Meet Little G and Little C.  They were born early last Tuesday morning, May 14th, 2013 just 2 days shy of 37 weeks.

Little C was born at 12:45 am weighing 5lbs 2.oz and 18 inches long.

Little G was born at 1:37 am weighing 6lbs even and 19 inches long.

The babies are doing so very well.  Healthy and adjusting to life at home.  The first few nights were as to be expected, but they are sleeping longer and longer at night and such sweet content little guys.

PS: I will be posting the long birth story soon, when I have a  little time to sit and write down all the details.

* Just FYI, I generally don’t like to type the names of my children in a post as it is searchable that way.  So all the boys will be called Little C and Little G, Big W and Big H for the time being.

Well, I’ve made it this far, the babies can come NOW……  did you hear that little ones?  Now is the time.

Pregnancy is no joke people.  Those who just glide through and love every minute of it, I might just punch in the face.  SO, if that was you, keep it to yourself.  Ok?  Thanks.

Grumpy much?  Nah.

I haven’t posted an update in awhile, but around 34 weeks I was having lots and lots of contractions so I went to the hospital to be monitored.  The contractions weren’t causing dilation, which is good, but I was put on bed rest at home.  This really helped.   My contractions lessened majorly, my blood pressure went down, and I felt much better overall.  Though it is hard to not do stuff around the house especially with 2 high strung boys, but DT and my mom have been a huge help.

I feel everyday, every meal, will this be it?  Are they going to come?  Of course, the longer they are in, the better.  I keep saying that over and over in my head.  I keep watching the Baby Story on TLC and every women I see in labor I am wishing I was her or thinking maybe my body will see this and decide it is time now.

DT keeps saying I don’t think you can do this any longer, your belly won’t stretch anymore, you’re too miserable, you can’t sleep.  I tell him it is all about the babies, I will be fine, but it’s nice that at least he acknowledges how hard this is and so very worth the two babies in the end.

On other news, DT and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Monday, making our title as “newlyweds” a bit less relevant each year.  Maybe one day I will change the blog name.

I put off getting pictures taken long enough, I am officially 32 weeks along in these pictures and wow is time flying.  I wanted to take some special family maternity pictures and I think they turned out so great.  I will cherish these for a lifetime.

I know I say this every time, but I still can’t believe I am having twin boys again!  When will this sink in?

When they are 12?

I had a 29 weeks ultrasound and the babies are doing so very well.  Growing like little weeds and moving around like crazy.  That is my favorite part of pregnancy, watching, feeling, and seeing the babies move.  It’s like a little circus in there, they are constantly moving.

Baby B is measuring at 3 lbs. 1 oz., he is in the breech position and causing mommy some major heartburn. Because of his high head location between my breastbone it was nearly impossible to get a good picture of his face.

Time to flip head down little sweetheart.

Baby A is measuring slightly smaller at 2 lbs. 13 oz., but no cause for worry, he is still doing very well on the growth charts.  He is head down and the tech was able to get some amazing pictures of his face in 3D.

Just look at those pouty lips and the details of his face.  I love technology!

The day after the ultrasound my family and friends threw me a diaper shower.  It was so amazing.  Everything was so beautiful and it was so fun spending time with loved ones!!

The theme was baby boy owls.

How cute is this cake?  And it was seriously so delicious.  I am tempted to call the lady that made it and ask her for her recipe for the cake and icing.  So good.

I also had a massive diaper cake.  I unwrapped it the other day and  it was over 130 diapers.  I Will put those to use for sure.  My sweet sister in law took the time to make it and roll all those diapers.  She’s amazing.

Speaking of Christie, here she is with my little niece Claire.  Look how much she has grown.

Last weekend we had our garage sale, it was a major success, we sold so much stuff and made room for all the baby items DT got down from the attic.  I must of had some insight years ago as I was saving all these things so very meticulously.  So, now my job is to go through and start washing and cleaning everything for the babies, which seems to be coming so very fast.

This whole month of March is a crazy busy one, hopefully April will be slow and easy so I can rest up a bit.  Doubt it, but I can hope.

