Burn Brothers is led on vocals by veteran dub poet Trampingman aka Marc Matthews with Florian Brand covering saxophone duties and Jahpye and Atom Oil covering production duties. The extended family includes Rusty Scratch Warren (providing turntablistix), Dom Furlonge (on the drum n bass insight) and Jess Winterstein providing additional vocal melodies.

On stage alongside live dub mix, sax and vocals they are often joined by guest musicians and have their own homegrown visual VJ system (run off a stack of old TVs).

Marc Matthews was born in the 1940s in Guyana and is a true legend. In the 1960s he was a freelance reporter in London, where he was involved in the UK Black Power movement and, along with Linton Kwesi Johnson, was a prominent member of the Caribbean Artists Movement.
