Think about it, you are creating a world inside your book that is both believable and inviting!

Born in Rochester, NY. RM Secor has had a passion for writing since he was 5 years old. Moving around a lot as a child has given him a overwhelming abundance of characters and knowledge. Moving away as a small child from New York to Texas was a big thing for a small boy, along with his older brother, Scott. But as kids they just adapted to where ever they went. Eventually moving to Oklahoma, then to Colorado, and then onto Tennessee. From there his parents moved back up to Rochester, NY.

After completing High School, RM Secor signed up with the military. Completed boot camp from Fort Leonard Wood, MI, (also known as Fort lost in the woods), There is nothing in life more determined to make you grow up fast other then a Drill Sergeant in your face. To this day the teachings he received from them has outlined his daily life. 9 weeks of Hell, and it was off to AIT school. From there RM Secor has performed a few different roles in the military from being an ammo specialist, to refueling helicopters, and ending up flying the machines. He has taken writing courses to help aid him in his journey as an author from McGraw Hill and has a BS Degree in Computer Science.

All this time up to now has carved his image of who he is today. He is the proud father of a 15 year old boy, Cley Jonathan Secor, who is active in soccer. Hoping one day that he follows in his footsteps. This series of stories began with “The Death of an Agent“, and after public demand “Multiple Danger” is out, and in stores. In the works is “High Grounds“, the third book in this espionage/terrorism thriller series.

Vancouver rain, dark and damp fills the air. It’s 4 am and yet another night filled without sleep. Flashes of lightning fill the bedroom like silouettes of boundless energy. The wind howls outside as another clap of thunder crashes in the distant. God, not another night without sleep Alex thinks to herself. Months of countless overtime pouring over work. When does it end? What have I been missing? Were the reports thorough enough? All these thoughts race through her head. The grand jury convenes in less than a week and there isn’t enough evidence to form even the weakest case against the department.

I’ve got to get some rest…

There is no way I can go another hour without sleep. I’m going to crawl into bed and throw the covers over myself and close my eyes and forget about everything. Even through Alex’s closed eyes she can see the flashes of lightning as loud thunderous booms rattle the windows causing goose bumps to rise all over her arms. This is not going to work! She throws the covers off herself, then slides to the side of the bed and sits up. Suddenly another lightening bolt streaks the sky and illuminates the bedroom. Oh god, not another one. Alex places her hands over her ears as the thunder crashes like a judge’s mallet hammering the court to obey order. It was now evident that she would need to stay up all night and gather all the evidence to come up with a case that would be able to cross examine the allegations against the department. The only thing that would do would be strong coffee; and that she rarely drank.

The question is would it do the trick?

Alex grabs her bath robe from the back of the bedroom door and proceeds to makes her way down to the kitchen. As Alex makes her way to the kitchen, whispers of wind bathe her sending chills up and down her body. Why are the floors wet? Alex thinks to herself. Suddenly a startled Alex realizes that she is not alone…

Just as Alex reaches for the light switch she hears an unfamiliar voice…..

Don’t… listen, and you won’t be harmed…

Fear now turns to anger… Alex demands from this stranger in her house… “What are you doing here?” The stranger exclaims in a commanding voice…”You know why I’m here.”

Silence encapsulated the room as Alex stood there in the dark wondering what was going to happen to her. The only sound that was intensifying was the rain smacking against the kitchen window sill.

I have no idea who you are or why you are here.

Before I learned how to fly planes….wait…that’s not me!

I was born in Mansfield, Ohio where kids learn to downhill ski as soon as they can walk. While I was still a young girl, my mother, sister and I moved to Columbus where kids join a ski club and go to Mansfield to ski. When it became more difficult for me to get to the hills to ski, I took up running and have been running ever since. It was quite a few years after finishing high school before I was able to go to college. For nine years, I went to school in the evenings and weekends while working full time. The end result was a Bachelor’s Degree in organizational communications with a minor in psychology from Capital University, and a Master’s Degree in the science of marketing and communications from Franklin University. Both of these universities are located in Columbus, Ohio. I had married my childhood sweetheart, Gregory, just before beginning my college adventures and he was wonderful support throughout the journey.

Today, Gregory, who is also a writer, and I live in a cozy little ranch home on 3.5 acres surrounded by a stream in a rural area just south of beautiful Circleville, Ohio. We enjoy spending as much free time as possible with each other and our adopted dogs. The area where we live is a hiker’s paradise. While running is still a strong passion of mine, I feel like I am starting all over…learning how to run the hills. Of course, other passions of mine include reading and writing. My first novel, Wicked Dreams was published in 2005 and I am hard at work on my next book, the Hills of Circleville. For more information about these works, please see the “Written Creations” page on my Web Site, www.amycooperonline.com

Now he is faced with a more adamant terrorist-Amanda, former FBI double agent gone bad. Jim is going to have to deal with an ex-lover on a mission to end his life or anyone’s life that gets in the way of her revenge for him taking her man away from her, while searching for his brother being held a hostage, who he has never seen. Jim is also faced with multiple danger and many obstacles to overcome that are governed by time if he wishes to spoil the terrorist’s plot. Writing a lot takes discipline, because writing can actually be hard work- but very satisfying. Setting up a routine for writing is important; it is very easy to find something else to do besides writing. A compulsion to write is very useful.

Becoming a skilled typist (on a word processor) is extremely useful to a writer.

MOLD

You are found in the dark and wet
yet you grow against all bets.

You don’t care what other’s think
for you think you are ugly in shape
and stink.

Trees and dark corners beware
as you claim them as your lair.

Many try to dispose of you
but fail to see that they have no clue.

When all seems gloom and lost
you tend to reappear as the boss.

No one sees why you fight to live
for surely you have lot’s to give.

So why do you exist against all odds
haven’t you seen that you’re not a god.

You ask yourself why you are called mold.
You maker says it is because you are so bold.

If it wasn’t for your name mold,
you might not even exist or even be told.

So keep on growing against all odds and see
for one day you will break the mold and be free.
