They preached only what the Lord had taught them. Paying tithes and sowing of seed money to gain riches were not part of that gospel.

Those faithful apostles never solicited money to enrich themselves; rather, they shared whatever they had with the less fortunate. The world hated them just as it hated their Lord.

The broadcast asserts that worldly prosperity teachers are programming the threshold below the consciousness of their followers using subliminal techniques. That is the reason so many have embraced worldly prosperity messages without knowing that they are false.

Expensive dressing, glamourous furnishings of buildings called churches, and false testimonies of rags to riches stories are some of these subliminal techniques.

Only by reading the Bible and meditating on God's word can followers of worldly prosperity preachers be delivered from this false gospel that has permeated their whole being.

The health and wealth gospel negates the reason for Christ's death for fallen humanity.

Christ died so that those who believe in Him will inherit eternal life. He did not die to make His followers rich and healthy in this world.

They tell their members to ask God to locate their "destiny helpers" who will help to smoothen their paths in life and make them rich.

No being, human or spirit, can ever be a destiny helper. The proposition that humans can be destiny helpers is preposterous as that would make them equal with God.

The only Helper believers have as they run the race to eternal life is God. And God, if He so chooses, can use anyone or anything to assist believers on their journey.

The only pathway is for them to repent and go back to the cross so that the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ, begins to lead them as they run the race to eternal life.

Leaders of denominations, church organizations, and buildings called churches who have assumed headship over their followers have departed from the faith: a part of the body can never be the Head because only Jesus Christ is the Head of His Church.

And they are leading so many to eternal death.

Many 21st century believers love the world even more than unbelievers. They don't see themselves as representatives of the Kingdom of God and pilgrims on the earth.

They believe in the wealth acquisition/worldly prosperity messages and love those pastors who promote them.

What they don't know is that those worldly prosperity messages are being used to attract them to the broad highway that leads to the eternal lake of fire.

The path to eternal life in Christ is narrow and difficult. Those few believers who will inherit eternal life have a great personal relationship with Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour.

They are always studying the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And they live a life that does not emulate the world.

Many of these leaders preach a counterfeit gospel: one that promotes worldly values and pays lip service to the gospel of Christ.

The kingdom of darkness is always throwing curveballs at followers of Christ: its aim is to create fear and to have believers doubt God's faithfulness and ability to deliver them from difficult situations.

The hardships and persecutions faced by John the Baptist and the early Church should remind 21st-century believers that God knows all His children's travails.

Believers should also know that God's grace is sufficient in every situation. 

Therefore, they must never lose faith in God or run back to the world like Demas.

Just as God raised Jeremiah to proclaim His Word to the Kingdom of Judah and to denounce apostasy in the Kingdom of Judah, so has He raised many of His children to proclaim His word to the world and to denounce the apostasy in the 21st-century church organizations and denominations.

If you are a child of God, will you rise to the challenge? Do you have a burden for many who claim to be believers but are not?

Do you have a burden for the hundreds of millions held captive by organized apostate Christianity?

If you do have a burden, it is time to proclaim and contend for the Gospel of Christ once for all delivered to the saints.

We must follow the example of Jeremiah who was not deterred by life-long persecution by family, false prophets, religious and political leaders of his day.

False pastors and prophets have been selling 'anointing oil', 'Holy water', handkerchiefs, aprons, etc., to their followers. They claim that those items would heal and protect them.

Some of these false leaders have used those items to initiate their followers into witchcraft.

Children of God have been told how to know true and false pastors and prophets. Look to their actions and lifestyle.

The fruit of the Spirit, not the gifts of the Spirit, is the litmus test for determining who is a true child of God.

Children of God have these privileges: they are seated together in the heavenly places with Christ, they have direct access to God, they have authority over Satan, principalities, powers, evil spirits, and demons.

Yet, many still believe that their pastors/GOs have a more special relationship with God and that God answers their prayers more readily.

Having such a mindset makes them very vulnerable. They do whatever their pastors/GOs tell them to do even when those things are unbiblical.

The Church of God is a Theocracy. God relates directly with each of his children. It is apostasy to teach or believe otherwise. Anyone, pastors/GOs included, pretending to be an intermediary between his/her followers and God should repent. 

Children of God should tell other believers this truth: believers in Christ have a direct relationship with God. They must never see any person, pastors and GOs included, as intermediaries.

King Solomon, the richest and wisest human in the Bible realized that the dead can't carry material wealth and attributes to the grave.

He told us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that those things are meaningless and cannot fill the void in the lives of unbelievers and backsliders.

Solomon also told us that the whole duty of humans is to fear, worship, and serve God.

The void or emptiness in the lives of unbelievers and backsliders is caused by the absence of God.

Every human being should strive to receive God's seal, which God gives to those who accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour and who live their lives for Him.

God's seal is the only thing that matters after death.

