Basically we are experiencing a huge shift in the collective consciousness. People are becoming aware of their lives, and try to discover the Truth.

I like the idea of Bernard Lietaer (“New World New Money”) who believes that we are shifting from the worship of male archetypes of a King, Magician and Hero to the worship of the female powers, of Mother archetype. The recent millennia brought the mankind to such an extreme of the ego-trip, competition and grid, that the pendal will have to naturally shift to the opposite. The people will come to the idea of the common good being driven by the cooperation, understanding, sharing and giving. Even if this sounds like a dream, believe me, we are heading there…because it is the law of polarity, the law of evolution!

There is an old Indian prediction about the advent of Kalki, the last spiritual incarnation. And it said that this incarnation will be not a single person, but a collective body of all enlightened people.

Interestingly we can observe a rise of civil activity in many countries. It looks like people are getting conscious about what is wrong with their lives, with the current economic and political system. They consciously want to change it! It looks like a very good sign of change.

So far, most of all revolutions have been “paid off” from the outside, even the October 1917 Revolution in Russia. Now we live in the interesting times when suddenly people are willing to do something, because they are motivated from within.

This is how things can truly change.

I am sure we all agree that the solution of all word problems is LOVE. Just imagine, how we would live if we would act merely out of pure love? Right, this world would be the paradise!

And what is the opposite of love? – FEAR!

Fear is the source of all problems, really all of them. The fear of loss of food shelter, health, wealth,and, ultimately, love.

That fear is the substance which tries to rule the world. I would not say it rules the world, but it always tries…Sometimes more, sometimes less successful.

How creates that fear? We would probably never find out.

But what we can really do is release ourselves, and this is only possible if we will learn to love, ourselves and others.

When Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi started to practice law in South Africa as a young barrister in the 1890s, he was confronted with glaring racial discrimination as well as various other injustices. It was then that he began to develop his satyagraha philosophy of nonviolence, through which he would later lead India to independence. Perhaps the most profound influence on Gandhi at this time were the ideas and living example of the Russian author Leo Tolstoy who, in the last year of his life, became Gandhi’s mentor on nonviolence.

During an interview in London with Evelyn Wrench, the editor of The Spectator, Gandhi was asked, “Did any book ever affect you supremely and was there any turning point in your life?” Gandhi replied that he changed the whole plan of his life after reading Ruskin’s Unto This Last, adding that “Tolstoy I had read much earlier. He affected the inner being.” Gandhi’s chief biographer and secretary in later life, Pyarelal, claims that so deeply was Gandhi’s thinking “impregnated with Tolstoy’s that the changes that took place in his way of life and thinking in the years that followed [his reading of Tolstoy] can be correctly understood and appreciated only in the context of the master’s life and philosophy.”

When, late in his life, his inner conflicts became unbearable, Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, the great Russian novelist, gave his estate to his family, disposed of much of his personal belongings and attempted to live the life of a poor and celibate peasant. In this attempt to put his personal philosophy into practice, he denounced authority and all violence, and became a vegetarian. His Christian anarchist life and moral and religious writings were to influence many people–not least of whom was the young Gandhi.

Search for Truth

A year after he landed in South Africa [in 1893, aged 24], Gandhi went through a time of religious ferment, engaging in wide-ranging religious discussions and reading eclectically among the religious texts that came his way. One of these texts was Tolstoy’s book on living an authentic Christian life. Gandhi commented: “Tolstoy’s The Kingdom of God is Within Youoverwhelmed me. It left an abiding impression on me. Before the independent thinking, profound morality, and the truthfulness of this book, all the books given me by Mr. Coates seemed to pale into insignificance.” In that book, subtitled Christianity not as a Mystical Doctrine but as a New Understanding of Life, Tolstoy portrayed Christ as a teacher and moral example rather than as “a divine savior atoning for the sins of mankind and offering eternal life.” Here Tolstoy emphasizes the law of love as the moral core of Christianity and accuses the majority of Christians of not acknowledging “the law of non-resistance to evil by violence” which he sees as being at the central core of faith.

