Rohit Langde Blogger: a Modest Young Online Entrepreneur

2013-05-26T08:30:00.001-07:00

It’s quite surprising to believe how these little kids at their young ages become so focused on their work. But it’s true. They have done it and proved it also. One such name is Rohit Langde, a student of Mechanical Engineering of Government Polytechnic College, Nagpur, who is presently doing his Bachelor Degree at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering in Nagpur.

Starting Up with Blogging

Like any other person of his generation Rohit also used to spend most of his time on internet. Helping out people by sharing thoughts and opinions with others seems to be quite interesting to him.
Later, one of his friends whom he met on a social networking site and coincidentally whose name was also Rohit told him about blogging. Finding it quite an exciting job, Rohit started blogging to share the movies and software on Blogspot blog. He used to do all these things in Orkut communities also.

Passion Turned to a Means of Livelihood

Since he started blogging in 2007, Rohit was unaware of the fact that his love for blogging could make him earn his livelihood. Completely he had no idea about the advertising revenue from blogs and the advertisement banners on different sites. Gradually his inquisitiveness made him to know more about those advertisements which he later started using in his blog too.

When he came to know that from writing own blogs he could earn money, he started his own blog in 2008 and thus became the founder / owner of Blogsolute.com. His income from blogging is enough to meet all his personal expenses along with the expenditure of his whole family.

Made His Technological Interest as the Subject of His Blog

As soon as Rohit came to know about the tricks and techniques of earning from blogging he left sharing those movies and all which he used to do earlier and started his own blog to share thoughts and views on computer software and technology. Technology has always been his favorite subject and he is always very keen and eager to know the newer technical inventions in electronic gadgets like mobile phones. This way he moved to his own area and started to share latest news on technology as also writing reviews on software on his own blog at blogsolute.com. His blog deals with all the information regarding web technology and the latest softwares.

He tries to make computing easy by giving certain tutorials and guidelines to the new comers to understand them quickly. His passion for technology kept him involved to earn money.

Success of Rohit in Blogging

Being a part-time blogger, Rohit finds it quite difficult to manage it alone. Recently some contributors joined him. It is he himself who made his blog popular but according to him some guest articles posted in his blog have undoubtedly helped him to make his blog famous.

As per the current statistics, monthly page views of his blog are about 1 million with more than 16,600 Facebook fans of his blog. Besides India, his traffic comes from United States and U.K. He mainly targets home users and students who are eager to know more about computer and thus he covers all about computer knowledge using windows software for a proper guidance. He loves to explore new ideas and techniques from various sources like various Forums and News sources.

Major portion of the revenue comes from Adsense while he has also Direct Ad Space sell on his blog. The income he is earning now is sufficient to meet his livelihood but being a student, till now he has not yet decided to take blogging as his profession. But obviously within the next few years he wants to make his blog bigger and popular all over the world.

Inspiration to Blogging

Darren Rowse of Problogger.net, Keith D’Souza of Techie-Buzz.com and Mr. Amit Agarwal of Labnol.org are some of his favorite bloggers who inspired him a lot. Darren Rowse and Amit Agarwal are his idols.

According to him one has to be a good reader in order to express himself through writing. Rohit is a regular reader of his favorite blogs Make Useof, OMGUbuntu and Problogger.

Principles Followed by Rohit

Rohit believes that blogging is not a medium of quick money making. One has to be patient and fully devoted to what he is writing, keeping in mind the importance of bringing traffic to the website. He says that sincerity and dedication could obviously bring success one day.

Blogging has made him more patient, imaginative and expressive. It is his favorite pass time also. To him staying connected with social networking sites are really helpful to flourish in the career of blogging. Several networking sites like Facebook and Twitter help to create your own image in the web world.
Being a technical person himself Rohit believes that the advancement of technology has made people lazier.

His Favorites

Being a bollywood fan Rohit never misses a movie released on every Friday. He loves unconventional movies like Wednesday and comedy serials like Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai on television. He is moved by listening Sufi songs. Apart from movies and listening to songs, Rohit likes to play games and hanging out with friends and family. Switzerland being his dream destination, he would also love to visit Cape Town, London and Kashmir. He loves South Indian dishes and also never misses the opportunity to have Chinese.

