I’m willing to bet that a lot of you started groaning as soon as you read the title for today’s Quick Tip. Several of you have been e-mailing me the last few weeks about the XP Antivirus 2008 ordeal, so I figured it was about time I go over it. I know the whole issue has put many of you in a panic, but I have some information for you today that I think will help calm you down. Let’s get right to it!

First of all, let me explain a little about what XP Antivirus 2008 really is. It’s basically one of the latest scams to hit the Web. It’s a fake antivirus program, but it looks so real and it has fooled a lot of computer users. It usually starts showing up after you’ve downloaded a video (or something similar) that supposedly has a virus attached to it. You are then urged to install XP Antivirus 2008 to get rid of the malware. That is, after you pay for it, of course. Once you shell out your money and install it, it starts popping up false virus alerts and fake scans. It also takes up a lot of your system memory and makes your computer almost impossible to operate.

Now, if you have fallen for this scam, don’t feel bad. You’re definitely not the only one. It’s awful that things like this even happen, but they do, so you just have to deal with them. Luckily, there’s a rather simple way to remove XP Antivirus 2008 from your computer. The directions are pretty lengthy and I didn’t want to take up all that space here in the newsletter, but you can find three different removal methods on this Web site. The first one is already on the page for you and the links for the other two can be found down below. Just make sure you follow the instructions very carefully and before you know it, you’ll be rid of this nasty scam for good!

Webmasters who believe that there is no need to optimize web design are on a state of SEO confusion. This belief will lead to the failure of the overall search engine optimization process. It is important to optimize your site’s design along with other factors like your site’s content, links, page titles and Meta tags.

An optimized web design is one that is search engine friendly. Its structure must be recognizable for the search engine spiders and crawlers. Optimizing web design is done for the purpose of making your website more navigable and spiderable for the search engine spiders and crawlers.

Web Design Elements To Optimize

Here are four of the most important elements of web design that you must take into consideration as you endeavor to achieve a more search engine friendly web design:

• HTML Element

The HTML codes that you use on your web design must be in compliance to the HTML standards widely accepted on the internet. Non-compliant HTML codes make it difficult for the search engine spiders and crawlers to spider the entire website and index it. This implies that it would be impossible for a website using non-compliant HTML codes to rank well on the search engines and its result pages.

• CSS Stylesheet Element

What is the use of a CSS Stylesheet in your web design? CSS Stylesheet allows you to standardize the overall appearance of your website. You can either use internal or external CSS; however, it is advisable to use the external CSS Stylesheet rather than the internal CSS stylesheet. This is due to the fact that external CSS Stylesheet allows your HTML codes to be concise.

• Navigation Menu Element

External JavaScript must be utilized in creating the multiple level navigation menu of your web design. This allows you to separate the HTML codes from JavaScript. Remember that the search engine spiders and crawlers find it easier to read plain HTML files. An effective web design optimization recommends this separation rather than the usual navigation menu in Javascript.

• Graphic Element

Although some resources tell you to quit using graphics, you can still use it in your website. But you have to minimize the file size of the images you will upload. And remember that the search engines prefer text rather than graphics so you should avoid using a lot of graphics on your website especially on the top portion of the page.

These elements need to be optimized if you want to come up with a search engine friendly web design. And more than this, an optimized web design adds to your website’s chance of getting higher rank on the search engines and its result pages.

If you work for yourself, outsourcing has no doubt crossed your mind. It’s something that requires a decision sooner or later. Whether your preference is to defer to another designer, outsource entirely, or simply turn work away – the question remains.

One option designers now have is that of partial outsourcing to any one of a growing list of coding services that have sprung up in the past year or so. But how do you make the determination which firm to go with? Well, figuring that out has been on my mind this week, so I thought I’d share my selection criteria.

Judging quality

First, is the site in question easy to use? Is it designed well – and more importantly, CODED well? As a service seller, your site IS your portfolio above any other work you decide to showcase. Your outsource must play by the same rules. Poke around under the hood of their site. Does the code measure up to their claims? What about any client work they have listed?

Gaging responsiveness

Before you upload a file or spend a dime, email them a couple questions. If you don’t hear back from them in 24 hours, they’re not your best bet. You need someone who can crank out quality work, but you also need reliability. If they’re promising delivery times of 8-12 hours, but they can’t answer a simple email, getting your code on time becomes a valid concern. Many of the services I reviewed had live chat available via Skype or Yahoo. This speaks volumes about their willingness to provide good customer service/support.

