We recently added a new type of manuscript category for Pediatric Physical Therapy, “Physical Therapy for Low-Resourced Populations.” The authors of these articles and the accompanying commentaries have important voices for pediatric physical therapists and the rehabilitation community.

In this issue, Cunningham and colleagues offer a new training model for rehabilitation professionals in Myanmar, a Southeast Asian nation. In their commentary for this article, Bican and Korpi suggest an application of this model to rural communities such as found in Appalachia and other low-resourced populations in the United States.

We have much to learn from each other in an international community!
