My client is seeking an experienced trade show Expo Exhibitions project manager for their ever-increasing client base and work load. They are nestled in the SE Hertfordshire countryside and you must be able to or willing to live close by within easy commuting distance (direct trains from London Liverpool Street – approx. 40 minutes each way and close by to the nearest mainline station in Herts) and they offer flexible working too.

You will need to have experience in delivering exhibits, have very strong client handling skills and be familiar with the full project life cycle.

You will be versatile and flexible in approach and be used to delivering at the highest possible level to demanding clients.

Your experience will span all aspects of exhibit project management: budgeting; client/studio liaison to advance layouts and designs; specifications, costings, drawings, liaison with contractors and all manner of the technical aspects of delivering exhibit projects; graphics and print; onsite management of contractors during the build and breakdown; reconciliation and debrief process.

You will possess strong negotiation skills and know how to lead and manage value engineering initiatives.

Previous experience of working within the pharma and automotive; or financial sectors would be desirable for these particular set of clients.

My client is a London-based boutique designer internationally renowned for their beautifully crafted 3D exhibition stands. They need a passionately creative and experienced 3D designer to join them. The lead 3D creative is getting busier in January / February 2017 therefore an accomplished band of freelance from which to draw upon is also required this will be for pitches that are due in, so if you’re a freelancer with provable experience of pitch winning 3D design for bespoke trade show exhibitions, please contact us for more information.

This privileged and fantastic opportunity is ONLY open to creative designers who have credible experience of 3D design for custom build exhibition stands. You will need to bring the experience and capability to run your own Trade show exhibition design projects from brief to finished design. 3D visualisation skills are needed in your portfolio too, ideally Vectorworks/C4D but most 3D visualisation packages will be OK such as 3D S Max on PC.

You’ll be taking briefs from their prestigious list clients, so you’ll need to be confident with senior executives and have belief in your own creativity and abilities.

My client is a full service exhibition stand contractor based in a Rural location in Hertfordshire They specialise in the design and construction of custom-built exhibition stands and worldwide event logistics.

My client is a small but rapidly expanding business and they have a career opportunity for someone keen to get involved in many aspects of exhibition stand, project management and construction; a strong and experienced PM with good technical knowledge is the most likely candidate.

As an important member of the project management team, you will work on creating and subsequently delivering a variety of exhibition projects with several of the Agency’s key clients. This role will include project management. The Role The Project Manager is responsible for implementing the complete project end to end process and has primary responsibility for ensuring the project’s objectives are delivered on time and within budget. They are responsible to the Account Director / Manager or Producer on a particular project. The Project Manager has ownership of, and responsibility for the practical implementation of the project. The Project Manager should have a comprehensive overview of all the detail involved with a project and should ensure that all aspects of the production process are implemented to The agency’s high production standards. Working with the operations team, the Project Manager has a responsibility to ensure that company resources are assigned efficiently without compromising production values.

Who are you? • You’ll manage individual projects across a diverse range of business sectors from initial pitch through to on-site delivery and post project review. • You’ll work with the Creative Department and Project Producer to produce pitch and proposal documents. • You’ll push the boundaries regarding the creative interpretation of a client’ brief with the aim of exceeding their expectations. • You’ll keep up to date with emerging technologies and new scenic construction techniques. • You’ll attend site visits and client meetings. • You’ll become a trusted adviser, supporting the Producer / Account Manager in all matters related to the technical delivery, scenic construction and logistics involved in the project. • You’ll manage project budgets and to maximise profit for the company, without compromising the Agency’s event production values. • You’ll understand the commercial structure of individual client contracts and to ensure that the project team offer a solution consistent with that contract. • You’ll liaise between Production, Creative, Set and Technical Departments to ensure that all aspects of a project are successfully integrated and executed. Provide the communications link for all individuals and suppliers involved on a project ensuring consistency. • You’ll ensure technical implementation and ‘set & environment’ build excellence on every project. • You’ll assist the Account Director in managing existing accounts to a high standard and developing long-term client relationships. • You’ll manage and contract suppliers in line with the Agency’s policies. • You’ll assist with the continual improvement of the production processes. • You’ll work to ISO 9001 and 20121 standards. • You’ll ensure high safety standards are maintained for all individuals involved with the project including the Agency’s personnel, clients, venue staff and members of the public. This will involve producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements specific to the tasks involved within the project.

• A full UK driving license is required.

I have discovered that this role is more about structural engineering than anything else, you’ll need to know about ‘safe working loads’ on rigging and winches etc. plus sound and AV knowledge

More of an emphasis on 3D Design for Custom and Modular/ system (Octanorm) exhibition stands.

You’ll be designing and visualising custom and Octanorm exhibition stands from 12m2 to 1200 M2 – mainly working out of the UK in EMEA plus The Near and Far East. Skills you MUST bring are 3D Studio Max plus AutoCad and Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office for emails, Word, Excel and Power Point; any 2D/Graphic design experience is great to have for this role and will add a real advantage to your application.

The location is easy from London (25 Minutes by train) OR only 10 minute’s drive from J10 of the M25 and it’s very near to Surbiton in Surrey.
