Is it me or are these candidates talking more of the same? Each debate poses the same questions on immigration, foreign policy, the economy, pro-life and so on. Has there really been a significant change in message from these candidates? I don't see it. Sometimes the rhetoric in these debates is quite insulting. Either they REALLY believe in what they say, or they are taking one for the Good Ole' Boys Network. Either way, it is severely reckless. [read]

MSNBC just made Pat Buchanan’s books sales go up, simply by firing him. I don’t feel Pat Buchanan should have been fired, but when money is involved, media networks are going to hire those that will enhance their ratings. I don't necessarily believe in most of what Pat Buchanan has to say, but this guy has a right to express his views even if they are unconventional. [read]

Same sex rights have been gaining far more momentum in the media. I truly am happy that we are having this discussion. Obama's administration will no longer defend legislation in court, banning same-sex couples from receiving military and veteran’s benefits. Currently, same sex military and veteran spouses do not have the same privileges and benefits as opposite sex couples. [read]
