You’ll be experienced in event logistics and have a real eye for detail and be a meticulous planner because in this role you’ll be planning and delivering the logistics for 150+ events a year. These are all UK based and quite small scale but nevertheless, for a demanding and high profile client.

IT skills need to be good and you’ll need to be near-expert at MS Excel plus you’ll be able to create time and cost schedules and work in progress systems.

Award Ceremony Helpline operators

One of the premier international events agencies is running an awards Ceremony event for one of their central Government clients. As part of the event management programme, they will offer a telephone helpline for applicants over the period 22nd February 2010 for 7 days, 9 am to 9 pm and then again the following week until end of Friday 5th March.

They wish to appoint 2 people to operate the telephone helpline, taking in bound calls from Award Applicants and helping them with their on line application or simply answering a question. The work will be on a split-shift rotation – NOT a 12-hour day!!

Full training will be give in the week commencing 15th February for half a day (the date is yet to be set).

You will need to be bright, intelligent, able to think quickly and have a helpful disposition, and of course, an impeccable telephone manner.

The successful people appointed to this role will be working alongside the event production team of the agency and there is a real opportunity that longer term event production work will arise for you, and a good chance it may lead onto a permanent position- how good is that?
