Flash Flood Watch

   A Flood Watch has been issued for W. Michigan from this (Mon.) afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.  The entire area is likely to see 1-3″ of rain.  The combination of heavy rain, melting snow and saturated ground will lead to some local flooding.  There is also still a fair amount of ice in area rivers (the month of February so far – through Sunday – is still averaging 2.8 deg. cooler than average (we’ll erase that this week).  We also have a chance of a (non-severe) thundershower.
