainment more accessible and inclusive by opening the doors to the Deaf audience, who are often left out. Thank you for making the impossible event become possible. As a result, this event is unique for us because most of us have never attended a live comedy show before. Thus, this is our first time attending this special event. Some comedians took some time to adjust, but they did their best to entertain us with their silly, funny, and hilarious jokes. Even they enjoy interacting and talking to us. Awesome!

To be honest, it was a good experience for us because we never expected that the comedian would make us laugh along with the audience. It means that we deserved to experience the live comedy show, we laughed as well as hearing people laugh. Otherwise, some Deaf people would have no idea what a live comedy show was and would have assumed it was boring, but it actually entertains everyone. In addition, it was great to meet a few friends there.

Thank you so much, KL Comedy Corner, for collaborating with the Deaf Community and organising such a unique event: a live comedy show for Deaf audiences with BIM Interpreters. As a result, we all thoroughly enjoyed and laughed together, exactly like hearing did. Even we had a memorable experience. It successfully leads a night filled with laughter and good vibes.

"Laughter is the best medicine" is one of the best quotes. Can make you happy, young, and feel refreshed after laughing for a while.

I even told my close friends about this restaurant and made plans to bring them along. Anyway, my group and I considered it to be the best Mookata experience we have ever had. The fact that we absolutely loved it.

Upon arriving at this restaurant, I was surprised to find it to be quite spacious and offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. Due to the light mode, the atmosphere is a little dark, but the air conditioning will prevent you from sweating while eating barbecue and steamboat continuously. But your attention was attracted to the adorable pink elephant in the logo.

The Pink Elephants offers over 50 types of ingredients and 6 types of unlimited barbecue, starting from only RM40.80++ per person! The soup base is available; Corn Soup, Tom Yam Soup and Gaeng Som Soup. The six varieties of BBQ are Signature Marinated Pork Slice, Exclusive Special Black Pepper Pork Slice, Pork Slice, Signature Marinated Chicken Slice, Exclusive Special Black Pepper Chicken Slice and Minced Pork. However, you can upgrade to the Deluxe Refill for an extra RM6.00 if you would like to have fish, smoke duck, prawns, scallops, clams, and moo ping.

I had never tried an Exclusive Special Black Pepper Pork Slice before. The black pepper sauce gives it a spicy and flavorful taste. My group was also impressed by the flavor's taste. Everybody enjoys it. Another BBQ variety that is also fairly tasty. Additionally, you should try dipping the Thai Chilli Sauce, Gold Jizzla Sauce, and T.P.E. Signature Sauce on the BBQ varieties and ingredients to enhance the flavor.

Most of the tables are set up in rows, but occasionally different people will sit at different tables in the same row, and the cute paper logo will be placed and separated.

Bichi Mao Mini Exhibition @ KLIF Gallery, GMBB Kuala Lumpur

Last weekend, my good friend and I had the opportunity to explore the cutest Bichi Mao exhibition I had ever seen. It is located at Klif Gallery, GMBB Kuala Lumpur. It will be held until September 15, 2024. My good friend is a cat lover. So she really enjoys cats. Thus, I informed her about this exhibition. She was just like, Wow! I really want to go! I say let's go!! I like cute things, including cute cat characters! Overall, we are very excited to explore it.

Once we arrived, wow, many people were queuing up to enter this exhibition. Everyone is willing to wait for a while. A large, adorable Bichi Mao toy greeted us. There are a few different spots for Bichi Mao journey. It really caught our attention and made us melt when we saw the exhibition from a distance because cute cat characters were everywhere. They are so cute! As a cat lover, you should not miss this opportunity to explore this event. You can even bring your children to explore this exhibition. Perhaps one of your kids will grow to be an artist.

I noticed that the majority of people who visit this exhibition are young teenagers and young adults who enjoy exploring the event. Aww!!! Let us embark on our first Bichi Mao journey. To redeem one Instax photo, we had to click "follow Bichi Mao and Insta Club" on Instagram and participate in a chance to win an Insta Mini by counting the number of Insta Cameras hidden among Bichi Mao. Then we wrote our guesses, put our names on the paper, and placed them in the Lucky Draw BOX if we were chosen as winners. Anyway, it all depends on luck. Absolutely, I want to win!