Rohit’s Wishes
He wished if he could meet Sir Isaac Newton once whether dead or alive. And one thing if he could change in this world is corruption.

Achievements

Rohit is building his own home and according to him it is his biggest achievement till now. But the happiest moment in his life is when he got his own Desktop Computer.

Comments He Enjoys on His Blog

Among the various technical topics that he shares in his blog, he enjoys the comments of those related with the topics on mobile phones. This is so because an admirer of a particular mobile-set easily gets into tussle with the one supporting the manufacturer, which he finds quite funny.

This is an inspiring story of a successful young boy from Nagpur, who is a bit conservative and reserved but trying to be more social and popular with his writing capabilities. Rohit can be an icon to upcoming bloggers who also want to make their name in the web world.

How Writing for content mill can sabotage your Freelance writing career?

2013-05-06T00:17:00.000-07:00

Freelance writing is not an optional career option. Now, thanks to the advent of technology many people are waking up to the vast opportunity in the field of freelance writing. With every passing day, more and more people are actually opting for freelance content writing as a full time career option. However, the path to being a successful freelance writer is certainly not a smooth one.

Writing for pennies for Content Mills

Take a look at my career as a freelance writer

My career progression as a freelance writer is an eye opener for many upcoming writers. They can certainly learn a lesson or two from the grave mistakes that I made too early in my career. See, what happens when you just start freelance writing is that you are extremely unsure of this new territory and lack self confidence. This was absolutely the case with me. I was desperately looking for avenues to earn some money and was slightly unsure of how to go about. This is when a friend of mine introduced me to the ghastly concept of content mill. For those of you, who are not aware of what is meant by content mill, it is basically a content bank where starting freelance writers are paid peanuts to write content on almost all possible topics in the world. The content mill is known to house a plethora of topics. All search engines are known to function on certain algorithms. These articles in the content bank are known to be as per the requirements of these algorithms. The whole idea is that no matter, what topic you might search it would lead you to the content mill.

Pouring my heart out with my experience

Now, coming back to my experience as a content mill writer. Initially, it was indeed fun; I could write on a varied number of topics and sharpen my writing skills. However this is the biggest mistake that I did. Something, so big that it could sabotage my freelance writing career one and for all. The pay was dismal and naturally, in order to earn more , I ended up churning as many as 20 to 10 articles per day that affected by quality of work in a negative manner. Moreover, I was so bogged down with the work load that I never had the opportunity to actually look for other options that ensures a better pay and hence your quality is not compromised with.

Trapped in a Vicious Cycle

It was like a vicious cycle. No matter how much I wanted to get out of this trap called content mill, simply could not. The fact that I had low self confidence and no other online work in hand made matters worse. Quitting content mill writing meant saying bye to freelance writing completely. However, thankfully one day (someday back in Mar2007) I finally gained the required confidence and quit this trap once and for all.
My sincere advice to all freelance writers, please do not fall prey to the trap called content mill writing. They mean easy money but trust me your hard work is worth a lot more both in terms of money and appreciation.

Super affiliate Vs average affiliate: difference explained

2013-05-05T09:07:00.001-07:00

Super Affiliate: who is he?

Before you get to know about a super affiliate let us make a quick review on who is an affiliate marketer? super affiliates.

The super affiliates are the people who are among the best affiliate marketers and capable of leading the others in the business. They obviously drive in most of the customers for the sellers and earn more than average affiliates. Who are average affiliates you might ask then they are the ones who are not very good at their jobs and give only average results. Now it is time to list out the major differences between the two main points of discussion of the article; super affiliates and average affiliates.

An affiliate marketer is a person who is responsible for promoting products of the merchant and earns a commission on every customer that he brings to the merchant. Affiliate marketing is growing with every passing day and so is the number of affiliate marketers. You have to understand that not every affiliate marketer is skilled and gives excellent results. The ones that do are known as

Super affiliate Vs average affiliates

The thinking ability of both an average affiliate and a super affiliate is what sets them apart from one another. The first one does not possess strategically thinking ability whereas the latter one has loads of it. It is the strategies of a super affiliate that makes him successful along with other reasons as well.
A super affiliate is responsible for getting a huge traffic to the website of the seller whereas the average affiliate is not even close to the super affiliate in this context.
Being disciplined and methodical are the two strong qualities of a super affiliate which are obviously absent from the average affiliate.
The other two qualities that you will observe in a super affiliate and not in an average one are a positive approach along with firm determination.
Setting goals is one of the main jobs of a successful affiliate marketer. A super affiliate never forgets to set goals while an average affiliate rarely sets goals for him.