I am also starting to make freezer meals for after the babies are born.  I will be posting those as I make them.  I will just make a double recipe each week and eat one that day and save one in the freezer, seems simple enough,  and will feel good to stock my freezer.

Last Friday we had our 24 week ultrasound with Maternal Fetal Medicine.  I go to them every 4 weeks for a in-depth ultrasound and then an appointment with my regular OB, usually a week later.  They work together to give me and the babies the very best care possible.

The babies are growing fantastically, like singletons, so that’s very good. The doctors also now think that since the babies’ measurements are almost identical, and since I have a set of identical twins already, that these twins are most likely identical as well.

Baby A is measuring 1lb 7oz with a heartbeat of 141.    He is in vertex position (head down) and was facing my back so we couldn’t get a very good picture of his face or profile, this is the best one.

Baby B is breech with his head all the way up near the center of my ribcage (and boy can I feel him).  He was measuring 1lb 8 oz and heartbeat of 145.  The tech got several good pictures of him, since his positioning was so good.  We could also see him practicing swallowing.

The tech even got another 3d ultrasound of baby B.  If you look closely you can see his forehead, nose and lips.

The babies are very active and I can feel them moving almost all the time and all over the place, way high and way low.

Mom took this picture of me the other day at 24 weeks.  The babies are definitely out there.

DT, Mom, and I have been busy bees cleaning the office and making room for the babies.  We sold 2 couches, recliner, desk, and various other items we don’t have the room for anymore, and not to mention got rid of tons of clutter and have a massive garage sale planned in a few weeks.

We also got the boys bunk beds.  They are beyond excited about them.  H mainly sleeps on the top bunk and W loves the bottom bunk.

I love the way the bright colors turned out and matched the bedding as well.  We also found this rug at Target and I think it pulls everything together great.

The new babies’ room (old big boys’ room) is coming together nicely as well.

We (or mostly Mom) re-painted the room, trim, and touch-ups.  We kept it the same blue as before.

DT also set up one crib already, it’s starting to get real here folks.  If these babies come at the same time as the first set (35 weeks) we have just 10 weeks left, wow!

All we have left to do is to paint this dresser which doubles as a changing table.

We also left this sign on the wall, I think it fits nicely.

It’s hard to believe that in just a few short months I will be holding my new twin boys.

I am back to menu planning, oh how I have missed my organized household and kitchen.  Things have been crazy this pregnancy, between not feeling well and having no energy, we ate out lots, had more frozen pizza than I’d like to admit.  But I am so happy to be feeling better and back in the kitchen.

I am also couponing again!  Our stockpile was finally getting low so that’s become a fun new way to get save money and get some great deals too and stock up on diapers!!!

Last week we had our 20 weeks anatomy scan of the babies and we were able to get a clear view of both the babies, all parts.  And we are excited to say we are having TWO boys.

Yep, future mom of 4 boys here.  It’s crazy to say.

I am about 22 weeks along now and feeling really good, my belly is growing and heartburn is at full force, but other than that I am doing well.  I can feel the babies moving all the time, especially after meals and at bed time.  DT and the boys have also felt them move several times each and they love it.

The babies are doing extremely well.

Baby A weighed in at 11oz, all parts measured and were perfectly formed.  The 20 weeks anatomy scan is so very interesting they literally measure and check every part of the baby from the brain to the toes (which you could see too).

This one I like to call blowing smoke.

This is a 4d view of the baby A, you can see his chin, nose, head and shoulders, very neat.

Baby B our shy baby, was not hiding this round and we were able to confirm he is a boy for sure.  He measured in at 13 oz and was perfectly form and a wiggling, active little guy.

I love having ultrasounds I could look at the babies all day long.

We are also busy moving the rooms downsizing furniture and clutter and painting the rooms.  Hayden and Wyatt’s new room will now be the old office, the babies will have H&W old room, and our sun room will now be our new office.  I will be sure to post some pictures of the final products.  It’s nice seeing some progress happening and I know the rest of this pregnancy will just fly by.

Oh and I treated myself to a new hair style.  Cut about 6-7 inches, bangs and all over dark brown.    I am loving it!
