Egypt Tourist Authority – Corporate Brand Logos

The new logo redesign for Egypt Tourist Authority is far more impressive than the old logo design. The refreshing blue color of the logo gives watercolor impression. It bears a catchy tag ‘where it all begins’. Overall it’s a great logo redesign.

Bank of Taipei – Corporate Brand Logos

Bank of Taipei logo design got its corporate identity rebranding recently. The new logo design is in blue colors. The new logo design contains a white negative space square in between four blue circles, inspired by the flower in the flag of Taipei. Chermayeff & Geismar have designed this logo, the company that designed some famous logos such as Mobil and NBC logo fame.

Argos – Corporate Brand Logos

The new logo for Argos contains a simple upside down arch that depicts a broad smile. The red and white color theme is still there but overturned. The Argos logo redesign looks better than the old logo.

Scribd – Corporate Brand LogosThe old Scribd logo design had all the rainbow colors to it; some people compared it to ‘Google’s multi colored logo. The logo redesign for Scribd contains Wordmark in simple black colored Archeresque typeface font with a light blue full stop. The new Scribd logo design looks more of a serious kind.

EURO 2012 – Corporate Brand Logos

The logo design for EURO 2012 is given an individual identity. The two flowers represent each of co-host countries. The traditional paper cutting artwork of Ukraine and Poland has been used as an element on the EURO 2012 logo design. This logo design colors taken are totally nature-inspired, with green, sky blue, yellow, aqua blue and blackberry purple.

Library of Congress – Corporate Brand Logos

Library of Congress logo got its logo redesigned recently. The Trajan typography font used, the logo is in shape of a blue stripe flag flying and a book at the same time. The flag in the logo design portrays true American spirit.

The Cousins Sub redesign does not have a radical alteration on its original sub shaped logo. The new logo design has a certain roundness added to the sub shaped logo. The typeface font has slightly thickened and appears to be somewhat a variation of Neutral text bold, Avenir, Nobel, Gotham, etc. type font. The color green has been added to the bright Yellow theme.

Visa Net Brasil – Corporate Brand Logos

Visa net Brasil got a logo redesign and rebranding lately. As you can see its new logo completely differs from the old logo. The Museo logo font is of circular shapes giving the logo well rounded shape.

Bausch & Lomb – Corporate Brand Logos

The new Bausch & Lomb logo has been redesigned to ‘Bausch + Lomb’. The new logo is still in the corporate Blue and Green color. The transparency in this logo depicts their company’s liquid solutions products. The new Bausch + Lomb logotype is set a proprietary font called Nobel BL, based on Nobel.

Batelco – Corporate Brand Logos

Batelco logo needed to re-brand its corporate identity, the originally logo was designed by Landor in 2003 and the new logo design is by Future brand. The new wordmark logo is in red and black and looks great and is solid.

Arabic logo design technique comes directly from the Middle East region, but American and European designers are also adopting it. Many Corporate businesses have had their brand logos designed in Arabesque or Arabic logo style. Arabic calligraphy is considered a true art form. One of the defining characteristics of Arabesque calligraphy is the thick down stroke and thin upstrokes amidst gradation used in the logo designs. These types of logos not only depict the stunning essence of the Middle East but also consist of symbolic and calligraphic designs collectively.

You must have noticed over the past few years the conventional Arabic logos have been effectively incorporated with the design elements of western graphic design, molding into a distinctive and contemporary look.

This first logo featured below is for a residential development called Equestrian City in Bahrain. The logo reveals the local Arab heritage in addition to being upscale and elegant.

This logo has been created in the style of the Arabic zoomorphic calligraphy. If you look closely you will see that the Arabic script that read equestrian city is shaped in the head of a horse.

Arabesque calligraphy has made its impact on the logo design world and is being used by a number of corporate companies as their identity logo. A few may agree and the other half might not but looking at these above designs one can surely say that it is being used by all types of companies worldwide.

When I think about the world’s best coffee company in the global market, the name ‘Starbucks Coffee’ pops up in my mind. Then I wonder, “Who is second best in this business?”

It is Caribou Coffee indeed! Caribou Coffee got its corporate logo rebranding recently. I must say the Caribou logo redesign is fabulous and so is the rebranding of its corporate identity. Its stores are displaying not only a new logo design, but also new cup and napkin designs too. The new Caribou coffee logo confines the true spirit and enthusiasm of the Caribou brand to its core.

I must say that the new logo design of Caribou Coffee has not lost its original design theme. The new logo has the same animal as its central logo design idea. The leaping Caribou has changed its direction towards the future in the new logo, it was previously leaping in the left and now it is going towards the right.

The caribou is formed of coffee beans in dark brown, which depicts the coffee color, the light blue background shield element inspired by the traditional National Park signage and it works amazingly well in the new logo as well. The antlers of the Caribou in the logo form a “C”.

The new logo consists of handwritten typography font “Caribou” in brown and “Coffee” in blue in the logo and its packaging as well, along with these small unconventional messages and scribbles on the coffee glass and napkins.  The new color light blue and brown combination helps Caribou coffee brands distinguish itself from Starbucks coffee logo.

Nonetheless, Caribou Coffee logo needed rejuvenation and for sure, this corporate logo rebranding and logo redesigning has made it more stimulating and refreshing.

MIRA Foundation Negative Space Logo Design

The MIRA Foundation logo, made by designer Paul Gauthier, illustrates the harmonious connection between human and dog. This logo incorporates two kinds of faces, two dogs in negative space and a human face in white space. The Mira Foundation’s logo has received around twenty awards.

Nexcite is to be the most loved Mood enhancing Energy Drink of Australia; it has been especially designed for women. The white space in the logo is heart shaped in between the running rabbit’s legs. The rabbit represents energy and vitality youth.

What do you see, a vase or two human faces? The above design is a classic example of negative space. This design can be termed as a brain-teaser where depending on how you look you see either a vase or two faces. It becomes very evident when the image is reversed.

Push the Bottle logo has a unique bottle design, which illustrates a hand with its index finger pointing to press button. I find this logo quite distinctive.

NBC Negative Space logo design

The current NBC logo is considered as a Classic example of effective use of negative space in a logo design. The brand logo designers Chermayeff and Geismar took the peacock, which had already become a widely recognized symbol for NBC network, and cut down it with the use of negative space.

Tell Tales Restaurant Negative Space logo design

The above tell ‘Tell Tales Restaurant’ logo has a reindeer and two ‘T’s visible, at your first glimpse. Yet, if one looks closely at the white space in between the reindeer’s antlers, you will see a goose and a fish in it. Single color brilliant use of negative space. How creative!

‘Share our Strength’ Logo is for national organization for children for hunger suppression. The white space contains an eaten apple in red color with two faces of parent and child outlined linking it to its organization purpose.
