I got started with Bluehost then they suddenly suspended my account without warning, claiming that I had violated their terms of service. I had to get them on the phone to find out why, and they claimed it’s because the IP address I used when I signed up with came from a different country than my one my contact information is in.

Guess what guys, it’s a WORLD WIDE Web and it’s OK to use IP addresses from different countries. Furthermore I read their Terms of Service and this is NOT a violation.

This is seriously uncool that a hosting company would suspend a customer’s website WITHOUT checking with that customer FIRST about a concern! Especially when they’re in the wrong! I immediately moved my hosting elsewhere.

Recently, the WP servers at Godaddy have been INCREDIBLY slow and laggy. When I call they try to blame my installed plugins. But after disabling them all, I still find the site loads very slow. I am looking for a different hosting company.

Been with Site5 for about 6 months now, and all this time, they have been nothing short of perfect! THey have gone well overboard in helping resolve issues. The support staff checks up on you after a few days to make sure your issue was resolved. They’re nice, helpful and very easy going. The service and performance is fantastic too. I just can’t say enough good things about these guys. As long as they remain this way, I will never switch hosting providers!

To me, after being online over 10 years, I can honestly say that Site5 is by far the best company we’ve ever hosted with. I promise you, if you give them a shot, you won’t be sorry!

Can confirm servers sometimes too slow, vague answers from Costumer server when call to solve the slowness problem that I stopped now calling them.
To add their marketing email are a bit too spammy and pushy like making you feel you are going to loose your domain if you don’t renew …4-5 months in advance.
Their prices are competitive.

I formerly used godaddy, for about 2 years.

Their pricing was steep but I tried to convince myself they had some benefit. The control panels are undeniably cluttered and confusing to navigate. Their customer support will respond quickly but ultimately not helpful (they’ll just refer you to an article that is hardly related to your issue).

They officially support internet censorship (and then tried to cover it up, admitting days later that they are still in support). Search google for “Godaddy Sopa”

They think you’re stupid. Just watch the commercials. “Use godaddy to because (hot girl)”.

FInally moved my last domain away. Will never look back

I have had two domains with Go Daddy and years ago when I got my first domain with them they were an awesome company offering real solutions, good prices, and great customer service and help.

But now, years later, they seem to have gotten greedy and are putting customer service last and their own selfish concerns first.

Recently when I wanted to cancel one domain I have with them, but had mislaid the passwords to the account, I called their customer support who told me to basically drop dead.

CS was incredibly rude and unhelpful and cheerfully told me that they were going to continue charging my CC forever and that neither they nor I could do anything about it.

I now have to cancel the credit card they are charging then renew it under another card number to escape their unauthorised charges.

I would NEVER recommend anyone to use this company unless they enjoy being taken advantage of, being abused by their staff, and paying for services you do not want and if you like being told to drop dead. I hope that this arrogant and greedy way of doing business and treating customers like dirt spells their ruin.

HostGator has made my WordPress experience very easy to work with. Their C-panel is a joy to work with. It is a fully managed solution designed to take your business to the next level.

Rochen is expensive if you look at just the price. For the price I paid for hosting 3 domains, I could have gotten, unlimited domain, unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and even free IP from some other hosts.

But I stick with Rochen. Unlimited bandwidth means if unfortunately your site is placed with a few high traffic sites, your site will be very very very slow. I have hosted with another popular hosts before and I have problems accessing my site hosted there.

The customer service is excellent, and reply to you very quickly even if you just send in a “normal” ticket to them.

Highly recommended, and you will never look back.
