The week of Febr. 12, '12 I had a repeating dream/night vision, given of Holy Spirit. I would categorize it as a night vision because it was only one scene that I repeatedly was awoken by!

I was 'in the air view' just off the Seattle Space Needle top. I was watching there a man standing on the top ledge, wearing a safety harness; I knew he was a window washer, having his various cleaning tools / equipment strapped to his body, his tool belts.

I had great fear that he might fall, and what kept awakening me was my trying to convey (to him and others / someone?) that he needed, needed, needed a second safety cable. That is, not just the harness, but also a second cable in the case that one or the other should give way.

I would awaken just as he would be beginning his decent from the ledge to lower parts where he was to 'clean windows' – sometimes with, and sometimes without that second safety cable! All the while it seemed I was in charge of his safety, I was giving direction to him and others who stood by (somewhere?). It was my responsibility.... I kept awaking with safety instructions and directions coming from my speech as I watched this repeating scene, over and over.....

At this time, I feel the dream scene speaks to need for our prayers for safety to surround men and women of high vision (high tower overview = space needle). For their safety (harness & cable), whilst in the getting of clear, clean (washed windows) God' vision for today, and the days ahead.

I was born and raised in Seattle, so I am not sure if The Lord used these 'familiar-to-me' dream symbols in a general way, or if the message is particularly for us here in the greater Seattle area, although it has come to my mind and heart this week that the Space Needle, and the Seattle World's Fair of 1962 occured 50 years ago, come this April 2012 – when there will be some public remembrances of that time in Seattle.

The number 50 biblically speaks to jubilee, a year of jubilee. ~This is most certainly something to be excited about, and to pray concerning: safety leading to clean vision for a time of jubilee, celebration. "Yes, Lord Jesus"

A prophet

As I was communing with Lord, I was shown in a vision a person seated and alone, and this person appeared as if almost a bronze statue to me, but this person was definitely moving, breathing, and alive, living. In many ways this person looked like that statue of 'The Thinker' if you have seen that, however

this person I saw had both hands to the sides of their head, elbows on knees, as if in stress with some anguish, and deep contemplations. I saw tears falling from beneath their cupped bent face.

And the Lord spoke to me saying,

'This is my prophet who is tried in My intimate Fire and thus burnished in appearance...inside and outside. My prophet is proven of My Love.
... Look again, daughter'

I did so. I watched and saw this lone person, this prophet, arise to their feet throwing their arms out straight to each side, palms up, lifting their face fully heavenward. What a face! I will not even try to describe, but as I watched all this I also saw the light dance upon different areas of the burnished bronze appearance of this prophet, as this bronze person stood and raised their arms -- and I could see some of the prophets bones exposed intermittently, in these high-points of light as the prophet moved. I saw then, these bones were white-hot with heat, as had been Jeremiahs. - end of vision.

Jeremiah, "Then I said, "I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name." But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not." - Jer. 20:9

This is what I've understood as I've asked The Lord to open more to me of this brief, yet very 'impression-ed into me' vision.....
SOMETIMES this is the way of The Word in a prophet (not always nor every time, but sometimes)

When a prophet receives a Word to give the people, what most of us may not know of (unless you are a prophet, that is ), is that the prophet often has suffered with weeping much, mixed with glory filled exhilaration?s, in wrestling, in wakefulness, in joy, in interceding, during sleep, anguish, dull moments of tension, all wrapped in great Love of God, HIS? Voice to prophet friend ? plus the more, much more. For the Word from The Lord comes to, and then later through the servant prophet with a fiery burnished hot personal price.

This is "Love" (I Cor. 13:1) expressed in passion; Extreme burned Love for God first and foremost in the prophet and as expressed by the prophet to HIS? Lord and God, and then following this, The Word is shed abroad in love for the brethren saints, and then too in love spoken to the world and the lost.

Even though you or I may not see the preceding God' 'process in the prophet' as the Word is forming unto birth; The prophet -- the people wept over, and the cries to The Lord by the prophet being implored, for HIS' Justice with Mercy, the prophetic Word being worked into the prophet thoroughly and hotly by God beforehand, this is so.

We may be privileged to hear and receive the finished Word, or a portion of it ....... Word from our Lord, when shared through HIS? prophet messenger.