On a sidenote, I recently contacted a company called Stoodeo, to see what they were all about. Because their main selling point is discretion, there’s very little info on their site, and no testimonials or recent projects, save one. I sent an email briefly outlining an upcoming project, along with a few questions. That was three days ago and I still haven’t heard from them. A response time like that (without at least an auto-email) is disgraceful. I’ve already dismissed them as someone to do business with.

Protective measures

One of the main concerns about contracting a secondary source is transparency, and with it – confidentiality. Does the service your considering have a privacy policy? If not, proceed at your own risk. I’m not saying Company X is going to rip your stuff, contact your clients without permission, or do any other despicable thing you might worry about when outsourcing… but if there’s nothing in writing… well you see where I’m going with that.
Pricing and time-lines

The big question is always “what’s it gonna cost me?” Well, here are a few more questions to ask while you’re shopping:

* Are their prices listed, and are they competitive?
* Do they offer any discounts for subsequent pages?
* Do they offer different time-lines? Can you get deliverables cheaper from Company A for a 12-18 hr turn-around, as opposed to only one option of 8 hours from Company B? (Sometimes there’s no hurry, why spend more?)

Also, be wary of someone who does not list their prices at all, or who wants you to request a quote. As designers, we must quote projects based on the given parameters, but a coding service? Design slicing is an assistive service specializing in expedited code! Providers don’t have to give any thought to UI, dance around client demands, or build out content. They don’t need to worry about client branding, site goals or file structures. All they must do is follow an approved concept, along with your notes. Asking designers to request a quote negates the point of the service in my opinion, especially if you need it yesterday.

Where to look

Because this guide is intended to help you evaluate a coding service, it would not be complete without a list for you to review on your own. I looked through 15-20 sites, and those that stood out was DeSlice. This service have their prices clearly posted, a privacy policy in effect, and readily available ways to reach them if you have questions. Good luck with your choice!

When designing a website it is very important to try to focus your viewers attention to the parts that are most important to you. Luckily for you there are numerous ways to do this. Most Website design professionals know all the little tips and tricks to make certain aspects of your site stand out.

Here are a few tips from the industry professionals.

#1. Before making a headline bigger than usual you should consider whether this is actually necessary, If its just a standard headline then don’t bother, but if it’s something that will interest the customer then make it stand out, make it bigger, brighter etc.
Example: You are running a two for one sale, your potential customers will definitely be interested in this so say it loud and make it PROUD!!!

#2. Make it simple, a page on a site can have too much information on it. Remember you need to grab the customers attention quickly, so if you have lots more info on a particular subject put it on another page and put in an anchor so they can switch to it if they want the extra information. Too many sites do not make use of this feature.

#3 Use of images is also a great way to attract a customers attention, its easier to have a picture of something and stick a hyperlink in to another page which has detailed information. The old saying a picture is worth a thousand words, has never been truer.

#4 A lot of debate on this point but i personally think pop ups, sound, and videos that are thrust upon you are a definite turn off, by all means place videos but do not have them set to start automatically. Sometimes a pop up is needed but put a warning up saying this will open in a new window or something like that. This shows your potential customer you are thinking about them, and they tend to appreciate that.

#5 Now you have your website setup and it looks good you need to start working on getting it ranked in the search engines. Some people swear in using SEO companies but I would not waste my money on it. Do some research and spend a little time implementing the basic stuff and you will be pleasantly surprised at how quick the results start to show.

Choosing a web designer can seem like a daunting task. They come in all shapes and sizes – from freelancers working at home to glossy new media agencies, and there is as much variation in prices and service as there is in size.

So how do you choose the right one for your business?

Select Your Marketplace

Firstly, decide what market you would like to select from: local, national or overseas.

If you would feel more comfortable meeting your designer, and running through your project face to face (maybe it’s the kind of project that needs to “evolve”) ,and your ethos is “quality of service” rather than “Pile ‘em high, sell ‘em cheap” then a local web designer is for you. They can usually provide better back up, and be able to meet face to face to discuss your project and iron out any problems should they occur.

If you are a bit more budgeting conscious, then it makes sense to select from a “wider pool”. Getting quotes from designers across your country will usually obtain a more competitive quote. What you lose in face-to-face service is made up for in cost savings, and all but the largest web projects can usually be sorted out via telephone and email these days.

