About Transforming Your Life From Blah To Legendary!

I decided at a very young age that I didn’t want a “normal life” and, through the years, have developed habits and studied how to improve the efficiency of my life, the thoughts, ideas and concepts from a lifetime of lessons are synthesized within this book. I had also read more than my fair share of motivational books and from those experiences, wrote mine to use extensive imagery using a comic strip of characters to help bring some humor to the information being given as well as a step-by-step guide. My hope is that this book can help turn your life into one that is remembered far after you are gone.

So, what happened this month? Well WoodMarvels.com:

• released a Hippo, updated 6mm light table
• added a new collaboration with Lidija which included the Pupa Mannequin and Slon Seat / Walker
• added a new designer, Noelle with her Advent Tree
• was written about by a German Woodworking site
• simplified EPS licenses to allow easier future growth

I also released my newest book, Transforming your life from Blah to Legendary! before WoodMarvels.com V2 and most importantly, got a new laptop to design wicked new things at lighting speed!

This was needed because, for example, our dinosaur collection, had 4mm, 6mm and 10mm EPS file types available in both commercial and personal license format in addition to 3 laser cut sizes etc. This gave it a total of 10 options but by streamlining things, I cut this number 5. Much simpler.

As such, I’ve also clarified the use of EPS files to the following throughout the WoodMarvels.com web site.

> EPS files have had most double lines removed and optimized to fit the following boards. These are considered production licenses and are a price per cut regardless of intended purpose. They are non-transferable meaning you cannot get another person or company to cut these designs on your behalf.

If you bought a personal EPS license in the past, don’t worry, you can keep using it as originally intended.

My goal this year was to publish 3 new books, so far, one has been published and the other two are at different stages of being proofed for release. They are WoodMarvels.com Volume 2 which will be AMAZING! While the other is a science fiction book that should be released later in the fall if all goes to plan.

Transforming Your Life From Blah To Legendary!: A Guide For Massive Positive And Lasting Changes In Your Life

I decided to write this book because it summarizes my view on life and the habits that have allowed me to live a rather different life than what is told to us to live out of school. I enjoy traveling the world, learning new things and expanding my horizons through various entrepreneurial endeavors. I really enjoy giving the tools to others to improve their life and I think writing a book that is a step-by-step guide towards achieving a rewarding life is a good start.

I have read far too many self-help and business books, they all start sounding the same, even sharing quotes between one another so I decided to do something completely different. First, I enjoy humor and comics so each “day” is summarized with one followed by a paragraph going more in-depth then more details about the topic at hand followed by a “call to action” sort of speak.

It’s a little hard to explain so I have taken the extra step of allowing you to search and view the book online though Amazon’s “Search Inside” program which is really a great way to preview a book. I did everything that you see myself, from 3D-drawing the comic panels to writing and laying things out. Lots of work, but well worth it! You can read a bit of its history here.

WoodMarvels.com Volume 2 Update

I’ve sent off another proof, had to fix a few things but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be available at Amazon by the end of October. It’s by far the most ambitious book I have ever put together, it’s huge, full of great designs and I’m sure it will get the attention it deserves!

Huge Achievement: International Exposure

I’m very happy that WoodMarvels.com was included in a 10 page spread about Ponoko (our laser cut kit provider), you can read it online but it’s the first time we get this kind of print exposure! Next month we’ll be in another magazine in another fashion, more details about that later.

HD Video Updates

I also had the chance to updated some old videos to HD quality, at first, I started small (400 x 225)but am now rendering anything in the future at 640 x 360 HD quality. I’d love to render higher but rendering the animations is getting increasingly taxing, I’m due for a major computer upgrade by the end of the year! So many more video things I want to do!!!

For instance, our Serving Tray Guillotine that sells for 54.94$US on our site costs north of 114$ to ship! Insane!!! I guess the good news from all this is whatever solution I find, it will make things more affordable to everybody and the PDF blueprints and EPS files are still available.

I’m working hard to find a solution to this, it should happen, I really hope, before Christmas but fear not, they will come back ASAP.
