Selanjutnya profesor mengambil sekotak pasir dan menebarkan ke dalam toples … Tentu saja pasir itu menutup segala sesuatunya. Toples terlihat sdh penuh. Profesor kemudian menuangkan dua cangkir kopi ke dalam toples, dan kopi tsb mengisi ruangan kosong di antara pasir.