The next stop is the Bichi Mao bus station, where we only took photos. Otherwise, we can get the cute stickers from the token machine if we RVSP, but forget to register first. Oh no! This means that we did not receive any freebies during our whole Bichi Mao journey. Anyway, it didn't bother us at all. At the very least, we enjoyed exploring and immersing ourselves in Bichi Mao's world. Then we proceeded to the Beauty of Bichi Mao mirror. We can capture our photos with a beautiful background.

Additionally, there are few Bichi Mao's drawing exhibition is very adorable and cute. It's one of the cutest drawing exhibitions I've ever seen. After that, we enjoyed seeing a beautiful background that is filled with beautiful sakura and has a Japanese vibe. Feeling great and hoping that it brings the Bichi Mao cat to me so that I can have a wonderful life, our dreams will come true, and anything is possible! Certainly, it will be the same for my good friend.

Finally, we need to chop and write and express a meaningful letter and post it in the pos box for the future. However, we did not do so. Immediately, my friend brought her small notes to obtain the lovely and adorable chop from Bichi Mao. It's awesome! After that, we went shopping at Bichi Mao's shop. Wow! There is a variety of adorable Bichi Mao merchandise. My friend is excited to purchase some merchandise.

Overall, we took a photo with Olive, the Bichi Mao Artist and founder of Bichi Mao. I sincerely appreciate it. We love it so much.

Time moves so quickly. International Sign Language Day (IDSL) is back! September is a unique and special month in the Deaf Community, dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about the value of Sign Language. International Sign Language Day, which falls on September 23rd, is a significant day that emphasizes the importance of sign languages in assisting deaf people to access and enjoying their full human rights.

That's fantastic news! RC Deaf Mission Malaysia is gearing up to host an exciting series of events in September 2024, all centered around International Sign Language. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, learn, and celebrate the importance of sign language including our Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia(BIM) in ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

Nihon Matsuri 2024 @ Stadium Bukit Jalil, Selangor

Aww...My good friends and I went to Nihon Matsuri, a Japanese festival organized by Trumpet International Sdn Bhd and held at Car Park B Stadium Bukit Jalil from July 25th to July 28th, and August 1st to August 4th, 2024. To be honest, this is my first time exploring this event. We were delighted to learn about Japanese heritage and traditional culture. That is quite good! Anyway, I just want to share a short glimpse of my experience at this festival. Thank you to Selina Wing, who suggested we visit the Nihon Matsuri 2024, a Japanese culture festival in Bukit Jalil after we experienced the Bon Odori 2024 in Shah Alam.

First, we arrived in the late evening. What's funny is that we kept walking around the Bukit Jalil stadium looking for the Nihon Masturi entrance, but we couldn't find it. A few minutes later, we had to ask someone about this event. We finally found it. Before we could enter this festival, we needed to purchase a ticket. Then, we were impressed to see a beautiful bamboo arch walkway welcoming us to explore the surroundings. Even a big cute Maneki-Neko drew our attention. Aside from that, there is a lot of Maneki-Neko on the shelves. Without a doubt, we will not miss the opportunity to capture photos around us. Anyway, we enjoyed exploring this event, and obviously, we won't miss out on having a bite snack.

In addition, we are immersed in the Japan Culture site, which has a variety of booths selling Japanese food, games, merchandise, and more. Not only that, but many people wear Yukatas and immerse themselves in their cosplayer styles based on anime and characters that are quite popular in Japan. The booth caught our attention because we had the chance to witness the precious process of live-cutting high-quality tuna. First time seeing a large tuna fish! The interesting thing is that we were able to capture a 360 spin cam by @xoxnimbus. It's a great pose for capturing the photo. We had a lot of fun walking from Station 1 to 5, but we only got the stamps from Station 2 or 3. To reveal a Manekineko work. Overall, we really enjoy it. I am looking forward to discovering this type of event next year.

It had been a while. I last visited this restaurant located at Plaza Arkadia with my friends a few years ago. Anyways, it is no longer at Plaza Arkdia. Don't worry, Thai Hou Sek is still operating somewhere else. Recently, my brother and I had dinner at Thai Hou Sek in One Utama Shopping Centre.

When I walked into this restaurant, I remembered some memories of dining with my good friends at Plaza Arkadia. Anyway, I feel good when I see that the atmosphere is quite calm and comfortable. So now is the time to crave Thai Fusion Cuisine.