For the extremely cost conscious and value for money orientated (some would even say “brave”!) there is the overseas market. If you know exactly what you are looking for and can explain your project thoroughly and clearly in writing, then there are huge savings to be made. But what you save in price is invariably countered by having to do a little more work on your side – particularly when it comes to communication!

Finding Web Designers

To find a list of local web designers consult your Yellow Pages (or equivalent) or does a web search for “web designer “ “your area”.

Draw up a shortlist

Draw up a shortlist of 3 or 4 designers to speak to. You can do this by visiting their websites, getting a feel for the type and size of business they are and looking at their online portfolio. Then call them – ask them questions about the type of clients they work for, timeframes and any other technical questions you have. Get a feel for how they communicate – whether they are on the same wavelength as you.

If you opted to go overseas, the websites already mentioned have ratings systems which can help you decide, and you can also send and receive private messages to ask questions.

Get Quotes

Once you have your shortlist, you can get quotes. For a straightforward website this can be a simple fixed price – for a more complicated project that is likely to evolve, you may just want to get a budget price at this stage, and then pin down details and a fixed price with your preferred bidder later. Always specify your expected timeframe for completion when obtaining quotes as this can affect prices.

Get References

Once you have your preferred bidder, get references. Any established web designer will be able to provide details of satisfied clients. Email them and ask if they were happy with the service received, if the job was completed on time, how unforeseen problems were dealt with etc.

Remember to trust your instincts: If you are not entirely happy with the references you obtain, walk away and select another designer.

Appoint your web designer

You now have a fixed price, references, and confirmed timescale for your project. Now appoint your designer!

Most have standard agreements –read them carefully, and if in doubt get your legal adviser to look them over. Make sure timescales and project milestones are specified, as well as payment terms. Find out how alterations to your project are dealt with – in terms of cost and delays – and how disputes if they arise would be settled.

Finally, when you are completely happy, sign on the dotted line and look forward to a productive working relationship with your web designer!

There was a time long, long ago in technological advancement years when website design was out of the reach of all but the relative few who could write the hyper text markup language better known by its acronym ‘html’ from start to finish.

Website design, then as now, was in high demand for those with the tools and ability to help a client target an audience, develop a world wide web presence, and populate it with fast loading (at 28.8 Kbps) web pages.

Of course those early days saw sprites rendered in 256 colors as opposed to today’s true color programming (eats up lots and lots of resources) , and those historic basic colors ruled in a tile-based world and we thought they were something. Specificity of product, of course, especially if images were to be employed, became the real challenge as they could be inordinately cumbersome and slow to load. The result being one of three options, to wit: (1) wait and wait and wait – maybe while you mow the lawn, (2) become exasperated with the tedious task of internet speed – actually modem speed – to the point of “clicking off” the website, or (3) losing your treasured internet connection.

In 2008, companies such as AOL, Net Zero, and many other Internet Service Providers (ISP) offering cheap internet connections assures that there remains enough people using dial-up to connect to the internet that one doing website design must be ever cognizant of loading speeds. The standard for this measurement remains 28.8K for the Computer Man Website Design Team although no one in the United States can expect to efficiently, if at all, cruise the internet at that speed.

The difference being that almost anyone can design and build some measure of a website in the 21st century with little or no help. Many companies that offer internet hosting also offer basic website design and promotional tools. One can sign up for a sub domain, build a nice web site, add an avatar and promote it to a few search engines in an hour or less.

Missing in this scenario are the tags a website needs and any special requirements of the entrepreneurial enterprise. If the site is personal for family and friends such an under taking may be more than sufficient. All that is left to do, is an e-mail to your contacts to let them know where they can find your postings, photos, etc and you only need to change the web site when the spirit moves you. If, however, you hope to use the site to generate revenue either as a hobby or primary source of income you could be way off base.

Let’s be clear. There is no problem with a sub domain per se or as pertains to search engines. The search engines treat a sub domain as the separate website that it is. Perhaps we can cover this complicated subject in a separate article.

No. The problem is with the flexibility of the primary domain’s shared website design templates. These are templates set up specifically for sharing as little bandwidth (space) as possible with sub domains. When you compare the features and space allocated to you with that of the host, you will quickly see many of the limitations of the majority of these hosts and arrangements.

