Hi everyone!

I’m hoping it is allowed in this forum but I was hoping to get some feedback on a new startup we launched last month. The site is http://www.webpub.com and it is a free tool that keeps WordPress auto upgraded, can install wordpress on any host, and other general management tools.

We have spent over a year building the backend into an API on top of FTP that is going to allow us to do just about anything. Right now the tool supports only WordPress but it can be expanded for any script. We are currently working on expanding the file management system so that it can install themes and keep them auto upgrades. Plus an open marketplace for everyone and cool features like white label versions for theme groups, designers, and more.

So what I was hoping to get feedback on:
- General thoughts? I know that WP has a great upgrade area, but it still doesn’t handle it automaticly yet.
- What features do you value most? Backups and restores? Additional security monitoring?

Any inputs would be a big help, anyone who helps we will be giving a Pro account free for ever. (It’s a fermium product right now but eventually will have pro plans for additional websites and so on).

Over the next week before SF a lot more documentation and UI improvements are coming too,
Thanks, Ben

This is actually a separate company and this works with any hosting company :) , so you can actually enjoy it right now!

It will be exiting beta in 30 days too!
Thanks, Ben