These are some of the major differences between super affiliate marketers and average affiliate marketers. Now it is high time that we discuss the secrets behind the success of the super affiliates

Secrets of super affiliates

Their strong feature is that they know their audience. The people you deal with want different things and not everyone will be interested in the product you are here to promote. That is it is very essential to identify the group that is most interested and then market them the product. A super affiliate is a pro at marketing and that is why he is able to drive so much web traffic to the website of the seller.

Hard work is the key to success; this statement is true for super affiliates as well. They do not gain success by sitting around as they have to work for hours in order to get the results that are expected from a super affiliate marketer. All the strategies that are discussed above are followed by the super affiliates and usually ignored by the average ones and the difference is no secret.

Conclusion

A super affiliate marketer follows the latest trends and combines them with his hard work and dedication to drive web traffic and earn his high commission from the merchant. An average affiliate on the other hand cannot free him from the old notions and fail to understand the value of time and patience in the world of affiliate marketing.

Don't let Affiliate Leakage Hijack your Affiliate Commission

2013-04-07T09:40:00.003-07:00

Nothing is easier and fast way than embarking on the Affiliate Program by click and join some of the most luring commission offering Affiliate sites and creating a blog to promote their affiliate products on the very first day of making the decision of earning online.

But as mentioned in my last article that there are some difference in action that decides your future success as Super Affiliate or you will be out of the affiliate game. Read my previous post - Secret Strategies of Super Affiliates.

Today, let's talk about Affiliate Leakage that some of the merchants use to hijack your affiliate commission.

Yes, you have read it right, it is no one but some (not all) affiliate merchants who are willingly trying to hijack your traffic to make their own money and they are least bothered about your time and effort invested. They never respect their affiliates.

So before embarking on any affiliate program, it is worth to understand -

what are affiliate leakage and types of Affiliate leakage?

In simple terms, Affiliate leaks are a path that is prominently present on merchant sites and when the traffic you sent to land on that site, they get distracted by several ways to complete the conversion process, but those paths are not associated with your codes and are untraceable so that the merchants doesn't have to credit commission to your account for those sales.

In short Affiliate leaks are path or ways present on the Merchant's Website that does not help you make money out of the traffic that you have sent them.

So, Why most of the affiliates ignore Affiliate leaks?

Most of the affiliates don't even have heard about this term and hence everything seems perfect to them. The only thing that feels tempting to them is the highest affiliate commissions that are mentioned on the site and those affiliate marketers start with all the full fledged effort spending all their time and energy to promote affiliate products for those merchants who are just adamant to take unfair means to keep the commissions of their affiliates to themselves. When those innocent affiliates are even succeeded to convert lots of potential online visitors to potential buyers but at the end those wicked merchants succeed to divert those traffic to an untraceable path and the sales commission for those sales are not credited to the affiliate's account. So, it is really not a big deal to find an affiliate program that lures you promising big sales commission but your action before joining any affiliate program to ensure that there are no affiliate leaks will definitely make a difference in your chances of success.

What are the types of Affiliate Leakage?

The Pro Affiliates are well aware of all types of possible leaks present on the merchant sites whereas the new affiliates are not even aware of the,. Here is the type of affiliate leaks that every new affiliate should understand and ensure that they should not fall prey to those merchant traps.