This in no way contradicted Gandhi’s growing understanding of his own Hindu faith. Further, from his reading of Tolstoy, Gandhi realized that the best way to help the poor was to get off their backs and practice “bread labor,” “the divine law that man must earn his bread by laboring with his own hands,” which was to be central to his economic and social philosophy. When, in 1908 and 1909, Gandhi started his regular rounds of imprisonment as part of his political campaigns, Tolstoy’s book was a constant companion. And when, with the assistance of another Tolstoyan, his close friend Hermann Kallenbach, Gandhi established his next community in 1910, it was called Tolstoy Farm and was to be run on Tolstoyan principles.

As Gandhi’s nonviolent political activities were becoming known outside South Africa, some revolutionaries saw campaigns such as his as doomed to failure and worse. The Vancouver-based Bengali revolutionary Taraknath Das, who edited the insurrectionary underground journal Free Hindustan, was attacking Indian moderates who were in favor of the gradual attainment of self-government achieved with the agreement of the British rulers. In May 1908, Das wrote to Tolstoy as a great champion of the oppressed, asking the Count to contribute an article to his journal and, in effect, to bless the true revolutionaries, like himself, who could deliver the goods. Tolstoy’s reply, titled “Letter to a Hindoo,” made it clear that he saw nonviolence as the only legitimate means available to the morally upright conscience and accused Das of repeating “the amazing stupidity indoctrinated in you by the advocates of the use of violence . . . your European teachers” and instructed him and his fellow travelers to “Free your minds from those overgrown, mountainous imbecilities which hinder your recognition of [the law of love], and at once the truth will emerge from amid the pseudo-religious nonsense that has been smothering it.” The appropriate way of struggle was not violence but a rejection of state administration: a refusal to use the courts, pay taxes or serve in the army. Such sentiments would become music to Gandhi’s ears.

Gandhi came across a typed copy of “Letter to a Hindoo” in London on his 1909 visit to lobby for the interests of South African Indians. At the beginning of October 1909, he wrote his first letter to Tolstoy. This led to a close and mutually admiring correspondence that lasted until Tolstoy’s death on November 20, 1910.

Just a few months before he died, in the last long letter he was to pen, Tolstoy wrote to Gandhi commenting on how important his work in the Transvaal was in providing practical proof of the law of love in action. And in turn, over 30 years later, Gandhi was able to state:

“Russia gave me in Tolstoi, a teacher who furnished a reasoned basis for my nonviolence. He blessed my movement in South Africa when it was still in its infancy and of whose wonderful possibilities I had yet to learn. It was he who had prophesied in his letter to me that I was leading a movement which was destined to bring a message of hope to the downtrodden people of the earth.”

A Model of Conviction

During a speech at Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram on September 10, 1928, to mark the birth centenary of Tolstoy, Gandhi reminisced about the impact of The Kingdom of God is Within You, and recounted its message:

“The title means that God’s Kingdom is in our heart, that if we search for it outside, we shall find it nowhere. I read the book 40 years ago. At that time, I was skeptical about many things and sometimes entertained atheistic ideas. When I went to England, I was a votary of violence, I had faith in it and none in nonviolence. After I read this book, that lack of faith in nonviolence vanished.”

On the effect of Tolstoy’s life on him, he added:

“I attach importance to two things in his life. He did what he preached. His simplicity was extraordinary; it was not merely outward; outward simplicity of course he had. Though he was born in an aristocratic family and had all the good things of life to enjoy, had at his disposal all that wealth and possessions could give a man, he changed the direction of his life’s voyage in the prime of youth. Though he had enjoyed all the pleasures and tasted all the sweetness which life can offer, the moment he realized the futility of that way of life, he turned his back on it, and he remained firm in his new convictions till the end of his life. I have, therefore, stated . . . that Tolstoy was the very embodiment of truth in this age. He strove uncompromisingly to follow truth as he saw it, making no attempt to conceal or dilute what he believed to be the truth. He stated what he felt to be the truth without caring whether it would hurt or please the people or whether it would be welcome to the mighty emperor. Tolstoy was a great advocate of nonviolence in his age.”