This time, we opted for the Mix & Match Set because we believe it is the perfect combination for us to share different meals together. Thus, we will have soup, meat, and vegetables, or egg or tofu. We ordered Red Tom Yam, Chicken, Thai Tamarind & Green Chilli Pork, and Onion Omelette. This set includes a drink of the day and unlimited rice. Every meal is tasty and delicious. The price is very reasonable. It also has offers for groups of four or six.

You may take a look at this menu photo. However, I'm not sure how long the promotion will last, and it might be for a limited time. If you are carving at the Thai Cuisine Set, you can choose this Mix & Match Set with your family or friends.

Absolutely, I am looking forward to eating different types of Thai cuisine with my family and friends in the future. Anyway, we had a great time eating in and felt very full.

阿公家鄉肉骨茶 Grandpa Restaurant @ Taman Bidara Selayang Selangor

Without a doubt, my family and I have regularly dined at Grandpa Restaurant in Taman Bidara, Selayang. Anyway, we enjoyed our meal there. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to get to this restaurant from my house. This restaurant has been open for approximately 25 to 30 years. The majority of customers are regular customers.

This restaurant is unique in that it serves Teochew Bak Kut Teh with various herbal ingredients, and the soup is fragrant and aromatic, despite its light color. So the soup tastes fresh and healthy. Not only that, but they have served a variety of food such as Claypot Curry Fish Head, Braised Pork, Braised Trotter, Braised Chicken Feet, Braised Tou Fu, Mushroom, Pepper Pork Stomach Soup, Preserved Vegetable, Char Gui, Vegetable and Rice. Anyway, they just recently launched their new menu, Curry Chicken.

It was featured on 8 TV Ho Chak. You can view a menu photo. Overall, the food is still delicious. We enjoyed eating it very much.

Bon Odori Festival 2024 @ Kompleks Sukan Negara Shah Alam, Malaysia

Aww, I am feeling good! My good friend and I plan to visit the 48th Bon Odori Festival at Kompleks Sukan Negara Shah Alam on July 20, 2024. To be honest, this is my first visit to this festival, even though I have heard about it every year. Anyway, thank you, my good friend, for bringing me to this event.

This year's 48th Bon Odori Festival highlighted cultural performances from Japan, such as Nihon Buyou-Bu Dance, Bon Odori Dance, Wadaiko Dance, drum performances, lantern ornaments, traditional Japanese attire, and local food. This festival attracted over 40,000 visitors and highlighted Selangor's diverse and multicultural community.

We arrive in the late evening. It is difficult to find a parking space because this festival attracts a large number of people. So we arrived a little earlier, but we took our time looking for a parking spot. However, we are grateful to have found a parking spot. We also received a free fan when we entered this entrance.

When I walked into this stadium, I was impressed to see that many people wore Yukatas clothes and even sat and enjoyed eating on the picnic. I believe that everyone will have a unique and special experience because this festival reflects the uniqueness of Japanese culture and festivals. Even it can also strengthen friendships and relationships between Malaysian and Japanese people, bringing them closer together.

Yang Berhormat Dato' Ng Suee Lim, EXCO of Local Government and Tourism, emphasised the festival's impact on tourism. "The number of Japanese tourists visiting Selangor increased by 49%, from 73,822 in 2022 to 110,018 in 2023. This positive trend highlights the festival's impact on Selangor's tourism sector and appeals to the Japanese market"

“With Visit Selangor Year approaching in 2025, we believe that festivals like Bon Odori are pivotal in attracting tourists and achieving our goal of welcoming 8 million visitors next year. The Bon Odori Festival stands as a testament to the strong cultural ties between Japan and Selangor, promising an exciting future for tourism and cultural exchange”, said Yang Berhormat Dato’ Ng Suee Lim.

Not only that but there are plenty of booths where they sell a variety of foods and beverages. Absolutely we managed to purchase our food and beverages. In addition, I explored all of the booths. Too tempting. However, we just chose what we wanted to eat and drink.

The dance performance began at 7:00 p.m., and this was my first time seeing it. Very lively and awesome. Everyone enjoyed watching this performance. Without a doubt, the weather is hot, but that did not stop us from experiencing the festival vibe, and the atmosphere becoming more vibrant and crowded.