Telephone numbers
AdSense units
Amazon widgets
Links to “network” stores/sites
Affiliate links & links to other merchants

Let's explain these Affiliate leaks and check out how tactfully they are draining your affiliate commissions to merchant's pocket -

Telephone Numbers or Toll Free Numbers present on the merchant site is no doubt a good effort to show you and the potential buyers that the merchant product is genuine and they are willing to help the buyers out in every possible way and a good assurance to you that they will try app possible means to convert your lead. Sounds Good? OK wait and think again. These telephone numbers could be a possible leakage diverting your traffic to a untraceable path. Please ensure that the merchant has mentioned some way out to trace the phone calls made by the visitors referred by you with your affiliate code and any sales conversion should yield your affiliate commission. Some genuine merchants who value their affiliate's efforts are deliberately mentioned about their phone call tracing and affiliate sales commission but others just avoid it in an intention to make their own money.

Fishy Affiliate program and AdSense Ads - You may not believe it but it is true. You may notice some AdSense Ads on some Affiliate Merchant sites. Those are some other smart people who wear hats of Affiliate Merchant but their main intention is to earn from AdSense and offer high affiliate commission in the market to attract affiliates for driving quality traffic towards their site and make money from AdSense. So, before joining any affiliate program it is worth researching the merchant site.

Presence of Amazon widget on Merchant's site - You may notice some amazon widget present on the merchant site. Though the widget list contains related products same as the merchant but it is just another way to make money from those merchants using traffic sent by you on their site. So, if you catch some merchant uses this trick to make their money then there is no doubt that they are not serious about selling their product and affiliate's efforts. It is always better to not join these affiliate programs.

Links to “network” stores/sites also caused leaks - Some merchants are smart enough to place a list of their sister network sites on their website sidebar or display the list of Amazon or eBay store they own. Though there is no issue in placing the list of sister networks but you should ensure that they are using some tracking system to pay you a sales commission whenever someone from the traffic sent by you make a purchase. On the other hand it is absolutely wrong job on the merchant's side to list eBay or Amazon store own by them because eBay or Amazon never allow to place any sub-tracking system of your merchant's site with your affiliate code. The all they allow is tracking code of the merchant alone. So, if someone from your traffic will make any purchase from those stores listed on your merchant's website, it is the merchant who is benefited alone for your hard work and you will be rewarded with nothing.

Affiliate links & links to other merchants is another type of leak in this list - This is another very interesting trick, often adopted by some new merchants who are not serious in their business product. Some merchant themselves wears affiliate hat. They themselves join other affiliate programs and use banners and links with their affiliate codes on their sites, so that if someone from your traffic takes interest in those products on banners and links then they will be benefited from the affiliate sales and they will earn affiliate commissions from other respective merchants. Really silly trick.

These are the lists of leakages that hijack your affiliate commissions. Though sometimes the leaks are due to merchant's ignorance and sometimes they do is intentionally and unprofessionally. Hence is it always worth to check out all about these leaks and ensure that you are signing up a genuine Affiliate Program and your time and energy invested to promote the product really worth it.

If you like this information, please share it with your friends and families. Help promote this post through twitter, Facebook and other social Networks.

Lots of online money makers join affiliate programs every day and lots of affiliate programs are growing up every day. Still there are only a few names in the affiliate success list. It is not that all the affiliate programs are fake.

So, is there any secret to become a successful affiliate?

Hmm, the correct term that can be used here is the strategy. Basically it is the strategy that is adopted by any successful affiliate marketer which they keep secret and never disclose just to keep the competition level lower and keep earning more to make millions. So, basically there is no such secret, it is only about the right strategies that you have not followed for your affiliate marketing success. It is the strategy that you have generally ignored and the successful affiliates follow it rigidly to keep them successful.

Before proceeding towards the strategies, I would like to bring into your attention some traits that helps those simple affiliate to become a Super Affiliate who are earning Five figures a month. These traits are -

Patience
Persistence
Always dare to try new
The habit of doing it now without leaving it for tomorrow.

Success never comes overnight and super affiliates are not exception to this rule. It is the News of their success that comes overnight and provokes you to jump into the process that they were in for several months or years. So, if you are reading this post in a hope to get some super clue about getting overnight success then please leave this post right now as I am not going to share anything that make you rich over night and you are just wasting your time. But if you believe that hard work and determination brings success, please keep reading.

What are the basic strategies that can help you become a successful affiliate?

We all know that there are some basic jobs that we have to do to increase our affiliate sales. There has been a lot written on these like you have to blog, you have to promote, you have to be active replying your blog readers and much more.. But there are some thing which differentiates you and super affiliates.