Everyone who knows me in person can admit that I am a positive and optimistic person. And I am, indeed. At the same time I am a careful observer of the mankind`s collective consciousness. And this is what I want to share with you today.
Dear people, now when we watch some absurd and dramatic escalation of conflicts in various parts of the world, as well as the world economy crisis which never ends… we should prepare ourselves that it will get worse. And worse. And worse.
Sorry to tell you, our life will not get better soon.

Unless and until we make a shift in consciousness, all together. Or at least the first 13 % as per innovation law.
The night it at it darkest before the sunrise and I guess we all know that from our private life experience.
However we do not need to wait untill it gets too dark – in the meanwhile we could search for solutions, and first of all in our minds and hearts, not in the politics.

There is one interesting research in the field of Knowledge Management :The article “Stuff or Love? How metaphors direct our efforts to manage knowledge in organisations”

where the researcher first compares Knowledge to water and what people can do with it, using as water. And then he compares knowledge to LOVE and people realize that then it’s a completely different approach! For love cannot be waisted like water and does not get less, only more with sharing. It is a different view which changes the whole attitidue, isn`t it?

This is what we can contribute for the better future now: to question all our modern values, economical systems, relationships – if it does not work may be we should find a System which works?

The shift will happen, we only need to reach some critical mass of new awareness.

Let’s work on it.

The Bible tells of the first meeting of all the disciples with the Virgin Mary after the Crucifixion. The closed room
they met in “was filled with a great wind, and there appeared above their heads, as it
were, separate tongues of fire, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost.” This is a
description of a vision of Kundalini.

Various Chinese philosophers have also described the Kundalini in their writings, and Greek mythology catalogued the same Gods and
Goddesses.

The Zen Buddhist religion teaches very clearly that the basis of Buddhist meditation is the science of Kundalini.
The name ‘Kundalini’ was bestowed by Indian sages. God has never given a name
to anything He has created.

It is the feminine form of the word ‘Kunda’ which means ‘rings’
or ‘coils’ in Sanskrit. Although written in secretive language, the description of Kundalini in
those ancient scriptures is easily intelligible to a Sahaja Yogi. Realized souls can visualize
and understand the subtle implication behind the meanings of gross sentences. It is high
time people compiled and organized the scattered descriptions about Kundalini from all
these great scriptures. It would be enlightening to the religious followers of all these sects
to understand that in every religion, the flame of truth burns on the wick of Kundalini.

She is a universal identity in every human being.

I suddenly found out one interesting awareness trend. The system-critics, the growing number of those fed up with the existing economic system come to a conclusion that the change has to come from the values first. More and more of such intellectuals realize that a spiritual transformation should happen before any serious system change can take place.

At the same time people coming from another lot – so called spiritual people – slowly arrive to the conclusion that no amount of spriutal heights and bliss compensate the cognitive dissonance of living in the capitalistic system which exists due to exploiting the weaknesses of human beings. The people of Spirit are suffocating in the System which kills the joy. The want not only the spritual but also  – parallel to it – a benevolent economic system, preferably without money.

Bingo! We seem to have arrived at the point when financial analytics and all kind of yoga-meditaiton practitioners, being the avantgarde of the society, realize the need of both spiritual and economic transformation.

When two ends meet… something new can emerge!

I observe how the fast growing community of alternative-economy developers is inspiring the hearts and minds of the population. Can we possibly develop and carry out Spiritual Economics? Will it happen in our lifetime? May be not, but it is great to be part of this breathtaking movement, we have to start somethere.

Unfortunately the situation in Ukraine is getting worse, and it looks like a war is about to start…But I cannot get rid of a feeling that it is all being made of and conducted between USA and Russia, according to some prior agreement. At the surface it looks different, but while trying to get a bigger picture, this is what comes up for me.

Recently one high rank Austrian banker told me “After all…we had no war since 60 years! So much money has been printed, so many weapons produced…the world economy is stagnating…it needs a way out”. How brutal it may sound, but a war brings an economic boost.This is probably what the politicians think of.

But of course I have no idea what the real reason is (Who can actually have any? The true backgrounds are mystery anyways)…and of course my only heart desire and everyday prayer goes to Ukraine, that a war will NOT take place. And lots of people do the same, I know!