Overall, this festival is attractive and exposes Japanese culture and festivals. In fact, thank my good friend for bringing me to this fantastic festival. I would always seen it advertised and wanted to try it. Finally, my dreams have come true. I went there with my family and my aunt's family. It was one of my most memorable and priceless experiences. Ermm...Let me tell you a quick funny story. When I was young, my family and I went to my hometown of Pulau Ketam during the holiday season or the Chinese New Year celebration. When I pass by Pulau Ketam, I always see a large cruise ship named SuperStars Gemini, Leo, and others. When I saw it, I wondered when we would board the cruise. It means that my dreams will come true, as well as whatever we wish for. It will undoubtedly be fulfilled as long as we do not give up chasing our dreams. Thank you, Genting Dream Cruise, for allowing everyone to experience a luxury cruise while enjoying and relaxing at sea.

Day 1

Obviously, we must check in at Port Klang Cruise Terminal around 2.00pm, with the last check-in time at 5.00pm. To be honest, we left my house around 12.00pm and expected to arrive there around 1 hour and a half later, around 1.30pm, but we encountered issues that we didn't expect, such as being stuck in heavy traffic on weekdays. I was surprised when we couldn't move forward and it was one of the worst traffic jams I'd ever seen. There were numerous trucks, lorries, and buses clustered together. I was curious what had happened this time. When I checked the Waze app at the time, it showed that there had been an accident, which was the cause of the bad traffic. It's almost 3 p.m. already. Many messages appeared on Waze, expressing worries that they would be unable to check in on time due to the same issues. It means that there are no alternatives for getting to the final destination. As a result, we managed to get there a little late before 5.00pm.

It's so exciting! Finally, we arrived at Genting Dream Cruise and received my Genting Dream Cruise Card, which we used to access my room on the cruise. Wow! For the first time, I must seize the opportunity to take a photo with my family and aunt's family at Port Klang Cruise Terminal before walking to the Cruise. It's no surprise that so many people are as excited as we are. The crew greeted us and we proceeded to our assigned stateroom to put the luggage before exploring the cruise.

Wow! I was surprised to see the room and bathroom, which is quite neat and appears to be larger than I expected. They also provide us with a complimentary tea and coffee set as well as mineral water. So, this is my interior stateroom, without a window or balcony. While my aunt's family chose a Balcony Stateroom. I went over to their rooms. That's quite nice! We were starving at the time, so we went to The Lido for a late lunch. Wow! Many people queue up to get food and beverages. We explored the Main Pool Deck after we finished our lunch. The weather was nice and bright, especially the beautiful sunset. I absolutely love it. Feel blessed when see beautiful nature and a sunset. Furthermore, I was impressed by Genting Dream Cruise's good vibes and lovely environment, and I explored the Casino's vibe. So enthusiastic!

To be honest, you will never be bored on a cruise. Because there are so many things to eat, do, play, enjoy, and relax such as restaurants, bars, the palace, entertainment, retail, beauty & wellness, sports & recreation, and other services. We dine at Dream Dining Room Upper, which serves Chinese cuisine and a fixed menu. The menu is the same for each table. Aside from that, we can request more foods from the same menu. Unless you want to pay more for the menu or beverages such as Beer and Roasted Duck. All of the foods appear appealing and delectable. No worries, you can choose from Western cuisine, Asian cuisine, HotPot, and many other options. You can get more information from Genting Dream Cruise. Just have fun as long as you are happy while on the cruise.

The cruise departs at 8 p.m. from Port Klang and arrives in Singapore at 10 a.m. We enjoyed unwinding at The Main Pool Deck, and many people enjoyed swimming and relaxing there. It's incredible to see a beautiful night view, especially from the Main Pool Deck. Not only that, but we went to see the performance at Zodiak Theatre, where there was a funny competition between three couples to win the competition based on Love Matters's Question. So fun and lovely! After we finished our supper at The Lido's Outdoor. It's time to shower, sleep, and get ready for the next day. Sleep well at night!

Day 2

The next day, we get up around 6 a.m. and have breakfast at The Lido at 7 a.m. because we can eat a variety of foods such as Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Asian dishes, as well as Western foods and many others. Because it is a buffet, each table has a set amount of time to eat. Because there are a lot of people who queue to eat and dine in.