Super Affiliates are just very common people like you but they think differently than you since beginning. Please keep reading.

Don't choose affiliate marketing just because your friend is earning big bucks - Yes, sometimes we just get hypnotized while one of our good friend starts discussing about his own affiliate success and suddenly your soul jump to the decision of becoming a successful affiliate marketer like him/her. Please avoid such temptation because there is no right way to get rich overnight until you are doing something which is a crime. Your friend definitely have achieved affiliate success but he/ she have worked hard to achieve that, maybe he she has spent some of his/her night hours in front of Laptop while you were enjoying your dream at night. So, before jumping into this, please prepare yourself mentally that you are going to get yourself in upcoming hard time to achieve your expectations.
Don't expect to make your very first sale on the very first day - Yes, you have read it right. This expectation is the root of 85% affiliate failure cases in the industry. Most of the affiliate marketers are found to start losing hope when they don't even able to catch any single visitor to their affiliate page except their friends and families only on the very first day/ week/ month. Please remember that it is almost 99% obvious that you are not going to get any hit from any new interested buyer on the web because your affiliate page is too new to appear on the search result. So, the only visitors you can expect in the initial days are your friends and families. It will take time may be a week, a month or more depending upon your promotional strategies to reach the potential buyers. You need to know well - How to promote your affiliate product to get high sales?
Take time to research well before joining any affiliate program - Yes, this is another secret that differentiates you from the super affiliates. Super Affiliates do nothing extra but they are not emotional fool. They are never in a hurry to join each and every affiliate program and start promoting them that seems provoking to them with high commission earning. Rather they spend their valuable time in doing research about the age of the affiliate, conversion reports, reviews available online left by other affiliates who are working for them or left them, customer's reviews about the products being sold by those affiliates, customer service report by those affiliate programs as this is the most important part of any affiliate success.
Big commissions doesn't guarantee big earning : Yes, this is true. Since the competition is stiff everywhere, every new affiliate program that is coming us is trying to attract more and more affiliates to promote their products and make good profit. In this context, they are also trying to lure the affiliates by offering higher commissions than others and surprisingly they succeed every time. But those who has achieved super affiliate status has never fallen into that trap. Remember that big commissions definitely helps earning more profit but it never guarantee your success in selling the product. Hope you have heard it somewhere that - "You can't sell a Refrigerator to an Eskimo". So, before getting attracted to high commissions, check out whether the product you are promoting worth your valuable time or the product is in actual demand among your reader base. If the product is not in demand, higher commissions will never help you make even a single penny. So, it is the selection of the right products that will help you make good money and becoming super affiliates, not the commission itself. So, before jumping into anything, try to understand the taste of potential audience.
Be ready to embrace the change in this dynamic online world - Internet is very dynamic and nothing stays here forever. The SEO strategies are ever changing, new promotional strategies are coming up every new week/ month. So, you can't rely on something that worked for you last week and expect that this will be your secret of success for ever. You have to keep learning and follow your competitors, other super affiliates and check out what new they are trying. You too have to keep changing your strategies and keep trying adopting fair means and you can maintain yourself up-going. If you are lazy to try something new, please don't jump into it better search for some monotonous 9 to 5 jobs where you will get the chance to keep repeating the same job, same way till your retirement day. Affiliate marketing is for dynamic minded optimistic people only, Mind it.
Never give up - "I quit" is the term that is not present in the vocabulary of the Super Affiliates. They see things differently. When they fail, they never feel sad, rather they become happy to know what has not worked for them and eliminate that strategy forever. So, everything whether success or failure appears to them as an opportunity to learn from. They find a resemblance of the life cycle of a butterfly in everything. When they fail they think themselves as a caterpillar and they keep hoping that tomorrow will be the day when they have beautiful and attractive wings and that is the spirit that keeps them going. They never quit.

So, it is your action plan at the beginning that will decide your path towards becoming a super affiliate or failure as an affiliate. If you have any affiliate success story or affiliate success strategy please share with us and we would love to post them on this blog if we like it.

If you like this post, please help spreading it among your friends and families. Please don't forget to post your valuable comments too.

