A few steps from our hotel we found Kalui restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Puerto Princesa. Upon entrance, one of their friendly staffs greeted and told us that footwears should be left outside before entering the main dining area. Our footwears were securely put in one basket. The restaurant was a native wooden house; the floor is clean and well polished so you wouldn&#8217;t mind walking barefooted inside. Everything on the menu were vegetables and seafood&#8217;s like seaweed, shrimp, squid, grilled tuna.</p>
<p><strong><em> <a href="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg" target="_blank"><img data-attachment-id="222" data-permalink="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/2011/08/31/palawan/kalui-appetizer/" data-orig-file="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg" data-orig-size="250,175" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Kalui Appetizer" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg?w=250" data-large-file="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg?w=250" class="alignleft size-full wp-image-222" title="Kalui Appetizer" src="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg?w=690" alt="" srcset="https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg 250w, https://exploringphilippines.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/kalui-appetizer.jpg?w=150&amp;h=105 150w" sizes="(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px" /></a></em></strong>Their unique dessert put in coconut shelf which included pineapple, papaya and banana with muscovado sugar.</p>
<p>After our lunch we ready ourselves to the city tour. Our team enjoyed exploring the city of Puerto Princesa. We visited the Puerto Princesa Bay and we went shopping to buy some local products and foods. Cashew Nuts, Polvorone and a variety of Banana chips made were the best. Moving on to our city tour, among the exciting places to visit were the Palawan Crocodile farms (were in they serve a Crocodile Sisig and Crocodile Sausage), The Mitra’s House and The Baker’s Hill.</p>

It&#8217;s even nominated in the 7 Wonders of Nature. The Underground River is measured 8.2 KM long and it is easily navigable up to 4.3 KM where it remains to be the longest navigable underground river in the world.</p>