After we finished our breakfast, the cruise arrived in Singapore at the same time, and we had to wait for the tour to bring us to Singapore, and we absolutely had to check in for immigration. We decided to take a short tour of Singapore. This option is for anyone who wants to stay on the cruise or go sightseeing in Singapore. After we finished our immigration, we boarded a bus that took us to The Merlion for 15 minutes of photo opportunities before heading to Jewel Changi Airport. Once we arrived at Jewel Changi Airport and it was Free and Easy, so we just enjoyed ourselves until we gathered at the time specified before returning to the Cruise. Simultaneously, we meet up with my Uncle and Uncle's wife. They bring us for lunch in the surrounding area. Wow! The food is quite appealing and delectable. Thank you very much for the treat.

Wow!! This is my first time seeing Jewel Changi Airport, which is well-known for having a mall and an entertainment complex. It is separate from, but connected to, Terminal 1, Transit Passengers. As a result, we can enjoy everything there without having to worry about immigration procedures. The Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world, caught my attention in particular and is surrounded by a terrace forest setting. So beautiful and attractive. Amazingly, a lot of travellers and residents like walking through Jewel Changi Airport.

Awww...I was lucky to see the Avengers exhibition, which is being held at Canopy Park from May 26, 2023, to August 13, 2023. Wow! A tall Iron Man greeted us at the Forest Valley entrance before we explored the valley there were different Avengers-themed photos and could learn some fun and interesting facts about our favorite Super Heroes around the lush greenery. I was surprised to see how many people wanted to take pictures with them, especially how happy the children were to see them. If you walk around Jewel Changi Airport, you can catch a glimpse of the Avengers. That's awesome! Otherwise, if you missed it, there is plenty of shopping and dining nearby.

We returned to the Cruise in the late evening and continued to explore the ship before dining at the same restaurant, Dream Dining Room Upper. The menu is different than first day. The food is quite good and delicious. What an amazing miracle, I met my juniors there because I didn't have roaming that time, and we grabbed some time to chat chit after our respective dinners and proceeded to watch the wonderful performance in Zodiak Theatre together. This time, the performance is even better and more incredible. It was very entertaining and amusing to watch. By the way, I'm sorry I couldn't show you the photo of the Casino environment and vibes because it is not allowed to take pictures in this area. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Day 3

We all eat breakfast at The Lido and deck at Port Klang before going home. Although the time flew by, it was so good for us to unwind and relax for a short getaway, especially on a cruise, where there is no need to worry about becoming bored because they provide a variety of entertainment. To be honest, I hope to board the cruise again whenever the opportunity arises because I enjoy relaxing at sea. Overall, my family and I had a fantastic time exploring Genting Dream Cruise and taking a short tour of Singapore.

I always crave seafood and am extremely excited; it is definitely one of my favorite foods. Not only that, but my family enjoys it as well. This restaurant, Salak Baru Coffee 新沙叻皇朝海鲜饭 is located in Fortune Centra, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, and serves Chinese cuisine with a variety of seafood dishes. If you want to find Seafood Cuisine and bring your beloved family, then this restaurant is highly recommended to try out.

Anyway, this restaurant has two dining options: indoors or outdoors. The atmosphere is quite okay and clean. To be honest, I had been here a few times before. If you come here during dinner time, especially on weekends, please make a reservation or it will be better if you come here earlier otherwise you will have to wait some time to get the table occupancy. Furthermore, you must prepare to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for the food to be served, especially during peak hours.

I was surprised that this restaurant is so popular in the neighborhood. Because this restaurant only started operating in this area about two years ago. Honestly, this restaurant evolved from a stall. The stall continues to operate today. The stall is just located on the roadside. The restaurant is only a three-minute walk away from here. My sibling and I visited the stall previously to try their signature Coconut Shake beverages. Since then, I've only known their stall's name and never expected to see this stall expand to become a restaurant in just a few years.

Absolutely, they have their signature Coconut Shake Beverages, which are very popular and well-liked by many people. This is definitely something you should try. Wow! They serve a variety of dishes, including fish, prawns, pork, squid, lala, seafood, vegetables, eggs, soup, noodles, and ala carte. However, the price is considered a bit expensive. It would be preferable if a large group or family shared meals together.