Therefore, those who refuse His Son's sacrifice are condemned and will end up in the lake of fire.

Those who believe, obey God's commands, and seek to do God's will in every matter are wise: God is with them as they walk on the path of righteousness. The Holy Spirit helps them to pray right, chose right, live right, and avoid Satan's booby traps and worldly distractions.

In 1997, God used the publication of the book, The Threat of Darkness: Counterfeit Christianity Exposed, to warn His Church of the dangers of apostasy and to call His children to repent and return to the true gospel. And He would hear their prayers and heal Nigeria.

Rather than follow through, believers in Nigeria forgot His past mighty deliverances and went into alliances with Nigeria's military and political class to install evil and corrupt leaders in the country. In the process, many in leadership positions enriched themselves.

In 24 years, Nigeria's sociopolitical and economic situation has gone from bad to worse: terror, hopelessness and abject poverty across the land.

Today, God is asking His children to repent, break the yoke of bondage to their compromised pastors and pray for His deliverance once again.

Many Believing parents wrongly indulge their children. They bring them up in the ways of the world to love self and to follow their every desire.

Every believing parent has a responsibility to bring up their children in the fear of the Lord, while they are growing up.

Loving your child means teaching them kingdom values as set out in the Bible and showing them the practical example of a Christian life lived in obedience to God's commands.

God's love is the reason we did not have a pandemic for 100 years.

This present pandemic ravaging the world is a reminder that human beings are powerless without God.

But a greater pandemic awaits those who scorn God's love by refusing to accept His Son's sacrifice for their sins—an everlasting suffering in hell where no vaccine is available.

In the air, He will embrace His Bride - those who made God their first love and the Holy Spirit their Teacher. These ones proclaimed the gospel and obeyed the Lord's commands not minding the consequences. 

But for the cowardly and backslidden Christians, who loved and chose the world over their Saviour, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth as they contemplate eternal damnation.

But many members of His Body, addicted to worldliness and prosperity messages, are slumbering.

Because of apostasy in most, if not all, 21st-century buildings and denominations called churches, those desiring to inherit eternal life must seek God through fervent prayers so that He can teach and guide them as they study the Scriptures.

God's plan in the Bible was that the Holy Spirit should teach, help and guide each of His children individually.

But apostate Christianity usurped those roles.

Today, God is calling His children to awaken from their deep sleep because the coming days are evil: only the Holy Spirit can be trusted in these times of great anomie and apostasy.

The broadcast shows how Word of Faith preachers promoting anti-God and anti-Christ doctrines came into, polluted, and finally took over, bickering factional Pentecostal church organizations.

None of these Pentecostal groups can claim adherence to what Azusa proclaimed and did: Contending for the Gospel that Christ once for all delivered to the Apostles.

What we have today is Apostate Pentecostalism.

The broadcast asks you to seek the Lord's face to determine if the things said here are true or false.

If convicted by the Holy Spirit, pray the Father to help you to make your life to count for the Kingdom of God.

And the early Church also shunned the world and depended on the Holy Spirit as they preached the Gospel of Christ.

But denominations/church organizations both before the 16th century and the ones after the 16th century Reformation depended on the world and rejected the Holy Spirit.

Though rejected by apostate Christianity, the Holy Spirit continued to empower, help, teach and guide obedient followers of Christ through the centuries.

With the 1906 Azusa Street Revival, a Spirit Outpouring that was unlike any since the 1st Pentecost, the Holy Spirit exposed the denominations that made up apostate Christianity as well as confirmed that He is still the Empowerer, Teacher and Guide of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

But Satan and wolves in sheep clothing thought they could stop the Holy Spirit: they infiltrated the Church and started devouring the sheep. They fed them doctrines of demons and human beings.

For a season, Satan and organized Christianity thought they had succeeded. They made sure that the laity did not have access to the Scriptures.

But the Holy Spirit was working, raising and teaching faithful followers of Christ who contended for the faith once for all delivered to the saints by Christ, the Head of the Church.

At the appointed time, the lies of apostate Christianity were exposed by top theologians who had formerly been part of it. Some of them helped to translate the Scriptures into several languages.

With the arrival of the printing press in Europe, Bibles were mass-produced and everyone could now read God's word. 

Who can stop God and His plans?

Christ knew and warned that there would be an insurrection against His Church. He also assured His followers that all the powers of hell would not prevail.

In the early centuries following the death of the Apostles, rebellious elders and insurgents changed the meaning of church, denied the all-sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice, created two classes of Christians, merchandized God's grace and entered into an alliance with the world's rulers.

The consequences of that rebellion against the Holy Spirit continue to this day: sufferings, deaths, wars, earthquakes, plagues, famines, etc.

The broadcast asks believers to do due diligence: Is Christ the foundation of your denomination/church organization?

If He is not, it is time to flee from there, go to God in prayers and do as He tells you.