These God "working's" of great pain, anguish with exultation's interspersed in the servant-prophet-messenger, are hidden from most people's view - for he/she (prophet) will not speak much concerning that part - - Later, no one is listening to the prophet on personal levels much in the aftermath of delivering God's message, because the people are occupied with the prophecy, 'Word of God' received .... and thus it is, and rightly so.

The true prophetic Word of God through our Lord's servant prophets, whether joy-filled or the heavy and hard to take, and/or both,,,,,,,,,, will be sure......as it comes through the burnished servant minister, the prophet, at great personal cost ............. and will plant piercingly into the hearts of men and women of good soil.

Having shared this vision and the further, I want to emphasize, that the prophet will NOT be alone from other saints in his or her life, anymore than any of us are to be separate from one another in Christ' Body today. For how can Christ Body not function together?? Simple truth, - Eph. 4:16. But, the receiving and working out of the Word; God to prophet, is most lonely of human influence. -- even as this bronzed-like shining person I was shown in vision was seated alone. One on one, God' Word and message to prophet, and thus it is, and again, most rightly so.

Dear reader, if you meet and hear 'a prophet', do listen and weigh, also considering the 'prophet' with some understanding; understanding some of the fire of Christ Jesus which this one, the prophet, holds in their very heart and bones at some great personal cost's. -- of our LORD's Love and doing's.

Our Lord dearly Loves His servant messengers (see as reference: the whole bible :-).

Jesus speaks,
"He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward." - Mt. 10:41

Jesus is a cowboy ...

(repost) During corporate praise and worship some years ago, I was given this Holy Spirit revelation ... Personally speaking, I will never perceive of a lasso-ing American cowboy quite the same again ! . I post this in hope & trust that it will minister to some of you who may read ....

I saw Jesus standing, very tall of stature He was, in the front of the room, (right in front of the piano).... Jesus was swinging over His head a large rope lasso or lariat, just like a cowboy ! ... and very expertly too. I saw it was a red rope.
Suddenly He threw His rope / lariat over the congregation..... a person reached their arms up and grabbed His rope, and He had this one 'caught' then......

Slowly he began roping in this person to Himself, hand over hand, roping them in...... when this person reached His side Jesus then took the red rope and began wrapping it around and around His own body and this person's body, tie-ing this person and Himself together, till this person was tightly bound to His right side, and under His arm.......and, Jesus spoke to me,

"Yes, this is like my rope of blood covenant, which Father and I have extended to you. For We have first loved you and offered our covenant to you ...... you did not come presenting yourself as an offering first, no - We, Your Lord, have offered and extended out to you blood covenant Firstly, - even as you saw me thrust My lariat in this picture I've shown you. The person you saw 'caught' by Me, reached out in faith believing, for My yoke.......even as you and many have come through My Blood and partnered with Me.

Now, look again.......?

I looked and saw Jesus throw His rope into another place in the congregation - this person raised their arms and received His yoke of the red rope.......but, at one point, as they were being drawn in by Jesus they veered off to one side and then bounced off from there to go still another direction....
Again, I saw as He threw His rope into another area, and the next person was coming along towards Him when they were suddenly caught up in what looked like a great mass of tangled picture hanging wire (like a ball of very tangled yarn).....

The third time I saw Him catch a person in yet another area of the group with His yoke/rope and begin to bring them in......this one, seemed to dig their heels into a ditch and refused to be dragged further - This person looked like a water skier who leans back, knees bent, resisting in this case the pull of Jesus rope.....

In all three of these scenes Jesus stopped pulling the person when these events occurred, but HE NEVER LET GO of HIS end of the RED ROPE.

Then Jesus, with a great huge smile on His face, would give a slight tug or two of the rope and once again the person would be 'on track' towards Him; and Jesus spoke,

"This is no contest, you see ? I will bring you in and rope you and bind you to my side, it is just a matter of how quickly you will cooperate with Me in our covenant, now.

In this place I desire to bind you to myself for the day and times you find yourself living in. All who know Me have been in this place at My side many many times before in your walk with Me, even from the first day you believed in Me - when My covenant was first extended to you...

But now, today, I desire a people who will be bound so close to Me in covenant 24/7 !

