Village Gathering in Colorado

It is time to get registered for our Village Gathering in Woodland Park, CO for June 28-30th! The details for the gathering are online, and more will come, so don't wait to book your travel and reserve your spot. We will host nannies for free, as always, and we are working on special childcare options for all ages between nursing and 12 years for this year's gathering.

Friends, it's time to get registered to come to our first Village Gathering this year in Corvallis, Oregon. The dates are April 26-29, but you need to register by February 14th to get the 10% discount! Costs go up every two weeks after that, so please register early and save.

The reason we host Village Gatherings is to get face time with those we love, and to help those we love get face time with one another. The beautiful part is that we invite you to bring your comrades, your partners in the journey, and to expand our family gathering. Please consider this a family invitation and don't send out a blanket invite to strangers, but rather to those you want to walk with. We are so happy to tell you that the launch of the new Worship Circle website has been a total success and we are still improving every week! We have hadd 22 new Contributors come on board since we launched on January 1, 2021 and that is one a day! Awesome. Recently we added a "featuring" lists on our front page for New Contributors and New Products so that it's easier to come and meet new folks. Also, notice the new "Sort By" feature at the bottom of the Browse pages...yes! Facebook is implemented on many of our products for recommending, Like, etc. as well as many other social sites and Twitter, too. When you come by it is a snap to send a quick note to a friend or share your love for favorite Worship Circle song, or for your favorite song of one of our New Contributors!

In a nutshell, it has been our dream for many, many years to stir up worship leading creatives to write, paint, film, and provide more worship tools for the family of God. This new site is a fulfillment of the dream. Enjoy.

Remember, the west coast Village Gathering, a spiritual family gathering rich with worship, conversations, prayer, and encounters, is coming up soon so read more and get registered to come.

Pray for us as we continue to encourage a rhythm of prayer in our community on Monday nights here in Woodland Park. Pray also that Robin's work teaching The Healing Path will continue to be atomically powerful (it has been so far!)

Our prayers and love go out to all our friends and family at the turn of the year. Happy New Year everyone!

2012 looks like a year of enjoyment!

First, enjoy our new website that may launch softly in the next couple days. It is so radically new and so amazingly helpful that we think it will reshape the way we all think of writing and sharing worship resources. Our Friends Network is not moving but it may get a makeover during the coming weeks.

Secondly, pick a Village Gathering this year and plan to attend. Pick four if you like, because that is how many we are planning to host. Registration for the first gathering will open in a few days for Corvallis, Oregon on April 26-29. We will post registration info first here at our Friends Network, and then later at a Facebook Village Gathering Group...

We are very thankful for you all this holiday season. Speaking of, I am unplugging from the machineand taking 7 days off with my family for Christmas break. The store is not shipping, the email is not being answered, and stuff is just generally not getting done. So nice.

Gatherings Announced for 2012, AKA, Worship@8500 Times Four

Friends, we wanted you all to be the first to find out about our plans to host not one, but four kingdom family events in 2012 in the spirit and exact direction as Worship@8500! After much debriefing and prayer and counsel post this year's Worship@8500 event we are very excited to announce events in:

Corvallis, Oregon: April 26-29, 2012

Colorado (TBA): June 28-July 1, 2012

High River, Canada: August 2012 (TBA)

The Great Midwest (TBA): October 2012 (TBA)

All of these events we are nicknaming "Village Gatherings" and we will explain that soon. The schedule is a little different: they will begin on Thursday night with a worship explosion and end on Sunday at noon after our last morning gathering together. The feel, focus, schedule, and expectations for each event are exactly what you have come to expect from Worship@8500, but we will not be all gathered in a single campground for our overnights together. We are working to keep the costs in line with all previous events, while providing each participant maximum flexibility in how they want to afford negotiable like food and lodging. More info will come soon, especially on the Oregon Village Gathering in April.

New Albums and New Number One!

Aaron Strumpel, the only, has release a new album that you don't want to miss. Remember, Aaron is not only featured on the second Chair and Microphone album (Vol. 2) but he is also a featured performer on the Fourth Circle. His new album is called Birds and is, of course, getting rave reviews all over the place. Find it.

Karla Adolphe's song You Are Mine has now moved to numero uno on the most popular song tracks from the CW's new show this season, Hart of Dixie. Nuts. Just like here song Safe Place bootlegged into a YouTube post has over 30,000 hits so far!

The song "You Are Mine" from our Enter the Worship Circle: Chair and Microphone, Vol. 3 album will be featured in the pilot of a new CW tv show called Hart of Dixie! Monday 9/26 at 9pm/8pm central. We don't really know what the show is all about, but the song is featured for quite a big block in a very important part of the pilot episode!

This song is written and performed by the amazing Karla Adolphe and it is the lead track on the album.

Worship@8500 A Success, and Ben and Robin back from China

Friends, we had a great June and July, and mostly because we were alongside many of you at our retreat in the high country at our family retreat we call Worship@8500. We had the maximum 180 adults registered and at least 50 kids and the place was packed with excitement and the stories and influence of so many. Thanks for making it such a huge success. As a reminder you can follow up with Doug and Rita Roberts or with Jack and Friede Taylor on their websites.

Robin and I had an incredible time in Chengdu, China and met some amazing people. Continue to pray for believers in China and the exploding growth and openness of the populations and culture toward Jesus. We saw many have dynamic encounters with God, receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and get seriously refreshed in the atmosphere of worship and family love. Kudos to the 24-7 Prayer team that we worked alongside on the trip.

June 25th, Saturday night, you can now plan to attend for one night only an amazing evening of worship, creativity, and encounter with all the beautiful people attending Worship@8500. This is the only alternative to a full weekend ticket, so if you can't come for the weekend please join us for this night!

Ben Pasley will be premiering his latest book Orphan Slave Son at a special price at the Worship@8500 event. Please Pray for us in Kashmir

Friends and prayer partners, please pray for us as we depart for a 14 day trip to Kashmir on Wednesday. Ben Pasley, Robin Pasley, Gary Adolphe, and Holly Morrell will function together as a ministry team focused on laying foundations of encouragement and the Kingdom in the Church in Kashmir. As you know that is a volatile area for westerners, especially Christians, right now and we would like your prayer support for protection and courage, but we would like you pray for these things specifically:

That the Church in Kashmir would be built up and trained more for maturity and works of service according to Ephesians 4.

That the Church of Kashmir would receive the Holy Spirit, and the foundations of the apostles and prophets as Christ requires.

That our team would be resourced financially, with energy, with courage, with words, with hand to hug and hold, and in every way to do what God has called us to accomplish all while at rest.

Thank you people for being our people. Please mark you calendars and pray, consider the Father's encourgements to give to support the trip, and find Kashmir on a world map and pray that the Kingdom would come there just as it is in Heaven.

This is a worship album written from the heart of the Psalmist. Thanks, question, pain, and progress are all interwoven here. This is not a big corporate worship album or a shiny Nashville production. It is a live recording with no overdubs capturing the singular, terrific force of Tim Coon's vocals and passion in his own conversation with God. Folk singer-song writer, Tim Coons, gives an intimate performance in this live recording that features his unique song writing skills on both piano and guitar. Produced as the fourth album in this stripped-down series of Psalmic worship.