Best practices, even if using a free sub domain, is to create your website the way you want it with a third party program and upload it to your new sub domain. This can be done relatively easily with such programs as Alley Code, Evrsoft, Coffee Cup, Page Breeze or other free html editors. You can also use free WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get – maybe) website creators such as Nvu or Sea Monkey. For a Free online store creator one might try the free version of “easy store creator”… of course. What else would it be?

For more complicated and user friendly websites most will still need to retain a professional website design team. However you go about designing your website, make sure you understand and comply with the pre-requisites of the host or you will find that all of your work was in vain as your site will be rejected one way or another for one reason or another – too numerous to cover here.

How To Get Targeted Traffic To Your Website

There are many options out there. Paid traffic and Free traffic. Now, here’s one thing to consider. Even people who are good at the pay-per-click and expert converters still include other traffic methods into their marketing way. Why? Because it’s a the way to do. First of all, they’ll make more money because all these methods work well altogether. (And if they have a good design that has a high conversion with cold leads, conversion rates should be that much higher when the leads are warm.) And, it’s also never good idea to put all your methods in one basket. You should extend your traffic methods everytime. After all, you never know when one place is going to disappear, and if all your traffic is based on that one method, then you’re entire business is at risk.

What is the targeted market and in which ration visitors can search such website. Is there international market for such product? All things are very necessary before starting to design any website for business. Audience is the key step in the website designing and planning process.

Those that are different are often the ones who come out winning in the competition. When you want to be on top of your industry, it’s time for you to start planning on ways for your business to be distinctive from the rest.

Now, consider this scenario. If you have people coming to your site who already have some idea who you are, like what they hear and are interested in finding out more, then your job to turn them into paying customers just got a whole lot easier. Warm visitors, or a warm list of prospects, will respond much more favorably to your sales messages. They’re also more forgiving. The sales letters may not have to be absolutely perfect for you to get a decent conversion rate. That’s because they already know, like and trust you (and people buy from those they know, like and trust) so all you have to do is match what you’re selling to their needs.

That said, I don’t want any of you to panic because you don’t have a variety of traffic strategies in place yet. Instead, pick one traffic tactic to focus on (use the above questions to get some idea on what that should be). Once you get that one down, pick a second one. And so on. Before you know it, you’ll have lots of traffic swarming to your site.

The main task of a newsletter publisher is to select and package quality content of direct, practical relevance to its specific readership audience.

This might sound quick and easy, but it is not.

Publishing a quality newsletter is more than just cutting and pasting quality content into your newsletter. A quality newsletter is more than just the sum of its parts. The more the different sections in a newsletter support each other, the more benefits subscribers can get from it.
A quality newsletter makes sense out of the Internet chaos. A good newsletter editor understands the Internet big picture and is able to pick out relevant information which is packaged into one newsletter issue in a way that makes sense for its readers.

A poor quality newsletter is easily produced in less than 15 minutes of cutting and pasting quality content text. One issue of a good quality newsletter takes one day to produce – it might also select from the same content pool as the poor quality newsletter – but it takes more time in selecting the right combination of available free content for each issue.

Extremely high quality content, randomly aggregated into a newsletter makes a poor quality newsletter. Somewhat lower quality content, expertly packaged and organized makes a high quality newsletter. Your editorial note (that introduces each newsletter issue), shows how much understanding and effort you put into this critically important step.

Publishing a quality newsletter is a creative process. It does not involve following three easy steps. Good editors will find this article packed with value, others will consider this article as utterly useless.

Quality newsletters get edited by the most senior, experienced people in an organization, not on a rotational basis by anyone with some free time on their hands.

The following are some concepts that help a good newsletter editor in his or her task:
Integration: combine the value content of several experts in their fields into one newsletter issue. Each of these experts can only contribute expertise on their topics. However, when these standalone expert contributions are combined into one newsletter issue, all their contributions grow in value because it is part of a larger solution. Your newsletter subscribers can possibly get all your newsletter content easily elsewhere, but come to you because of the way you package and present it to them.

Position: by publishing a newsletter, you position yourself as the central point where they go to get quality Internet content, nicely packaged to address their exact needs.

Team: your newsletter will be more valuable if its content is produced by a team of people. This team of people consists of: guest article authors, contributors of tips, subscribers that provide questions and software products authors that ask you to review their software.
Benefits: your newsletter is only about providing benefits to its subscribers. The more value content you have the more benefits your subscribers get from you. Value content like: feature articles, guest articles, questions and answers, link to value resources, product reviews, your editorial comments, tips.

