Poetry Open Mic

Hey All,

We'll be hosting a evening of open mic, spoken word poetry as a fundraiser for [Word] on July Fifth at Memorial University in St.Johns, Newfoundland. Room SN2101, and runs from 6:30-9:30PM. There'll be a three dollar entry fee with all funds going towards the production of [Word] and free baked goods and beverages will be provided.

Electronic Submissions

Hello All,

Today I edited the guidelines for [Word]. Since I started promoting [Word] and it's call for submissions, people have complained and questioned the reason I was only offering postal submissions. The question was easy - convience on my part. I find it alot harder to lose a piece of paper than a little attachment. It's also easier on the eyes, and easier to pass around.

However, after having a few interesting conversations with interested poets, I decided to open [Word] up for electronic submissions on a trial period. If abused, [Word will revert back to postal submissions only. However, for the time being, [Word] is indeed open to electronic submissions.