Yes, this is so! Twenty four hours a day...seven days a week.

It is Truth that My yoke is easy and My burden light.

This place, bound to me, is where your head is laid easily upon My heart and you Hear My Words.

This place is under My Right Arm of protection and provision for you.

This place is where all of your needs are met in Me...no matter what those needs are. ALL of your needs, I say......

This is the place where I stick closer to you than a natural brother, you see.

For this is My secret place, reserved just for you, where you were birthed in the very water and blood which flowed from My pierced side on the cross..... and If you can receive this, as much as you need to be in this place of intimate covenant now, I Myself need and require you here by My side now too. This is necessary for the times and seasons of what We must and will be about together, my beloved ones. I need you and I love you. So, I ask you now to lay aside all weights and hindrances and your own good plans and come running into this place of close intimate covenant with Me, and be under My Wing 24/7........

Now, look again........?

So I looked and I saw the person bound to Jesus side with the many layers of red rope binding them together ... this person then turned around and now they were facing the Throne of Father.....This person then raised their arms up towards the throne and cried out, "Oh, Father, Father I come to You with request......"

I did not see The Father or His Throne, I only 'knew that I knew'.......and then I felt The Father look upon this person. The Father saw His Son Jesus and the Blood covenant rope binding this person to Jesus side. Then I *felt* Abba's Heart swell with pride and great huge waves of melting power love then emanated from Him out and over this person. And all that Father spoke then was,

"I am Your Father.

You are My child.

I am your Father.

You are My child.

For I see My Son. I see His Blood. I see Our covenant. Your request is answered for I have given all things to My Son......Turn now, and go and walk, and step and live and perform and speak The Word in the authority of My Son.

I saw this person turn back around then, and the voice of Father was behind them now, still speaking,

"You are bound to My Son,

Therefore,?.I am Your Father and you are My child."

After this, the vision now began to repeat itself, with Jesus drawing/roping this person in and binding them tightly to Himself, around and around with the red rope of blood covenant......but this time, when He was finished, Jesus then placed a huge brilliant sword in this persons hand and as this person clasped it, pointing the sword outwards, Jesus own right Hand was over and covering this persons hand, on the hilt.....

,..? and they were wielding the sword? together.

WORD OF WARNING TO THE PROPHETS - July 14, 2010

Yesterday at 6:41pm
HEAR THE VOICE OF THE LORD:
I am sending this Word out to all of My called prophets. You MUST keep your "ears" tuned to the wind, the voice of My Spirit. I am speaking to my prophets, but some of you are missing the message because you are looking for it to come to you as it has in days of old...you have become accustomed to the "traditional" way of doing things, and not being open to anything new. But I am beginning to change the method I speak to my prophets.

The Word hasn't changed just the method. You have gotten lazy, and some of the words you are giving are not from me, but from your flesh. Therefore I am going to change the way I speak to you to see if you are really listening to Me or your flesh.

I am going to start speaking to some of you in parables to make you seek My face to get the Word. But most of you are going to start seeing, colors, numbers, words (sometimes they may seem crazy), pictures, and phrases, and some of you will even hear noises...some of you will finally be getting dreams and visions that you have desired. I have caused a shift in the spiritual atmosphere to get you ready to receive My Word for My people in these last of days. The end is drawing near, and you cannot afford to be missing My Word and My prophetic signals for my people. If some of you keep making mistakes in the flesh, I will have no choice but to remove you from your office of prophet. This is a very serious office to the Church. You are the ones I have anointed to carry my end-time message to My Church. I am saying this one more time. KEEP YOUR SPIRITUAL EARS IN TUNE WITH THE WIND. The winds of My Spirit are going to be blowing harder and shifting more than ever before.

Very exciting days are ahead for the Church. The last days Harvest/Revival will be hear in a matter of months. Millions will come to Christ and more signs and wonders will happen, than have happend in the last 2,000 years. ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU HEARING ME AND SEEING MY SIGNS? Get ready prophets. I see you as cars on a roller coaster. You have finally made it to the top of the first hill. This symbolizes that you have finally made it up the rough side of the mountain. The cars have come to a stop, signifing times of refreshing from Me. Now you are about to go over the top and it is all downhill from here. This simply signifies that the next few months and years are going to go very fast and be more exciting than you ever thought possible. I am excited for you, because you know the ride doesn't ever last long. My Son is coming soon. Please, please, keep your ears to My wind and begin to prophesy over My people.