To summarize: you, as newsletter editor and publisher, use your newsletter to combine the content of your team of contributors into a logically-arranged, benefit-rich newsletter for your subscribers.

Your newsletter is benefit-rich when it is packed with useful, practical content that is directly relevant to the needs of your readers.

A newsletter is not benefit-rich only if it contains detailed, step-by-step articles.
A newsletter that helps its readers understand the bigger-picture meanings and implications of the Internet on a more philosophical level also has benefits. Such a newsletter should focus on educating its readership on how to apply their insight practically and on a daily basis to their business.

A newsletter that focus exclusively on step-by-step articles makes its readers works harder.
Newsletters that focus exclusively on philosophical, Internet bigger-picture visions make its readers think harder.

In my opinion, a combination of these approaches is best. Such a combination will make your readers work hard – smarter.

There are two main (opposite) approaches to packaging a quality content newsletter:
Your write all the content yourself … very time-consuming.

You select and package content created by others … the more practical and realistic approach.

Most editors choose a middle road where they contribute some original content and get the remainder of their content from other contributors.
If a good newsletter editor’s main task is packaging value content, a good newsletter subscriber’s task is to read, understand and ACT based on the insight the gain from this content. A good newsletter is your personalized to-do list for the week.

With the increasingly rapid pace of our business world, the importance of getting your brand name regularly in front of your target market is a very real situation that all companies face. Even more difficult: actually being remembered by consumers.

Every month hundreds of thousands of new companies with stacks of new products and services flood media channels – so it’s imperative to find new ways for your products to be noticed and stand out in such a crowded marketplace.

Besides the obvious methods of direct mail and display advertising, many companies also choose to be featured as a guest on talk radio shows around the country or distribute their press releases to national magazines and newspapers. These are, of course, fabulous ways to gain exposure, but there is yet another vehicle which can help you harness the power of publicity – appearances on local and national Television!

TV is one of the most tangible forms of media to promote your company and products to the masses. As it is a visual medium, TV enables your target market to actually see and hear why your product is of value to them. The visual you create leaves the audience with a lasting impression you just can’t make on radio or in print.

But just because you’ve been invited on as a guest, and you’re an expert on your product, does not necessarily make for good TV. In addition to having product knowledge and being a really good looking man or woman – there’s something called a “likeability factor” that involves a variety of tools you need to have, for the masses to really sit up, pay attention and buy into your message.

With this in mind, here are a few tips that will help you become the kind of guest every host wants to have on his or her show and will enable you to capitalize on this very valuable air-time.

1) Be energetic. Hosts and producers don’t want duds on their show! Have some energy and show your enthusiasm. The more engaging you appear the more interested and involved the audience will feel.

2) Be mindful of body language. If you are on-set watch out if you are notorious for tapping your feet, squirming in your chair and clenching your fists – these send the wrong message. If you always ‘talk’ with your hands, that’s okay; just don’t over-exaggerate your movements and make sure you don’t make loud sounds that could interfere with your microphone.

3) Research current news topics. Become well-versed in current affairs that relate to your topic. If the anchor asks you a question about a timely news story and you don’t know what he’s talking about it erodes your credibility, and “likeability factor” to their audience. So it’s a good idea to do a quick online news search for any stories related to your topic right before your scheduled interview. On the off chance that you are asked a question that you don’t know how to answer, be honest about it. It’s better to admit you’re not sure about something than to give out incorrect information.

4) Don’t sound rehearsed. You don’t want to sound like you’re reading from a telemarketing script. That’s a cue for viewers to simply tune out – they want to be entertained and informed, not sold to. Instead, jot down the key points you want to convey ahead of time. It’s okay to think about what your answers will be, but don’t feel as though you have to ‘learn your lines.’ Then when it’s time for the interview, focus on those talking points and always bring your answers back to your key message.

5) Don’t be wordy. Don’t try to look smarter by using words only a few will understand. No one likes listening to a pompous lecturer. People respond better when you talk like they do. So keep your message simple and easy to understand so viewers can relate to you better. Also avoid insider jargon or technical terms that the general public may not be familiar with. Keep in mind, your goal is to achieve broad appeal to a wide audience; you can’t do that if they can’t understand you.