They introduced their new dish, Crabs, last year! RM59.80 net for three L-sized crabs! You may inquire with them about the crab flavor that they provide. Wow! Long time no eat crab! I'm excited to see that the food has been served, which is Crab with buttermilk sauce. It is quite delicious, has a strong milk aroma, and is quite fresh. It comes with soft bread. I believe that many of us will dip it in the sauce; it tastes the best! If you eat crab, you will definitely enjoy it. In addition, Steamed Fish consists of Taufu, Enoki Mushroom, Mushroom, Tomatoes, Long Beans, Tofu, and Coriander with Ginger Sauce. Better combinations enhance flavor. Aside from that, vegetable dishes are always good, but it all depends on how much salt or sweetness is added to them.

Anyway, my family and I have been here before. We have a variety of dishes at this restaurant. I was surprised to find that the other dishes were quite delicious and tasty. The pork and chicken are very tender and juicy. Even the fish is quite fresh. Aside from that, tofu and vegetables are quite tasty. You can view my food photos below. No wonder so many people like to come and dine in this restaurant. The only disadvantage is that the price is slightly expensive.

What a beautiful Saturday! I am very excited to meet my good friends and group where we will celebrate my friend's birthday and the June babies together. This is my first visit to the gastropub, Tap Room KL, which is located at Bamboo Hills, Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. Wow! It takes about 15 minutes to get there from my house. Very near!

Bamboo Hills is filled with lush greenery and a relaxing, garden-like atmosphere. Once my good friend and I arrived there earlier, we discovered an ideal spot for capturing the beautiful landscape. While we waited for other friends, we decided to go for a walk and take some beautiful photos. I just have the impression that I am travelling overseas. I really enjoy this scenery. Many people like to visit Bamboo Hill in Kuala Lumpur. Bamboo Hill is a perfect spot for a diverse range of restaurants, each with their own unique culinary style and incredible attention to detail and creativity in their craft and ambiance. When I was heading to the Tap Room KL, there were a lot of beautiful flowers and trees surrounding us. Imagine that it gives us the best impression of this spot.

Wow! Many people queued up earlier, even though the gastropub had not yet opened for business. To be honest, Tap Room KL is always packed on weekends, and it is extremely difficult to walk in and get a table. As a result, you must make your reservation through the Tap Room KL link. This restaurant is well-known for its signature dishes and craft beers.

Would you like to learn more about Tap Room KL's background? Tap Room KL is a unique dining and entertainment venue that provides the best of craft beer and delectable meals. The venue is home to Malaysia's own craft beer brand, PAPERKITE, and serves an extensive range of modern, contemporary-inspired tapas to complement the beer. They have a seating capacity of 500, this place is suitable to hold a variety of parties or events such as weddings, birthday celebrations, meetings, occasions, and many more. The atmosphere is quite nice and spacious. Tap Room KL offers two dining options: indoor or outdoor. However, outdoor seating is available at 6pm onwards.

In addition, Tap Room serves the best, well-known, and signature dishes, such as Pizza Duo, which serves authentic and delectable Neapolitan pizzas with a variety of unique flavours baked in the built Stefano Ferrara Oven. It is the largest of its kind in Malaysia, weighing 3500 kilograms. The majority of the dough is made with fresh and high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. In addition, TAP ROOM KL features a live stage for music performances. As a result, you will have the best experience and memories while dining in and enjoying meals and beverages in a beautiful atmosphere.

Are you ready to see what we discovered while exploring our food? Let's go hunting for food right now! No worries, we can take a look at the menu, and it really makes me crave a variety of meals and beverages, because the menu is too tempting to attract me. A diverse menu including Pizzas, Tapas, Yakitori, Platter, Soup, Super Bowl, Brunch, Pasta, Sando, Platter, Burger, Carnivore, Asian, and Dessert. It is time to try the best recommendation. While we wait for the food to be served, we chat for a while.

The main dish, best seller, and most popular signature, Shroomami Pizza(RM72), will be served. They use Italian ingredients like Parmigiano fondue, truffle salsa, fior di latte, portobellini mushroom, ricotta, and truffle oil. When I tried this pizza, I was surprised and impressed because the pizza dough is too soft and light, which makes it easier to eat. Even more delicious, and this is my first time I've ever had a soft and light Pizza. As far as I know, their dough has been double fermented for more than 72 hours. No wonder this pizza is so soft and delicious! This is a must-try and highly recommended. You will definitely like it. You and your group can share a meal together.

