Customer Review: Canon Pixma iP4500 photo printer
I recommend this product. It was easy to set up and use within 15 minutes out of the box. I’m a serious amature photographer and this is the best printer for ease of use but especially for print QUALITY. I have owned HP Photosmart printers (2) and an Epson photo printer. All dedicated to photo print jobs. All high quality machines. All did a good job. I compared 2 photos on 3 different brands of paper with the same 2 photos that I had printed on my other printers. The first thing I noticed was that the prints (full 8 1/2 X 11) came out in about 5 seconds and they were dry. When I compared the prints, the Canon gave me slightly more vivid colors and finer detail. This Canon does a GREAT job. And the price is right; especially if you can purchase it on line. I give it 5 stars.

Customer Review: Very pleased with the printer
I have been very pleased with this printer. My old printer was a HP722C which was 8 years old. I had no problems with the setup other than there was one place the instructions were not very plain on just what they wished me to do next. However, I just read it over again and realized ther was only one way to go, and I did. The printing is, for my part, very good. And it is a fast printer. I am retired, and most of what I print is personal documents, and birthday cards, etc. The colors are good and the printer does duplex printing — it will print both sides of the page without my having to turn the paper around and re-enter it. Have not used it long enough to know how much ink it uses and how much it will cost to replinish. I would buy it again in a minute if I had to buy a second printer.

I got this product for 15 dollars and it wasn’t even worth that. The FM transmitter worked very well at first and it charged my iPod but after one use, IT BROKE! It’s very cheaply made and is terrible quality. If your looking for an FM radio transmitter and is hesitating between this one and another FM transmitter, let me help you out, DON’T BUY THIS ONE! Customer Review: If you are careful …
This was purchased for my son’s Zune as he did not have a means to charge his Zune directly from the AC outlet. Although it does charge the zune as advertised, it’s construction is questionable at best.

The metal strips (tangs) that plug into the wall socket have no strain relief on the interior of the white housing. After a couple of insertion/removal cycles into the AC outlets, one of the tangs pulled out of the housing rendering the device unusable. Upon inspection of the interior, it was observed that the rear of the tang was cold soldered to the wire that connected to the PCB. While I may be able to grind the surface of the tang to obtain a suitable surface on which I may re-solder the wire, I may just chose to wire a replacement AC cord directly to the PCB, preventing a repeat failure.

Good news is that the PCB is still functional even if the housing is not.

I’m not always one those people who rush out to get the newest technology even if it’s popular (I only do that some of the time). IPods in particular, and Mp3 players in general, have been around for a while now, but with the urging of my girlfriend (who seems to enjoy downloading Mp3’s as a sort of hobby)–I finally got around to getting a basic Mp3 player about six months ago (my girlfriend has a much fancier iPod).

The biggest benefit, for me, has been using my Mp3 player at the gym. I’ve gone to the gym for many years now. Like most people, I often find it dull and boring, especially if I’m on the exercise bike or treadmill. It’s amazing how much time goes faster when I’m listening to my favorite tunes while exercising.

Years ago, I tried carried a CD walkman to the gym, but I found it too cumbersome and didn’t bother with it for too long. Fortunately, technology has made things much smaller. I really underestimated how much of a difference it would make. Sometimes I even listen to motivational material or books on tape while working out. With the right music, I find I even push myself harder during my workouts (Rocky soundtracks for everyone!!).

Although I’ve meant to get one of these things for a while, my player has almost made my experience at the gym pleasurable. I would even go so far as to categorize my gym experience as pre-Mp3 and post-Mp3. Pre-Mp3 is like always having your stuffy boss hanging around in the office. Post-Mp3 is like having your boss out of the office–you still need to work, but somehow those days are better and more relaxed.

I’ve also realized that this little Mp3 player of mine has other benefits. I’ve used it many times to move all sorts of files too and from my computer to my friends’ and colleagues’ respective computers–music files, movie files, word documents, pdf documents, and virtually any other kind of file used on computers. Very convenient.

There are many kinds of iPods and brands of Mp3 players for all kinds of people. Get one that suits you and your needs.

Customer Review: It’s what you’d expect for the price…
I didn’t want anything too fancy. It’s primary use is at my desk at a very low volume. It’s perfectly sized for my desk and holds my iPod Touch perfectly. I read about the controls being ‘difficult’ in previous reviews- not so much difficult as unnecessary. You have to simultaneously push 2 buttons to either raise or lower the volume- and it does so rather rapidly.

The remote is useful once you get accustomed to the buttons differing from the traditional iPod wheel. However, the remote does not always work right away (you may have to push the button several times to get it to recognize).

The sound is perfect at low volumes. It gets rather distorted the louder you get…

All in all its what I expected for the price. I recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap desk speaker and intend to play it mostly at low volumes…

Customer Review: WILL NOT FIT NEW IPOD TOUCH!!
Just got the new Ipod Touch (32 mb) today and went to Target to buy a good case. I picked up the Griffin iClear Hard-Shell Case and took everything home. After trying for a good 30 minutes to get the case on, I finally went to the Apple site and checked the depth of the new Touch. The new Touch has a depth of .33 (8.5m); whereas the old Touch’s depth is 31 (8m). Yes, just that little amount of depth will render the case useless. Nowhere on the packaging for the case does it give the acceptable size for a good fit. And I thought I was getting a great deal because the case is on sale at Target for $10.00. Too bad it doesn’t fit the new Touch. Beware if you’re planning to buy any case for the Touch, make sure it says it will fit the new Ipod Touch. My next stop will be at the Apple store.

This is really a nice protector for my IPOD Touch. I pondered the leather case, but I didn’t want my system concealed. This product is made of a sturdy plastic that will protect it’s contents. I’ve accidently dropped it a few times and was amazed that it maintained the system and did not split in two pieces. I do recommend the clear screen protectors for extra protection which if they do get scratched, you can easily slap on another one. The only drawback to this item in which I did not rate a five star is the dock connector opening. You can easily connect the USB cable to the IPOD with the case on however, I have to remove the case if I want to dock it to my IHome system. I do not know about other dockable systems however mine will not allow the IPOD to dock without removing the cover. I do recommend the product as I have had it 6 months and love it, coupled with the price…you can’t go wrong.
