Wow this year has flown by quickly and we could not have made it without the dedication and hard work of the Staff and Faculty at Emerson School.
To show our appreciation, we would like to put together a week-long lunchtime bounty.

We’ll need lunch items and dining ware for each day and the Korean families have already offered to sponsor for Friday!!!

Here are some daily theme suggestions:

Monday – Latin Fiesta
Tuesday – Mambo Italiano
Wednesday – Southern Comfort Foods… Just like My Momma Used to Make!
Thursday – Middle Eastern
Friday – Korean Day

We’ll need lunch items and dining ware for each day.  We also are in need of volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up.

Parents– please make sure you have enough orange slices and napkins for each child in your class.  We only want orange slices to eat.  We also need water bottles for each student. In the past, BWP donated water to us, but have discontinued that program. Please fill in your name next to the teacher’s name below and respond to this email if you can help.

We’ll of course need help during the event. There are fun things to do!  Spray down participants with water, document the laps for the participants, prep the snack table for the students etc.

This is a great event and fun FUN FUN!

Oranges are on Sale for .49 lb at Henry’s

The deadline for submitting photos is drawing near – last day is March 30.  Many photos have been sent in for school events, but I have very few photos for the individual grades/classrooms, especially fifth grade. 

5th grade parents:  A special section is reserved for your children, so please send in those photos. 

Other photos that I would like to receive are:

• field trip photos – all grades/classrooms
• photos of faculty/staff. 

Remember, the yearbook is only as good as the photos that are sent in, so look through your cameras, upload those winning shots, and send them in. 

 Some things to remember:

• Please make sure that the photos you send in are school-related (ie. photos of your child with mom/dad, or other relatives; or photos taken at home will most likely not be used).
• The software system for the yearbook will not allow for any photos that are too low in resolution (including photos taken from cel phones), or those that are too large (over 3000 kb). 

Here is how you can submit photos online:
   • Go to: https://images.memoryebooks.com/login
   • If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 400055860 and password: Waldo
   • Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
   • Enter information about the photo including the event and grade (ex. Halloween Fair, 4th Grade).  You can also provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
   • Click “Save Details”.
 As always, you can also submit pictures by e-mailing them to EmersonYearbook@gmail.com.

Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.

The Emerson Nurse’s office is in urgent need of new boys underwear, sizes 6/8 and 10/12.  We are asking for donations of new, unopened packages of boys underwear.

Please bring them by the nurse’s office.
