This fall was arguably the prettiest fall we’ve had since moving to Denver 7 years ago. The oranges and yellows were simply breathtaking. The leaves couldn’t be more gold if they were photoshopped; and the weather has been more than spectacular. But as beautiful as it’s been, winter is still right around the corner. Fall reminds us of seasons of transition. As the leaves cover the ground, fall is a time for letting go and releasing things that have been a burden. Fall is the perfect time to practice getting out of the way and letting the Spirit take charge of our lives. (read more)

2015 Comes to a close

Merry Christmas! “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” God with us! As we approach the end of the year and reflect on the coming of Jesus, there is no more accurate way to describe how we have experienced God this year – God with us. (read more)

Those words by Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, captured my heart as a college student almost 20 years ago when I first considered “full-time” ministry as a vocation. Now, in my 17th year on staff with Cru, that same invitation to “come help change the world” continues to capture my heart. But something has changed. (read more)

INTENSE With the end of summer and the beginning of fall upon us, it’s inevitable as we connect with different people to ask each other how the summer was. For us, the word we inevitably go to when describing our summer is intense. Taking seminary intensive classes for four weeks, and ending with our biennial US National Staff Conference is not for the faint at heart. We are pleased to report that it was not just an intense summer, but an extremely rich summer for our hearts, our vision, and our ministry as we launch into the fall. (read more)