Bellwether

Here is the beginning of my post. In a sudden vision; I was shown a bell -- A bell on one of those buoy floats in the water (sea), and I could hear this bell ringing as the buoy swayed in those choppy waters I was seeing. I then heard this one word,

"bellwether".

I wasn't sure what this word bellwether meant, and so later I looked it up in an online dictionary:
Middle English, leading sheep of a flock, leader, from belle bell + wether; from the practice of belling the leader of a flock -- from the 13th century;
bellwether = one that takes the lead or initiative : leader; also : an indicator of trends
And here is the rest of it.

Jesus Christ our Lord, is our Chief 'Bellwether' -- He is our Shepherd and Leader. He alone has given and gifted into His Body bell-sheep whom wear a spiritual bell, as it were -- they ring the true sound of direction: even as a bellwether leader-sheep.

Now wait, wait -- I feel impressed of the Lord to add this: a bellwether signpost-person may not alone be the person you and I are thinking of 'first-off' as 'leader'. Some bellwether-persons you and I should note carefully may be humble servants, even an unnoticed till now intercessor, a brother or sister fellow laborer in Christ, one's of varying gifts and ministries; One's whom are becoming fruitful sign[post]'s and are found as, '...a wonder to many...'. As David spoke of himself. - Ps. 71:7

We believers need to be listening and heeding into safe directions. Do we know Jesus' indicators, the signs and wonders and direction of our times, of our own lives,, now?

In the vast sea of humanity, even in choppy stirred up sea-waters, as in this brief vision I was given, there is the clear sound of bell's ringing direction for our safe passage, our way and walk In Christ. This sound speaks guidance to each believer individually, as well as corporately for HIS' Body, HIS' church in earth.

Look and listen for the bellwether's' ringing, even belwether brothers and sisters In Christ; watch and hear HIS' 'trend' moving, and then in your obedience follow Jesus; HIS' direction of safe passage and success; As we then will touch and affect nations (people's).

prophecy;
" I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance." - Ps. 2:7,8

prayer;
"For You are my rock and my fortress;Therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me." - Ps. 31:3

Theme Park Interview (dream) w./interpretation -Lloyd Phillips

(WtV' prophetic dream, Oct. 23, '10) I was standing next a reporter who was on my right; I could only see their hand and a large mic being held out to the man in front of us; this man was a little far off, abt. 8-10 feet or so (?), and he was facing us speaking to this reporter, an interview of some sort.

Behind the man was a big theme park, somewhat elevated as if it had been built on a small hill, some raised ground. I saw structures and lights there, but did not note much else, as I was observing this man mainly.

The man was about late 30's in age, maybe 40's (?) and he had a long brown ponytail. To my tastes he had an unpleasant face. He was not really ugly nor handsome, just a face I personally did not care for.

The man was speaking for this 'interview', along this line: "There are four themes in this park, and we will start with the first theme area/park, which is _________ " & blah, blah, blah".

I believe he was going to take us on a tour next, beginning with #1 area, then on through 2, 3, and 4.......

This man was either the owner or the public relations guy for this new place, this new park, and he was doing some advertising via this interview -- I think for a TV spot, but I did not see a camera.... so not sure. I only saw the big mic being held out towards him.

I awoke, and remembered what he had named that 'first of the four' theme parks, but alas today his words are gone from my memory : ( ...

As I pondered the dream with Lord, I really could not sense whether this dream was presenting a 'good thing', or if my not particularly liking this man's face was a clue that what he was offering was not all that good ?!!

I wondered about the four themed park (#4), and what that # significance might be....

One thing I think about the theme park, I think it may represent the world. Four is the number for the world / earth (four directions, four "winds" four elements, four directions etc.). usually men with ponytails are a bit liberal (not always but perhaps this case) and he was a reporter. perhaps giving a "left" / liberal view of the world. You had a discernment about him which was not pleasant, which was your spirit giving a warning. It may be the Lord giving discernment that we need to not take the "reporting" about the world events too seriously and need to find for ourselves.

