- CPA qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.

Based at Murarrie, your new position will provide professional advice and support to management and staff on a full range of OH&S issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of AS/NZS 4801:2001, previous experience in implementing OH&S management systems and familiarity with the warehouse and distribution environment.

Your main responsibilities in this position will include;

- Implementing OH&S Management Systems to meet AS/NZS 4801:2001 and maintain such standards
- Working with corporate and state OH&S team to promote a culture of personal commitment and responsibility to workplace safety.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures to eliminate or minimise workplace risks.
- Assist in the implementation of OH&S policies, procedures and programs.
- Assist in the delivery of OH&S training to management and staff.

To be considered, we are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience;
- Tertiary qualification in OH&S or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of AS/NAS4801:2001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with the building product industry in a warehouse and distribution environment will be highly regarded.
- Experience in managing/monitoring return to work programs.