A philosophical question which bothers me about this situation is of another kind.

Since the 1970 there was a strong feeling in the world that people, more than ever in the human history are discovering their inner Self, getting to Spirituality. It looks like a global transformation is taking place…And a question comes up….Have the Earthlings not evolved since the last World War? Have they not become better, more satisfied, more knowledgeable, advanced compared to their ancestors? For instance, even on the material level, according to life standards the world population had the best life ever in 2013, .

All that gives an idea that probably we have evolved at least a bit, we are different now!  – The recent happenings show however that such mental techniques as propaganda, no matter on which side, are able to brainwash almost any deep and intellectual soul. The situation around Ukraine shows how badly people are falling into that trap despite all their seeking, evolvement, working on themselfes…That’s shoking!

Does it mean, the world will never change? It is that unless and untill everyone has even a single drop of hate in the heart, the danger of a war is always there?

I do hope it will, but so far I cannot see it. Probably it’s still a long way to go.

Since I am Russian and my beloved husband is Ukrainian, the story of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict around Crimea and more has a lot been in my attention. And because I have no TV at home and read Internet very selectively I could more or less survive the information war. But even if I try to minimise the information flow by getting possibly the first-hand impressions and facts from the people involved, I am still getting a lot of buzz from the world Russian-Ukrainian community…. It is really hard to stay cool!

However the hardship of the situation helped me to learn two great lessons. And I hope many more people will be able to see it in the same way.

1. THE TRUTH CANNOT BE SEEN IMMEDIATELY.

This is something we learn throughout the history of humanity but obviously always forget when something happens: We are not able to find out all the reasons, all the real players and all real facts about any historical happening unless and until some time passes. The amount of totally useless thoughts in the heads of people trying to analyze the reasons and forecast the develop of the situation around Ukraine and Russia is terrifying. The heads are overheated and people keep on this nonsensical reactions. The truth is   – we will not be able to see the Truth right now. It is much more importatnt to keep a cool head and a good meditative state, and to point out the attention to the overall benevolence.

2.A SPIRITUAL PERSON SHOULD GO BEYOND THE COUNTRY-IDENTIFICATION.

The current situation shows dramatically what huge damage to a personal development can identification with one’s nation of origin bring. Many people whom I knew as nice and spiritual, suddenly went mad about being Ukrainians or Russians, really hating the other side and some even breaking their friendships with “the enemy”. How horrible is that?!? Horrible and very sad to observe. Doest it mean all our talks and beliefs in some kind of spiritual development are mere self-illusions? This current test shows where we really stand.

It seems to me that even though in the 20th century some patriotic movements did good to some countries, we live in a different time now. What I can conclude from the current Russian-Ukrainian issue, the patriotism is only contra-productive, bringing bitter division and hate. I believe that people who consider themselves sensible, good-hearted and wise should really go beyond this false identification. It is time to become one, to accept and love people regardless their place of birth. It would be great if one day the whole of mankind would realize that. But if the spiritual people will not come to it, the rest will never come.

Let us go deeper in ourselves and honestly ask ourselves what our patriotism gives us except of an Ego? Let us go beyond, let us become one.

Back in 2007 I wrote a post called “ A Woman with fatherly love” where I described the demanding nature of my love. I would love people but not unconditionally, I had only one but serious condition: a person must be willing to grow. At that time I also realised that I totally lack compassion and I thought this would be a life-long task for me to work it out.

However the beauty of a personal growth is such that things develop even without any special attention on that. Never ever have I done any special treatment to training for compassion. I was convinced that is something too deep to be able to train. At some point I realised that I managed to obtain it! Recently I noticed that my attitude to people has changed a lot. I started loving people unconditionally, regardless their depth or desire to grow. Just excepting any one as he/she is. My fatherly love was transformed into the motherly love, almost unknowingly for myself…

Obvisouly the reason of me physically becoming a mother has contributed a lot to that, but I think it started even earlier. May be it is the wisdom and maturity which a person gains with years…Whatever it is, I am so grateful I can experience and enjoy that tremendous unconditional love!
