Short Piano Prayer Interlude

Deb (our SEC - Services and Environments Cooridnator, among other things) asked me to come up with a short piano interlude they could use in KidJam for prayer time â€¦ around 30 seconds or so.

I pulled out my trusty ProTools and SampleTank plugin and composed this â€¦ itâ€™s more like 45 seconds, but can be faded. Just thought Iâ€™d share it â€¦ maybe you could close your eyes, play it, pray â€¦ and take a 45-second siesta with God.

Hello Worshipers of the Living God,

Tonight’s podcast was recorded spontaneously from the studio here at Highest Praise Productions. As usual, it’s spontaneous, heartfelt worship, prayer, meditation, and ministry. As a producer and musician who is easily self conscious of my “excellence” in music, singing (my lesser gift!), etc … I’ve always tried to just focus more on the ministry here. This is not supposed to be a perfectly mixed, tuned, produced podcast - it’s raw … it’s authentic … it’s totally unrehearsed … and may the Lord be magnified through it.

This episode of Worship Interludes focuses on the restorative character of God.

Hello Worshipers of the Living God,

As I led worship tonight we come to a place around 13:00 into the episode where I began to feel a strong, prophetic voice that the listeners needed to release some hurts, pains, and unforgiveness. Although the entire podcast was about worship, devotion, repentance, and love for God - when I found myself in that segment - the latter half .. I knew that it was the main purpose of this episode.

As a Worship Leader, I often can know that there will be one special song - one special moment where “God is going to show up”. Granted, God was already there before we arrived, and He’ll always be there when we leave - but I hope even though it’s a bit “churchy” to say something like that - you know what I mean.

Enjoy the time in God’s Presence. May He minister greatly to you.