6) Pace yourself! Remember that what you’re really doing is having a conversation. Talk at a normal pace—many people talk too fast when they feel nervous and this can be extremely distracting for viewers. Think about it, who wants to sit down with their morning coffee and tuning into their favorite morning show to watch (and listen to) an annoying motor-mouth! The best way to combat this? Actually listen to the interviewer’s questions. The host will appreciate your attentiveness and your engagement in a lively dialogue.

7) Be descriptive. Pepper your answers with descriptive words. Don’t forget that a good portion of the TV audience may not be actually watching their TV; they could be getting ready for work, watching their kids or making dinner. So appeal to their senses and help paint a picture with your words.

8) If you stumble, stutter, or slip-up during an interview, forget about it and move on. Don’t dwell on your mistakes. Don’t get flustered. Even the most experienced news anchors flub a line from time to time. It’s best to just move on instead of drawing attention to it. However, if you’ve said something that is factually incorrect, address it immediately and say something such as, “what I meant to say was…” The bottom line is stay on message and you’ll be fine – the audience understands that everybody makes mistakes.

9) Get to the point. Don’t ramble endlessly. You’ll lose your audience with long-winded answers that go on and on. We’ve all struggled to stay awake during speeches or lectures that seemed to last forever. But, in this case, viewers will simply change the channel – at which point you’ve lost a great opportunity to promote your product!

10) Convey appropriate emotions. If you’re talking about a serious topic such as cancer, terrorism or mortgage foreclosures, you shouldn’t be grinning. Likewise, if your topic is light-hearted, smile and don’t be afraid to share a chuckle with the host. Haven’t we all seen someone on TV whose facial expressions don’t match the nature of the subject? It’s disconcerting for viewers and it makes you look disingenuous.

This is key for the “likeability factor”! …and the list goes on, but this is a great start! Always remember that your intention for every interview is to enlighten the listening audience about your product or service and interest them in purchasing it. And, what happens if you’re successful? Well you may not only be invited back as an “expert” guest, but you could also drive demand into the stores where, let’s be honest, you would rather your customers be parked instead of in front of the tube!

Promotional Gifts for Her

When using promotional gifts as part of your marketing strategy it is important to target the items at the market you want to attract. If you are targeting women in particular the impact of your items will be enhanced if you choose gender-specific gifts. However, great care must be taken not to imply gender stereotyping, especially in the work place. Picking the right items to distribute to women can greatly enhance your sales as well as boost the image of your company in the eyes of your female market.

Finding promotional gifts that are gender specific without showing gender bias is tricky. Cooking utensils and household appliances are out – no modern woman likes to feel like she can be targeted through her domestic chores. If you are going for a mass market pick gifts that every woman might want, such as incense sticks in holders or wooden box sets full of different flavors of incense. These little gifts can only cost you a few dollars each to have made and distributed, and they are always appreciated.

Vanity kits and beauty hampers always make great promotional gifts to give out to women. It is important to choose high value items, as cheap products in a cheap packaging send out the message that your company does not value its female customers very highly. When in doubt an attractive, high quality case for beauty products goes a lot further for the money you will have to spend than high quality products. Pick a variety of products such as bath lotion, bath salts, moisturizers and scented soaps. Avoid perfumes unless you are prepared to spend a good deal of money on your gifts, because nobody likes cheap perfume.

If you are going for a slightly higher profile client than the average woman-in-the-street, it is a good idea to take the beauty or vanity case idea to the next level. You can easily find stylish handcrafted wooden vanity cases that can hold all manner of cosmetics and jewelry for under $200 each. These make excellent promotional gifts to give to corporate clients or as appreciation awards for your staff. When in doubt always go for the more expensive item – your marketing budget can never be too big!

When distributing promotional gifts for women it is always a good idea to time the distribution to go along with a day that makes women feel connected with their femininity. Women’s Rights day is an excellent time to give out gifts that make women feel special, and making women feel special is an excellent way of getting their business! On days like these women are fare more receptive to suggestions about their femininity and will take well to gifts that make them feel appreciated as a woman.

It is well documented that women respond better to promotional gifts than men do, so it always pays to research your project well before you decide on which items to choose. Always try to find an item or product that is somehow related to your company. If this is not possible, try to find the most generic promotional gifts for women you can find, but remember never to break the gender-stereotype rule!
