At 11:15 am, presentations will be made to Abbott and Bryant Scholarship recipients. Following the presentations, there will be a pig roast for attendees. The Annual Meeting of the New Hampshire Council of Deliberation, the state’s governing body for Scottish Rite, will be held in Nashua on Sat, June 4. Registration starts at 8 am, and the Council opens at 9 am. Lunch will be served after business is concluded.
The Council of Deliberation is composed of the state’s Active, Active Emeriti, and Honorary Members of the Supreme Council; the first three elected officers of the state’s Scottish Rite Bodies; along with the Past Presiding Officers of New Hampshire Consistory; the state’s four Chapters of Rose Croix, five Councils of Princes of Jerusalem; and five Lodges of Perfection; NH’s recipients of the Meritorious Service Award; as well as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Subordinate Bodies.
All Scottish Rite members are invited to attend. It is the duty of the first three officers, together with those designated as members of the Council, with the treasurers and secretaries of all subordinated bodies, to attend the meetings of the Council and to assist in promoting the welfare of the Rite.

Regular Convocation – A Regular Convocation of Aaron P. Hughes, Lodge of Perfection, 14°; Oriental Council, Princes of Jerusalem, 16°; and St. George Chapter of Rose Croix, 18°; A.A.S.R. will be jointly held in the Masonic Temple, 200A Main St, Nashua, New Hampshire on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 7:30 o’clock p.m.
Regular Rendezvous – A regular Rendezvous of the New Hampshire Consistory, S.P.R.S., 32° will be held jointly with the Convocations.
Business will include the recommendations of the Finance Committee for dues increases, the election and installation of officers in the Lodge of Perfection, Council, and Chapter, and all other business that may properly come before the bodies.
]]>There will be a pot luck supper at 6:00 p.m. prior to the meeting. After the conclusion of the degree work, a small collation will be offered to those in attendance.
All Scottish Rite Masons are invited and would be most welcomed.

The workshop is open to all Scottish Rite members so invite a friend to join you. Illustrious Mark C. Roth, 33°, Deputy for the State of NH, is planning a program of interest to all officers of the valleys.
Attendance is required for the top three officers, Treasurer and Secretary of each body. All current and past Valley officers, 33rd degree members, and all recipients of the Meritorious Service Award (MSA) are urged to attend and contribute to the discussion. Members of each valley Membership Committee should also plan to join us at the workshop.
Dress for meeting is Business casual (slacks & collared shirt) for all with no Jewels.

A joint effort between the Valley of Lancaster-Littleton and the Valley of Concord worked to perform an outstanding degree at the Consistory Reunion on November 2, 2013. Pictured above are most of the participants who were involved. Missing was David E. Lewis, who starred as Benjamin Franklin.
This was a great lead in for the 32nd Degree which followed afterwards. It shows that working together can accomplish great things!

On October 20, 2013, the Valley of Lancaster-Littleton celebrated the Feast of Tishri in semi-public forum. The Feast commemorates the celebration of the harvest, and is not done very often in New Hampshire in this format.
Dinner and refreshments were enjoyed by all. Eights toasts to respective leaders and brethren were given during the meal.
Following, everyone adjourned to the Lodge Room to witness the skit of Seven Baskets of Thanksgiving which was done by the brethren pictured. The baskets were given to seven lucky winners, then guest speaker David A. Rich, Deputy Master of the Lodge of Perfection, addressed the audience.
We were fortunate enough to have several ladies and children among the brethren, some of which were very young. It was pleasant to witness the exuberance of the youth keeping some of us even more entertained.
Our Illustrious Deputy, Brother Mark C. Roth, 33rd Degree and Active Member of the Supreme Council gave closing comments which were enjoyed by all.

]]>We are offering an accelerated 32nd Degree class this fall, culminating with the 32nd Degree in Penacook on November 2.
The Valley will exemplify the 4th and 15th Degrees on Saturday October 19th. Candidates Report and Coffee is served at 8:30 a.m.
All five Scottish Rite Valley’s in New Hampshire will assemble in Penacook for Consistory Degrees including the 25th AKA “The Ben Franklin Degree” .

A dinner will be served with the traditional toasting and a short skit performed. On Wednesday May 22, 2013, the Annual Meeting of the Valley of Lancaster-Littleton was held and the above Brethren were installed into Office. Brother David S. Collins, 32o (center) is the new Thrice Potent Master of North Star Lodge of Perfection. Brother Mark H. Blodgett, 32o (right) is the new Sovereign Prince of Washington Council Princes of Jerusalem and Brother David A. Rich, 32o (left) is the new Most Wise Master of the Littleton Chapter of Rose Croix.
The Officers were installed by Ill. Brothers Richard W. Elliott, 33o and Deputy for the State of NH, Ill. Brother Mark C. Roth, 33o and Active Member for the State of NH and Ill. Brother Robert E. Our Valley is very lucky to have brethren like you that not only support the Scottish Rite but continue to play pivotal roles in your respective blue lodges.

]]>We reviewed a number of areas including membership services, finance and communication. This exercise was designed as a discussion starting point. As a result of our meeting we will continue and expand our on-line presence.
Additionally, at upcoming Executive Board meetings we will look to add more dates to the calendar; Fellowship in the Lodge and outside of it is desired. Look for informational/educational workshops, business networking opportunities, watch a Word Series game, dinner and theater night, strictly social events both in town and out, and membership dinners to answer that question: What is the Scottish Rite and what do I get from joining?
The result of last nights meeting is that we are determined to create and demonstrate the value behind the meaning of the word “Fraternity”
Exciting times lay ahead. Be active and share your thoughts; it’s your fraternity. You will determine the direction this great craft moves. The only bad idea is the one never expressed.