Mark Zuckerberg - the Founder of Facebook and his Winning Strategies

2013-03-22T01:57:00.003-07:00

Most of the time we cherries our passion, hobbies, desires in our dreams. In reality we run for our livings. But today world has experienced an extraordinary example of a 27 years old guy who dares to drive his dream in real life. Are you thinking of someone? Yes you are right. We are talking about the famous face of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg. His extreme passion for computers has made him one of the youngest dropout billionaire of the world.

It sounds exciting but the journey from a dropout student to become an entrepreneur must have some strategies leads to success. The story had started from Harvard College where Mark along with his classmates had formed a Facemash for only Harvard students to choose the best looking students of the college. Then gradually the popularity of this effort leads him to form Facebook and initially it gets sprayed from Harvard to different colleges for the communications of students. Now Facebook has 600 million users from all over the world.

Big achievements in short time:

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder & CEO of Facebook and the TIME magazine’s 2010 person of the year says -

It’s not because of the amount of money. For me and my colleagues; the most important thing is that we create an open information flow for people. Having media corporations owned by conglomerates is not just an attractive idea to me

He has considered as a 35th richest man of 2010 by Forbes. He had refused the offer of Microsoft for his own created mp3 program in his school life. In 2009 Ben Mezrich has published a book called The Accidental Billionaires and later David Fincher had made a film based on this story named The Social Network (2010).

So if you want to follow the process of his journey you have to know the successful strategies of his story. His success story starts with his secrete strategies that would really help you to understand the perfect passionate potential of yourself.

These short, simple but strong strategies are:

Desire to drive your dream:
There is a well said saying that “Desire is the starting point of all achievements.” With this key concept Mark has converted his fate to fame and fortune. His true desire has opened his dream to make it real. So identification of your desire is the first step to flow your dream.
Small idea with big thought:
Mark has started Facebook as his college project by which students can communicate with each other. This small idea gradually has become a huge platform for the world with his deep thought. This small effort has been converted into a million dollar company by his big thought. So try to execute your small starting to make your thoughts large.
Self belief is the best belief:
Mark had started his Facebook project with his friends and initially he thought to sell it off. But finally he refused to sell it. He knew his own way to make it successful. Now his self belief has proved him right and makes him the CEO of this company. Self belief never leads you to look back in your journey.
Pursue your passion for perfection:
Mark Zuckerberg was pursuing his passion from his very childhood. He invented different computer programs, music players and so on. But day by day he tried to improve his effort towards perfection. Finally his passion is paid off by forming one of the biggest social networking sites. Still he is in the process to achieve more perfection for his site. So never give up your passion.
Success comes with struggle:
No man can achieve his success without hard work and struggle. Likewise Mark also had started his projects with his own small funding instead of big capital. He faced lots of criticism like other entrepreneur. And being a dropout student it was not very easy to achieve his goal. So you have to face struggles by overcoming hurdles to reach success.
Courage to compete with giants:
Mark Zuckerberg also faced a big giant called Google to established Facebook in the heart of internet users. He said -

I guess we could. If you look at how much of our page is taken up with ads compared to the average search query. The average for us is a little less than 10% of the pages and the average for search is about 20% taken up with ads. That’s the simplest thing we could do but we aren’t like that; we make enough money. Right, I mean we are keeping things running; we are growing at the rate we want to.

Sometimes you have to take out your success from giant’s feet.

So this spell bounding story of Mark Zuckerberg would give you the every required element towards success. His steps to success would motivate others to start their own journey to achieve their dreams.

Creating her own website at the age of 14 and hitting millions of traffic regularly is truly inspiring to turn your ideas into success. Yes, Ashley Quells, an American teenager has proved it that you don’t have to be an adult to become a successful online entrepreneur. Her website whateverlife.com is so popular that it attracts more visitors than some popular teen magazines like Seventeen, Teen, Vogue and Cosmogirl.

Ashley couldn’t wait to complete her formal education as she needs to know more than what educational system could provide. Dropped out of high school, Ashley had done a crash course to learn how to run your own business and make it profitable.

