I’m getting more excited as the time to go gets closer. I am just really looking forward to leaving technology and such behind and just focusing on connecting with my husband. Things have been different lately and we just need to get back to caring about eachother and not our phones or the TV. I know I don’t post here much or tweet really but that doesn’t mean I’m not always on it reading everyone elses stuff.

Saturday night we went to the Office to see Granger Smith. It was so much fun. I got all prettied up and even curled my hair but of course it fell flat within minutes.

We had a lot of fun with my friend Morgan and her boyfriend. Many drinks were had by all and Joe and I even did a little two stepping.

two. being a vegetarian is awesome!! lol but really I don’t miss meat at all, except occasionally I crave a big sandwich but I can still make them sans meat. I still eat fish, though. It hasn’t caused me to lose any weight but I think that has more to do with my portions & overeating. Which leads me to…

three. I’m currently reading a book called The Weigh Down Diet. I love it. I love everything it’s about. Reading your hunger signals, turning to God to feed your heart. It’s amazing and that coupled with cellan is really helping me drop the LBs. I’m down about 6 pounds currently and plan to hopefully ramp it up next week with some exercise.

four. I’m watching the Hills over again. and seriously trust fund kids make me want to pull my hair out. Except Lauren, I love her.

five. I’m still loving my bangs BUT I cannot for the life of me style my hair like the girl at the salon did. It’s just so FLAT around my face and I don’t feel like it looks good. WAH! I don’t know how to get more volume.

I try not to beat myself up over things like this weekend. I’m still trying to lose weight but I’m also living. I rarely drink alcohol and even more rarely do I drink multiple drinks in one night like Saturday. But it was Cinco De Mayo. We were having a good time with friends and I definitely do not regret living.

I plan to lose two pounds this week. Putting my weight at 193.8. I really don’t want to post that number but I pride myself in being an honest person. So there it is.

Cinco De Drinko was lots of fun. We went to Ruby Tequilas to start out the night. Margaritas and delicious food plus a little live music. After that we met up with some friends and had drinks at Buffalo Wild Wings and watched some boxing fight. I had my first Vegas Bomb. It’s a shot and it was delicious! Afterwards Joe and I went home and watched movies before passing out. It was a really great night and I’m glad we got to get out and have a little fun.

I was watching a show the other night and the main character was having a hard time debating whether she should marry the man that she was engaged to and it made me think if I ever questioned if I should marry Joe. The answer? No. Sure after huge fights during our marriage I’ve thought “why the heck did I do this so young?” but the answer is always because I love him. Because he is the man that God has provided for me to share the rest of my life with. and not once during our dating relationship and beyond did I ever have to think about it. It came absolutely natural. We dated, we moved in together, we got engaged and then we got married.

I feel so blessed to have a husband who supports me without falter. Who calls me beautiful everyday. Who says, “I love you” constantly. He listens when I’m angry and holds me when I cry. He gives me high fives when I’m excited and would beat up anyone who hurt me. He always goes along with my crazy schemes.

I just can’t wait to share the next 50 years with Joe.. I love you babe.

We sold my car. The car that I have driven for nearly 7 years. It broke down a lot and it wasn’t the nicest car out there, but it got the job done. It took me to school everyday. To work every evening and to wayy too many parties. It was a little sad selling it but I am also so glad we sold it so easily. I had barely listed it on craigslist when I had 20 emails asking to come see it.