1 Chron 9:24 The gatekeepers were assigned to the four directions: the east, west, north, and south.

We usually say North South East & West from which we get the word NEWS. As intercessors we are spiritual gatekeepers. We may feel we have a small "gate", but the whole world may come through any gate at one time or another. We should watch and pray - like those shepherds on the hills over Bethlehem - who knows what News may come?

Multi-Task Saints

A quote through my husband as taken from a tv comedian,
'I can multitask real well! The other day I was walking, talking on my cell phone, inserting eye drops, and hit by that automobile, ALL at THE SAME TIME!' - lol

A funny "story" (joke) which did make me laugh, however it also got me to pondering this: We saints *are* called to multi-task. We live in this world, walk and talk in this world, yet we also dwell with HIM in the spiritual world -- simultaneously.

I am certainly not perfect in this, but we are called to always have a ready answer for those who may ask us, or those who simply present themselves before us, concerning our beliefs, about our wonderful Savior and Lord! We can be an instantaneous 'pen of a ready writer' when The Spirit prompts. Amen?

Sometimes only a few words can deeply touch and affect a needing-persons heart. (this 'goes' for online, as well ) Yes too, sometimes it is our example with verbal silence (this too can 'speak' when appropriate); and at other times we may even speak a book! .... or maybe just a chapter or two : ) - The correct and appropriate words are simply as, and what and how many words, Holy Spirit prompts us to speak.

Lord help me as a Holy Spirit filled prophetic redeemed human being, who belongs to YOU \o/, to be In Christ, in Your' Spirit 24/7, even when I am out and about in this world in secular adventures and the needs of life, to always be ready at Your prompting to minister to that someone[s] whom You have Your eye and heart upon. -Amen

Clay in The Potter's Hands - Jill Austin

All of us want God to fashion us into vessels for his use, but we must submit to his shaping and molding and to the refining of His Holy Fire

Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, 0 house of Israel. Jer.18:2-6, (The Amplified Bible)

Imagine that you are sitting in church on Sunday and suddenly, the room is filled with the fragrance of Jesus. As you look down the aisle, you notice some incredibly beautiful vessels of the Lord entering the sanctuary.

These vessels are full of the Shekinah glory of the Lord, and their transparent glaze wonderfully reflects the image of Jesus. You immediately know that they have been in the high glory fires of the Lord and that they have paid an incredible price for the powerful anointing they carry.

In your spirit, you see Jesus walking up and down the aisles with wedding gowns on His arms. "Do you want My anointing?" He asks. "Do you want My presence and My miracles?"

"I'm calling you to be My bride," He continues. "I want you to be like the chosen vessels of honor you see here. Do you love Me enough to come with Me?"

The Scriptures tell us, "Many are called, but few chosen" (Matt. 20:16, NKJV). I believe it is the Lord's desire for all of us to be chosen vessels. But many believers are not pursuing the high calling and destiny the Lord has purposed for them because they are not willing to pay the price.

As clay vessels, each of us must take a journey. The steps in this journey can be painful but are necessary for us to be transformed from broken bits of clay into anointed vessels that reflect the glory of the Lord.

When the Lord, the Master Potter, first finds you in the potter's field, you are a broken vessel in need of salvation. He gently picks you up and carries you back to the Potter's house. "Even though you are a shattered clay vessel and all your hopes I and dreams have been destroyed," He tells you, "I have a vision and a destiny for your life."

He takes a rock and begins pounding your broken pieces of clay into fine dust. When you cry out in protest, He explains with great compassion, "I must take out all the rocks, thistles, thorns and foreign Matter - all the debris you have picked up on the highway of life."

Next, He carefully places the clay dust in large bins and pours in the clear living water that proceeds from the throne of God. He drenches you until you've absorbed this living water into every pore of your being. You begin to feel His love as never before.

The Lord then scoops up the moistened clay with His mighty hand and places you on the Potter's wheel. You hear His promise: "I have measured you; I know your portion; I know what destiny I have for you. For even though the enemy would want to kill you, I tell you, I have a mission and a calling for your life."

