The Team Building Project

The Team Building Project was conceived and developed by Stephen Scott. He is a proven Digital Marketing Expert with over 20 years of business development, web site design & architecture, database design, viral marketing, social networking and computer programming experience.

In addition, Stephen is considered a network marketing (MLM) expert having successfully developed organizations in six different countries.

Below is “The About me” story that Stephen has published on his website. What beter way to find out about a project or a person than straight from the horses mouth ..so to speak.

My Story
Several people have asked me why I developed the Team Building Project. Well, the answer to that question quite simple; I wanted to create an opportunity that wasn’t simply about making money for oneself, but rather an opportunity based on a community of people tightly connected and working together to achieve financial success for the entire team.

The Team Building Project is going great.

It has started attracting new partners everyday and more importantly; we are communicating with one another, developing new and lasting friendships as we position ourselves for long-term financial success!

My first experience with network marketing (multi-level marketing) was in 1996. Up until that time I had enjoyed a successful professional life and was making a very good income. However, I had long believed that the best type of income was definitely passive residual income.

Having been approached by several friends and business colleagues about network marketing, I finally decided to give it a try. And from the very start I committed myself full-time with the company I joined.

I quickly developed teams throughout the United States and reached the second highest position in the company within my first 3 months. While my early success in the United States was rewarding, my ultimate goal was to develop a truly global organization.

To accomplish my goal I moved to Europe (London) a full six months before the company was scheduled to begin its European expansion. I developed large teams in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

So, having developed a large global organization you would think I had positioned myself for long-term financial success. NOT! I very quickly learned that even more difficult than building an organization, was helping the majority of people make money, REAL money, in a timely fashion.

The reality for ALL network marketing companies is the vast majority of representatives/distributors are unable to generate any meaningful income – ever!

Needless to say that after several years and several thousands of dollars I eventually left network marketing however, I remained convinced that there had to be a way for the majority of people to earn meaningful income from network marketing.

There Must Be A Better Way

The Team Building Project was Born!

I conceived and developed the Team Building Project to essentially shatter the traditional network marketing paradigm. I strongly believed that the best way to enable the majority of people to succeed in network marketing was to ‘stack the deck’ of success in their favor. I knew there had to be a way to pre-position people for both immediate and long-term success.

I quickly identified the primary obstacles people face in building (and sustaining) a large downline that generates both immediate and long-term residual income.

Getting people to attend business opportunity meetings.

Getting people to listen to business opportunity conference calls.

Getting people to join and pay start up fees.

Keeping people interested long enough to actually make money.

So, I simply posed the following question to myself: What if one could quickly pre-build a large organization while avoiding the major obstacles? To answer this question I conceived and developed the Team Building Project.

Utilizing my business development, network marketing, computer programming, website design and Internet technology experience, I quickly began developing the Team Building Project website.

Important note: The Team Building Project is in no way associated with any company, group or partnership of any kind.

So, if you’re like me and truly believe in the power of network marketing to generate a substantial residual income, then I invite you to take a closer look at the Team Building Project. But please, have an open mind, as it does represent a huge paradigm shift in developing a successful network marketing business.

I hope you will join us on this incredible journey!

In 2008, I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend with none other than Tony Robbins (along with a few other thousand people). This guy can portray an incredibly intimidating figure, he has a unique presence about him. Fortunately for me, there was also a time when the very front row was mine and the imposing figure of the man himself was right there in front tof me…wow!

The atmoshere as you can tell by the first video is amazing and the energy levels he generates is nothing short of incredible.

If there was any regerets, it would only be that I did not video tape my very own fire walking experience. The first time over was a bit of a blur as you can very easily be caught up in all the hype and emotion but the second time that was done at a slower more casual pace was awesome.

There is a lot to be said for belief and after concreting the belief with experience..the second walk was exhillerating. My advise is that if you ever get a chance to do it….. dont think twice.

After the fire walking exploits of night one, the lessons had only just begun!
One of the most powerful sections came from the wealth mastery topic and I have enclosed a video I found with Tony discussing the exact topic.

Real wealth mastery is For The few?

Wealth is one thing but

Wealth Mastery

The Team Building Project is A paradigm Shift

It is a new project that had been developed because of the frustrations that is commonly associated with traditional MLM or Network marketing opportunities.

This project is all about building a team of people before any commitment to an MLM is ever made.

The Team Building Project releases the valve of pressure.

There is no money to get started and there is no business to be associated with…atleast NOT Yet.

In basic terms, once the team totals 10,000 people there will be a vote on what opportunity will best suit the entire group. What I find to be a real plus is the lack of pressure. Stephen Scott begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, the founder has done a great job here. He has really worked hard on not being the same as standard MLM operations.

You can join the team building project as a raw beginner or as a seasoned network marketing professional.

It is all about building a team in readiness to enter an MLM business with all guns blazing and a team that is already developed.

If you are starting from scratch, it is a very attractive alternative as you can take advantage of all the “get ready”
training which will see you working at your own speed leading up to the magic number of 10,000.

How many people you personally put in your group is totally up to you.
Personally I see the Team Building Project as a terrific back up plan. It insures survival in the industry should anything ever happen to an on going/active MLM.

Having said that, the popularity and commitment to the project seems to be gathering momentum which is of course a great thing. If you have ever wanted to build a team with no pressure and no money needed or asked for…here is your chance.

I have put the official video presentation below for anyone to look at if you are either keen to have a look or even if curiosity has taken over.

Paralysis by analysis

is more common than you could imagine and it will ibfest your game before you even know it.
One of the most common questions asked of me when it comes to golf is what do you actually think of when you hit a ball.