After that: Spicy Stir Fried Topokki (RM 21.80). When it is served on the table, it reminds me of Stir Fried Daikon Cake (Radish Cake/Char Koay Kak), which I used to buy at the Night Market. Well, this meal has Korean Rice Cake and a spicy sauce that I didn't expect. However, it is delicious. To be honest, I am not a fan of tteokbokki, but they created this dish in a stir-fried style that impressed me and made me enjoy it. Yummy!

Gambas Al Ajillo (RM 46.80) It consists of Sauteed Tiger Prawns in a traditional Spanish recipe with oil, garlic, and dried chilies. It is served with charcoal buns. My first time eating this Spanish cuisine, and it gives me a kick savoury, with a rich spiciness and olive oil. I never expected it to be spicy, but it's really tasty, especially when dipping the bun, which is a must-try. No worries, the oil is olive oil, which can be considered a healthy food. This dish is highly recommended to try if you love spicy prawns or are curious to try it.

Grilled Aubergine (RM23.80) is one of the meals' creative decorations. It has a variety of toppings, including Aubergine, Golden Baby Prawns, Lemon Aioli and Sriracha sauce. It has a balanced combination of sweet, sour and chilli sauce. It has an unique flavour and adds a kick to savoury dishes. You can try out this new flavour if you want.

We wanted to try two different soups. First soup: MOB Soup (RM25.80) It contains mushrooms, caramelised onions, pearl barley, and sourdough toast. This soup is quite nice and has a rich variety of mushrooms and a pleasant mushroom aroma. It also has a rich sweetness of onions with barley and a well-balanced taste buds. Absolutely dip the toast into the soup and enjoy it. Meanwhile, another soup, Cauliflower Mussels Soup (RM26.80). It includes cauliflower and mussels. It was served with sourdough toast. This soup is also pretty good. I was surprised after tasting it because it did not have a strong Mussels odour, so the soup has a pleasant aroma from the cauliflower. Anyway, I like both soups. Overall, the soup is tasty. I am certain you will like it.

Moonlight Pesto (RM37.80). It contains spaghetti with Basil Pesto and raw egg yolk on it, as well as Karage style chicken chops. Honestly, I'm not a fan of pesto, but this pasta has a mild pesto aroma and a well-balanced flavour, and the chicken is tender, crispy, and juicy. It is so tasty that I prefer the chicken over the pasta. Anyway, these are my personal preferences. It depends on everyone's preferences. It will be better if you give it a try. Maybe you will like it.

Chargrilled Javanese Chicken Satay (RM 29.80). The skewered and grilled chicken is served with sweet potato chips, fresh cucumbers, onions, and the signature peanut sauce. The chicken is always juicy and tasty, especially when dipped into the peanut sauce. However, I see that sweet potato chips have been added to it, which is quite creative. It is a must-try if you enjoy Satay!

Wow! We are very full, but we still want to eat more. It's time to crave dessert. This time, we surprised my friends with a birthday dessert. A few staff members bring the dessert and sing happy birthday to three friends who celebrate June month. At the same time, we use BIM (Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia) to sing them happy birthday. It's a truly wonderful and amazing celebration.

The first dessert is Berry Ful Waffles (RM33.80). It has a variety of toppings, like Earl Grey, raspberry and vanilla ice cream, and Oreo crumbs, mixed berry compote with fresh berries. After that, another dessert called Flourless Chocolate Cake (RM 26.80) It consists of raspberry ice cream, oreo crumbs, rose petals, mixed berry compote, and granola. Finally, the dessert is called Raindrop Cake (RM19.80). It is a dewdrop dessert infused with French rose Oreo crumbs, granola, and sweet yuzu cream. No denying that dessert is always be best and makes us feel happy and melt after biting the sweet tooth.

In addition, we have different beverages to drink, such as Red Grapefruit & Yuzu (RM18.00), Melon & Peach (RM18.00), and Lychee Rose (RM18.00). This beverage is alcohol-free. Each drink has a unique flavor, but my favorite is Lychee Rose. If you love alcohol, you should try their craft and signature beer, PaperKite.

Selina and I were delighted to see Jayson after many years. We had a wonderful chat. Taking a photo with him is an absolute must. Thank you so much, Jayson, for taking his time to recommend the best and signature food. All of the food is delicious. We absolutely loved it. Not only that, but their service is pleasant and satisfying. Overall, my group and I had a fantastic time celebrating my friend's birthday at Tap Room KL.