He begins to center you on the wheel. Slowly, His gentle hands go down into the very depths of who you are and begin to pull up the walls of your new vessel. While you are on the Potter's wheel, being shaped by the hands of the Master Potter, there is a wonderful mystery taking place within you. You are growing! It is a time of great favor and blessing.

But as you go around and around, you begin to notice other vessels sitting on the shelves around the Potter's house. You want to be like them.

"Lord, I love the closeness and intimacy of Your hands," you cry. "But I see all these other vessels sitting on the shelf, and I want to be a part of what they're doing!"

Suddenly the Lord comes with His cutting wire and pulls it under you to cut you off the wheel. Then He places you on the shelf to dry.

What a change this is from being on the wheel, where you were joyfully spinning in the hands of God! At first, you don't mind it too much, but after a month or two, you say, "Uh...you know, Lord, I've been sitting on the shelf for a long time, and I'm really dry. When is my ministry going to begin?"

You remind Him over and over again, "Lord, I've been praying to You!" But you don't feel His presence. In desperation you cry, "God, where are You? I seem to be in a dry and lonely wilderness!"

"You're right," He answers. "You've been promoted!" Surprised, you respond, "But Lord, I thought promotion was getting to start my ministry!"

In His love and wisdom He explains, "Promotion is the wilderness! I've called you here so you can learn to recognize My voice. I'm testing your heart. I'm testing your love for Me. Will you continue to seek My face, or will you turn away?"

When you were on the wheel, there was great intimacy between you and the Lord. Everybody said such wonderful things about your future! But now that you're on the shelf everyone seems to have forgotten you.

"Does God really have a future for your life?" you begin to wonder. "Did He really speak those things to me?"

You've learned all the worship songs by heart, read all the books, been to all the seminars-yet there's a dying in your heart because you feel the Lord has forsaken you. The worst part is that other people don't understand. "Why don't you have more faith?" they ask. They don't understand that God has taken you into the wilderness.

You see, the greater the calling on your life, the greater the misunderstandings and persecutions of other people. This is the price behind the anointing.

"My child," the Lord says, as you seek My face you will find the hidden streams of living water beneath the desert floor. For it is not the reputation and approval of man you need; it is to be so deeply rooted in Me that no matter what storms of life come, you will not be moved.

While God works out His perfect plan your soul is wrestling and dying in the wilderness...

Finally, you stop struggling and quietly pray a prayer of resignation: "Lord I'll stay in the wilderness my whole life if have to. I have found You in this desert, and You are all I need."

"Deadly Session" Warning

At approximately four o'clock in the morning of July 3, 2010 I was awake in my bed at home when I heard the Lord speak two words to me. I heard the words "deadly session." It startled me because it was spoken in the stillness of the predawn hours, and I could not immediately grasp what was being communicated.

I asked the Lord, "What does this mean? I cannot understand what You are saying to me." I prayed and asked Holy Spirit to clarify the message, and then I dozed off to sleep.

Immediately, I realized in a dream that I was in a foreign land. Apparently, it was somewhere in England. I saw a gentleman and I walked up to him. I did not know or recognize him, and he evidently did not know me.

I said, "Sir, I just received a word from the Lord and I cannot understand its meaning."

He asked what the message was, and I told him.

He then said with a definite British accent, "The word does not have to do with church because the Church has a service. It has to do with government such as Parliament, Congress, or court."

He pointedly said, "Court is in session, Congress is in session, or Parliament is convening and is in session."

So he said, "Your word has to do with a 'deadly session' of government affiliation. This is an ominous warning!"

I awoke and realized God answered my request and sent someone in my dream to give me an interpretation.

An Urgency to Pray

It is rare that I post anything on the Internet regarding a prophetic word, but I have felt an urgency all day to share this with intercessors and the Body of Christ at large to help me pray into this. I do feel it is a timely warning or Holy Spirit would not have spoken it aloud into my ear at four o'clock in the morning.

I could speculate that it could be this or that, but I really do not know what it is all about. Friends, and even some who move in the prophetic, have discussed this with me throughout the day. I have been given really good insight as to what it could possibly mean.

I almost decided not to post this, but felt if I received a word from the Lord and did not do anything with it I would not be a good steward of prophetic insight. I would deeply appreciate it if you would help me pray into this and together we can avert judgment…hopefully.