The answer is nothing.
The opposite to nothing is what equals

Paralysis by Analysis

If I have to think of something, I would think tempo but my preference would be to have a totally blank mindset. It’s a blank canvas that Im looking to work with.

The amount of time it takes to swing a golf club does not allow you the time to think of anything. It is over in a flash and if you think you can change your swing half way through, you are desperately clutching at straws.

Golf is one of those sports where less is best and paralysis by analysis does not fit this idea.

If less is best, why is it that so many people flood their heads with concerns?

(Paralysis by Analysis)

I remember watching a young golfer with big ambitions practice and it was interesting to watch. He hit iron after iron with sheer precision. He was like a machine.

Sometimes wanting something bad enough leads to trying too hard which leads itself too paralysis by analysis.

The longer the session went, the more it looked like he was just waiting for a bad shot and sure enough it came. The paralysis by analysis was about to seek its revenge with some not so good results

This is where things got interesting because he began to take his entire swing apart and implemented changes that he deemed necessary.

My point is…<img title="paralysis by analysis" src="http://workwithpetebennett.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/news_hi-tech-swing-150x150.gif" alt="paralysis by analysis"width="150" height="150" /> does your swing need to change because you hit one bad shot in a dozen?… Perfection is a great thing to aim for but the pursuit of it can paralyse your efforts.

The harder you try, the more things you change. The more things you change, the more you question what it is you are doing. The paralysis by analysis is starting to choke your efforts.

Many years ago, I stood in front of a group of students and wanted to test their knowledge.

Standing in front of the group I addressed a shot and to the surprise of many,I topped it.

The question I ask you just as I asked the group is why do you think I topped it?

Answers came thick and fast and some of them were more technical than others. There was, you lifted your head, your arm bent, your spine angle increased and a whole lot more.

Whats your thought?

With no correct answers after the first hit, the shot was repeated. It was easy. All i had to do was follow all the advice I had just received. Dont lift the heel, transfer more weight, strengthen my grip and take it away a little more on the inside….. how could I go wrong?

Have you figured it out yet?

The reason I topped the golf ball is because I wanted too. I hit the top because thats exactly what I wanted to do.

Whats the point of all this?

My point is that golfers need to keep things simple and stop filling your head with paralysis by analysis that serves nothing other than a fighting stimulant.

Every time you hit the ball left, right, high or low, there are reasons for it but do you really want to know them all?

Do yourself a favour and work on one or two things at once, no more, no less.

You will be glad you did. One of the most common questions asked of me when it comes to golf is what do you actually think of when you hit a ball.

The answer is nothing.

Golf is one of those sports where less is best.

Stop thinking so much… paralysis by analysis will destroy your game!

Dreams and particularly golf dreams are wonderful things.

They provide the fuel and motivation to keep going. They can be the number one reason you get out of bed in the morning.

The lack of dreams and indeed your golf dreams can be the number one reason you stay in bed late and spend the rest of the day getting ready to go back there.

The reality is that the majority of people no longer have clearly defined dreams or aspirations.

Their life dreams, let alone golf dreams have been battered over the years and they now equal the equivalent of what their currently reality is. Simply put, people shrink their dreams to match their current situation.

It is a shame but people can only take so much rejection and disappointment before acceptance becomes the norm.

The number one reason to me is that there are a lot of people who have dreams that are not really what they want. They may be something they think is important to them but on a level far deeper, they know the dreams can come and go, they are not that important.

A golf dream is something that hits you where it matters most..In your heart. It is what you think of in the morning and what you sleep with at night. It is so real, you can touch it, smell it and most of all you believe in it.

The biggest killer of golf dreams in my opinion is expectations.

Or atleast unrealistic expectations you have in comparison to the efforts you are willing to put in.
So you want to be a professional, a scratch marker or even an A grader? Does your effort match the wishful thinking golf dreams?

There is always a price to pay for success but not everyone is honestly prepared to pay it. There is an old saying that suggests that the price to success must be paid not only in full but also in advance.

So you want to be a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer or even a teacher of physics, which is terrific. The question is whether or not you are prepared to go to university and study before your dream can be met.

The reaching of your golf dreams takes work.

It takes time and it takes one dimensional effort.

I remember a student asking for some specific guidance. He wanted to become a professional which is always a great thing to hear. However, he wanted to achieve the feat in 1 year with two half days and a full day of practice to devote himself.

With a handicap in the single figures, the golf dream was sound but the effort required was given very little thought. He was setting himself up for a fall.

If you have a dream like this, my advice is to find someone that has achieved it and ask about what it takes to achieve it. Aim to do it quicker if you like but unless your effort matches the timeline, you are setting yourself up for failure.

Failure and rejection is what stops most people in their journey towards their life dreams.

Your golf dreams are not that different

If this sounds like you, your dreams have either not been big or real enough or you have not attached a timeline that portrays your level of effort.

If I told you it took 1 million golf balls being struck before you could call yourself a golf professional, would you pay the price? (28 yrs @100 per day) (14 yrs @200 per day)

I do not know if those figures are close to the mark but they provide good food for thought.

What if that figure was 500,000 instead?
(What cost is associated with your golf dream?)

My last word on expectations running parallel to efforts is easy. Hitting 100 balls per week and having an 18 hole round on Saturdays will not turn you into a scratch golfer so make sure your expectations reflect the effort you are putting in.

In closing, always remember….. Nobody Ever Steals Your Dream !!

The great thing is that dreaming is fun and if you want to turn your golf dreams into reality, go for it and never let self doubt stand in your way!