Starting Up with Blogging

Born on June 4th, 1990 in America, Ashley was always interested in graphic designs. Because of her talent she was popular among her friends also. While she was in school, she saw her friends customizing their Myspace layouts and that time social networking was also growing up. She too thought of designing her own by using various colors and using quotes from her favorite songs. Her layouts made her famous among her friends and that was the time when she thought of creating her own website.

By borrowing $8 from her mother this young school going kid started her own website and named it whateverlife.com. Ashley says that the name of her website itself reflects her goals and objectives. She says that for whatever life you lead, she is going to write for everyone. Thus only at the age of 14, she started her business at the basement of her suburban house at Detroit with an old computer and employed her mother and some of her friends. She was unaware of the fact that she is going to be a successful entrepreneur within a few years. She just took it for fun to share her cool MySpace background designs with others.

Success Hit Her within Few Years

Success story of Ashley is different from other online young entrepreneurs who became a millionaire. Neither her parents were into any business nor did she get any help from any elder sibling. She never had any contacts also. She designed her website to provide free Myspace layouts and also started giving HTML tutorials to kids who were eager to learn how to make their own coding and graphic designs. She used to run her website entirely from advertising revenue like Google AdSense and ValueClick.

Though she was alone, in 2006, Ian Moray, manager of media development for ValueClick Media got attracted by Ashley’s website. ValueClick Media is an online advertising broking firm, which helped Ashley grow her business. Moray was unaware of the fact that he is dealing with a teenager as whatever Ashley used to respond via email and phone seemed to be like an internet professional. Almost after a year when a magazine company contacted Moray to write about Ashley and her business, Moray discovered her real age. It was then Ashley was earning about $70,000 per month.

Her website whateverlife.com draws traffic of 7 million visitors and 60 million page views per month. With such a big audience hitting everyday, lot of advertisers gets attracted also.

By the time her website became popular world-wide, she got an offer of 1.5 million dollars for her business and also a car of her own choice. But she turned down that offer. By September 2006, Ashley bought a new house in a fenced-off subdivision in the community of Southgate for an amount of $250,000. She shifted to that new four bed-room house with her mother and younger sister. All these she achieved before she turned 18. It was really awesome and brilliant for a teenager to achieve such success before attaining adulthood.

Managing Her Assets at Minor Age

Ashley faced certain difficulties because of her young age since being a minor she had no legal control over her income. Thus after a family dispute, the court appointed a conservator for controlling all the assets of whateverlife.com. A monthly budget was fixed and if Ashley had to spend more than the budget she had to request for the extra funds. But Ashley got frustrated with this arrangement. She had to hire employees and contractors and also software developers from India for her business. But every time she had to take the permission of the conservator to spend money. Finally after she attained 18 years, she got the legal emancipation and was very happy to get the legal status as an adult.

Reinventing Whateverlife.com

With the idea of taking her website to the next level, she tried to make certain improvisations to her website. Few users and over 200 ambassadors giving input on features and designs are helping to rebuilt whateverlife. She realized that many teenager kids are interested to design their own graphics and want to create their own websites. Keeping these in mind she wants to relaunch her website. The new whateverlife will allow uploading, storing and sharing your own creations whether it may be graphics, social templates, tutorials blogs, videos etc.

This new platform will help to upgrade your own profiles with a wide exposure. Ashley has also developed a branded widget for whateverlife. It will broadcast music and video and the whateverlife staff will choose a star every week. The widget will help to create a virtual network across the social media world through Facebook and other social networking sites. Thus she is providing the platform or outlet for those who are creative.

With various other innovative ideas in mind Ashley has teamed up with a company called Subculture Interactive based in Los Angelos to rebuilt whateverlife.

Guiding Principles of Ahsley

Being a hard working lady, Ahsley believes to focus on every little detail of a project to make 100% out of it. She thinks anything could be done till you believe in it. Turning up dream into reality made her really feel happy. She says that if you love to do something just follow it and don’t let your passion wasted. Let your passion turn to profit and be an expert of whatever job you are doing.

She thinks involving adults and good consultants to your business and taking their advice really helps you to become successful in your own business.

This is all about Ashley Qualls, who became a millionaire by creating her own website at the age of 14. This is truly motivating and inspiring not only to kids but also to adults who are planning to start something on their own.