What if The Spirit had spoken to you....

What would you do if the Spirit had spoken to you about a spirit of oppression being sent over the land from high places? Would you pray any differently? Would you be watchful for oppressive thoughts and feelings and replace them with a garment of praise or thoughts and words of joyfulness? In reality the high places are not evil places, but when they are occupied by evil powers then evil effects are bound to be released until righteousness once again prevails from those same high places.

Currently there is a spirit of deception on a great part of the people in this nation and beyond. By definition, those who are in deception are not aware that they are. Ignorance can be bliss - for a time. There is also a spirit of denial sent to influence many that are somewhat aware of the workings of the enemy at this time. To keep them from acting upon what they feel may be coming, but can not see. And those who are not deceived or in denial are the prime targets for oppression or discouragement. It’s good to check where you are in the faith (1Cor 13:5). And it is really good to be watchful over your mind and heart in these days so you will be in tune to hear what the spirit may say to you directly or though a friend (1 Thes 5:16-22).

Anchors Aweigh

dream: Feb. 28 '09. The beginning, and then throughout this dream scene, I was hearing the Navy song sung by a men's choir, or chorale; "Anchors Aweigh...my boys,,, anchors aweigh-h-h........",

Firstly, I was given to dream-know that this was an invasion "like" Normandy.
I was a small distance above in viewing; I saw the sea, and a beach stretching off into the distance -- however this beach was rocky and dark, full of un-land-able and hilly (no sandy beach) -- looking like barnacle and seaweed encrusted rock formations ..... I was over the water near shore, and close to a large rock cliff that seemed to be composed of dark shale (if I'm using the right geological term?) ... wet looking and dark shades of rock, with many levels of smooth flat surfaces, a cliff rising high and straight-up.

I believe it was either early dawn or early dusk because the scene was light, but the sea, this cliff and the shoreline were dark and shadowed appearing.

Below me incoming a large inflatable craft, like a large rubber rescue dingy, but which I knew was being used as a landing craft for this invasion.

There were about 6-8 men aboard; they stopped at the cliff-face and went into coordinated work force mode, practiced.

What was odd was that whereas I expected to see military men, possibly even Navy or Marines (because of that song I was hearing!): I saw they were all, everyone of them dressed like road or construction workers in those neon safety clothes / vests of bright orange and glow-yellow, & each man was wearing a white domed safety helmet, that would be common for many workers ( construction, road crews, factory etc.)

( all this while I was still hearing in the background, the Navy song being sung by a men's choral ........ "Anchors aweigh my boys...." )

I knew there were other craft landing up and down this beach, in being "like" the Normandy invasion ...... although I did not see the others, but was concentrated on the scene and the men near me.

They had attached the boat to the rock face cliff, and all the men had gathered at the cliff side of their landing boat, working feverishly in a tight bunch, coordinated-ly, well-practiced, smoothly. I looked away from them to view the rock cliff closely, to inspect it visually up close ( this seemed important to do ? ) and when I looked back to the boat and men.......

Two of them were now on and harnessed to climbing ropes which the men had somehow attached (?) high up on that cliff. These two climbers were just a few feet up and above the boat and water, just beginning their climb. I saw that these two men wore what I thought were construction boots, but they had spikes on the soles -- like mountain climbing footwear.

The climber on my left (in my facing-on) then suddenly bent his knees and gave a great push-off this cliff, thus swinging in an arch towards me, coming very close to me on his rope/harness....... and, I saw that he had a 'Mr. construction worker every-man face' -- that is, nothing really distinct about his face under that white safety helmet; however he shown this very relaxed expression, with a small smile on his lips -- as if I was to see and note that this daunting ( to me ) invasion landing, and rock wall / cliff climb was really 'no big deal' to these men -- they were prepared, most well practiced together, and they were going to 'make it just fine'........ 'no sweat'.

His momentum then swung him back to the cliff wall; where he pushed off a second time, arching towards me, and I observed him up close again. Then as he was swinging back this second time towards the cliff wall.... I awoke; still hearing the Navy song being sung as I was awakening!, ........ "Anchors aweigh my boys,,, anchors aweigh-h-h .."

( i don't know the rest of the words to this song, but I do know the tune/music, and heard it being fully sung and repeated whilst I was receiving this dream scene, and then still hearing it as I awoke.)

