Rohit Tandon a famous Delhi ;lawyer is accused for hiding crores of black or untaxed money in his office. In october he had reportedly declared unaccounted sum of 125 crores to the income tax department after frequent raids in his home and office .

The income tax department has raided this famous lawyer office once again on December 10 after getting a tip from an unknown person asking them to raid Mr. Tandons office to en light untaxed money . The income tax department was shocked to find 14 crores of black money in which two crores are of new two thousand notes. Mr. Tandon was not at office at the time of raid he saw the whole episode of raiding in his office in his phone which is being captured by the cctv in his office.

Mr. Tandon while questioned by the IT officer answered that he can account for the money found in his office and some of it also belongs to his clients. The lawyer has a close relationship with Parasmal Lodha a Kolkata based business man who was previously arrested for money laundering. Mr. Lodha helped him to convert 2.62 crores in banned notes both of these are connected to a Chennai business man J. Sekhar Reddy.

A manager of Kotak Mahindra bank was also arrested for helping Mr. Tandon and Mr. Reddy who helped them in converting 25 crores in old notes. While common people are are standing up in lines for hours together in the banks for collecting money in new currency notes,these 3 people are found having huge amounts of new currency notes with them.

IT firing on Axis bank

According to reports, IT was able to trace these fake companies because black money evaders had mostly used multiple branches of Axis bank for transactions.

It has been more than a month after Narendera Modi announcing that the big currency notes are no more into use which turned the economy up side down in order to control the black money corruption and other illegal activities.Meanwhile, banks that are supposed to facilitate the proper implementation of demonetisation, have now come under the scanner for helping the influential convert black money into white.

About 12 fake accounts have been found in Axis Bank’s Krishna Nagar branch. Before that, over 20 fake companies had their accounts in Axis Bank’s Noida branch and an amount of more than Rs 60 crores were deposited in these accounts. Earlier in December, two Axis Bank managers in New Delhi were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate officials, after they investigated a racket that involved the illegal conversion of currency notes. A Kolkata Axis Bank branch deputy manager was also reportedly arrested for his alleged involvement in converting black money into white through unverified company accounts.

A chartered plane carrying Brazilian first division football team crashed at Medellin while the players on board are to attend the finals of a regional tournament,resulted in killing 71 people, and there were only six survivors in the crash.

The British Aerospace 146 short-haul plane, maintained by a charter airline "LaMia", declared an emergency and lost radar contact just before 10 pm on Monday resulting an electrical failure, aviation authorities said.

The aircraft, which had taken off from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, was transporting 68 people excluding 9 crew members in which the Chapecoense team from southern Brazil to defend Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional of Medellin, which was due to be played on Wednesday.

The Medellin mayor Federico Gutierrez said that what was supposed to be a celebration turned into a tragedy from the search and rescue command center.

Among the six survivors was a Chapecoense defender named Alan Ruschel, who doctors said suffered spinal injuries and two goal keepers Marcos Danilo and Jackson Follmann, and a member of the team's delegation and a Bolivian flight attendant, also survived the crash. However one of the goal keeper named Marcos Danilo died a short time later.

Also killed was Tiago de Rocha Viera, a 22-year-old forward of the Brazilian team . A video spread online of Rocha thrilled reaction knowing one week before the crash that his wife Graziele was pregnant with their first child. The plane was carrying 68 passengers and nine crew members. Four other people listed on the flight manifest did not board the plane. Twenty-one of the passengers were journalists, of whom just one survived.

The head of Columbia's aviation authority Alfredo Bocanegra, he says that the initial report states that the flight crash took place due to the aircraft suffering with some electrical problem although the investigators are investigating for any other problem the flight could have been crashed whereas one of the survivor states that the flight crashed happened due to lack of fuel before five minutes from its expected landing at Jose Maria Cordova airport near Medellin.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N.Chandrababu Naidu said every official in the government, from village officer to the State Chief Secretary must work with unified spirit to achieve desired results. Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru campaign, he said, forms basis to achieve it.

In a teleconference with the district collectors and government officials, the Chief Minister gave some directions. He directed the officials to visit villages at field level once in every week or 10 days to analyze the actual conditions.

Stating that it must be a continuous process, he asked the officials to submit a report on how swiftly they have redressed a complaint that was received during the Gramasabhas. "We should have transparency in the process. The ultimate goal is to satisfy the needs of the people. To achieve this, we are organizing Grama Sabhas at such massive scale, which is a big feat in the country” he said.

Meanwhile, he suggested the officials to give grading to each village based on the 20 growth indicators. He asked the officials to ensure water mapping is done in every village and information on the water resources is timely informed to the local people. He also directed the officials to monitor the construction of roads for 3 km every day, in the villages and submit daily reports.

27,000 employees covering are regularly uploading data from village-level, if necessary, take the help of local engineering colleges, he added. He also suggested to identify best partners in "Smart Village ward-start 'program and felicitate them at the district level.

With an aim to bring a global investor outlook to Andhra Pradesh to make it best business destination by 2050, Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu said that he aims to transform Andhra Pradesh into a manufacturing and exports hub.

The Chief Minister held a meeting at his office in Vijayawada to review the preparatory arrangements for the CII Partnership Summit from January 10, 11 and 12. He suggested officials to hold an elaborate discussion on means to increase India’s exports on par with China.In this regard, he stressed on the need to strengthen the coastal region for giving thrust to the manufacturing sector in the state.

The three-day convention must be aimed at bringing in a slew of investments for the state, he added. The officials informed the Chief Minister that they are inviting 976 delegates to the convention. 224 delegates from 37 countries are arriving to attend the Partnership Summit, they said.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to invite business tycoons, heads of IT and manufacturing companies and prominent people in the industry sector. He suggested the officials to prepare an innovative and professional invitation for the delegates. For this, he said, to train local students and use their talent.

The three-day CII Summit will also hold discussion on drafting Indian global manufacturing strategy, global financial architecture, financing for growth strategy. Indian Government to Admit Private Train Operators in First Bullet Train Corridor

The Indian government has decided to start India's first bullet-train corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to admit private train operators for the 1st time. As per the decision, Indian Railways will operate the bullet train corridor for 5 years after it is started. After that private operators will run the service , the onboard services, fares etc.,.

Japan, which is funding 81 per cent of this project, also has private operators running the Shinkansen. The Arvind Panagariya-led Committee, which had approved the project, has incorporated this policy move which has subsequently been approved by the Cabinet.

Railways will execute a policy, which will enable the private operators to come in and either share revenue with or pay a certain amount of fee to the national transporter for this service. Prime Minister Narendra Modi told that as per the official timeline, the service is expected to commence by 2022.