As I've asked The Lord for understanding of this unusual, symbolic scene; I believe these men dream represented 'Kingdom builders' ( e.g. clothed as construction workers = builders ) whom are being shown in their first invasion steps to 'taking-back what the enemy stole' ( an invasion "like" Normandy, where France would be liberated from the Nazi's and then finally all of Europe in WW2 )

"And He (resurrected Lord Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mk. 16:15

.... and, these scripturally recorded disciples did become miracle working 'Kingdom builders' of our Lord Jesus;

"And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." - Mar 16:20

Whereas, the very last thing one would wear in combat, in real life enemy engagement, would be neon shiny, orange and yellow safety garb (!), I believe this clothing and the safety helmets represents, as the confident small smile on that climber's face also did, that these men are protected (safe/saved) and they 'know that they know' they are protected ( they are wearing safety = Jesus / HIS' salvation and deliverance ).

Even as I was given to know in the very beginning of this dream itself that what I was about to see was "like" Normandy in that WW2 invasion; yet in HIS' perfections -- Spiritually speaking we can know that there are massive big gunned ships in backup, along with the gunner and bomb carrying Air Force above and ahead -- moving in one purpose with these men, these dream ground taking-back, Jesus' Kingdom builders.

These builder / invaders are well trained, equipped in strength with HIS' mantles, and wearing helmets of righteousness (white), working as a team, smoothly........ to go and tear down the bad, to then build (Jer. 1:10) : Kingdom builders full of confidence in their God Who goes with them, and in this stage of what HE our Lord is moving them into.

ships at sea and air cover above and ahead = "From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. " - Eph. 4:16

I am not sure why I felt it was important for me to study that rock cliff up close? But it was. Perhaps there is a clue there for more or better understanding? Our Lord knows. (I can still see that clearly - wet, dark & shadowed blue-ish greenish rock face of different size, plateau, depths,...like tiled irregularly)
I would like inputs from others whom may have some Holy Spirit insight to this portion ........ if so, I thank you.

Bear, Panic & Escape

(reposting) dream, 10-25-08 I was walking a Dalmation dog on leash, outdoors.
The scene: We walked the right side of a paved road. Two lane road, but out-there, rural as there was not even a center line painted on this road. There was forest off and up slightly, to our right. Between the woods and the road was a grassy (yellow wild grass) belt, about 15 or 20 feet wide which slightly dipped, a shallow grassy ditch, or water culvert.

The dog and I walked the edge of the road; the Dalmation happily trotting slightly ahead of me on the roads edge and the wild grass area, tethered together with the long-ish leash, we were.

Then, ahead of us several yards (50-60 ft. or so?) in the short-distance, at the edge of the woods a bear appeared from the forest, and stood on his hind legs at the top of that yellow grassed area.

I went into adrenelin / panic mode.. somehow I knew this bear was going to charge and attack the dog and I. What could I do? How could I escape this bear out here in no-where’s-ville?,, with no place to run, no protection or weapon, nor people or houses nearby, etc. etc.. My mind raced trying to decide my course of action, even as the bear was lowering himself to all fours to make a run-at-us.

I then remembered the road, and that on a road traveled cars – even though we were seemingly alone and it was quiet of traffic here, there might be a car come by!….. I stepped into the middle of the road, pulling the dog into the center of this road with me and turned to face the direction we had come from. – the dog had now dream-morphed from a Dalmation, into a larger yellow/tan colored Retriever type dog.

And a car was coming! I frantically was waving it down, as I knew the driver, from their vantage and view, could not see the bear, the danger, and I wanted to ‘stop’ this car for sure!

Everything now happened quickly -- The bear was charging and close, the car stopped right in front of me, -- I ran to the passenger side and opening the car door, I leaped in. Still holding the leash I was trying to pull the retriever in behind me through the car-door opening -- which was now only about 1 ½ feet open as I was simultaneously trying to shut the door and pull the dog through.

At this point the bear hit the car door, face and claws inches from me in the passenger window, and then turned to attack the retriever……. Growling, roaring bear was just getting his slavering mouth and clawed paws upon my dog !!……. and I awoke with a start, not knowing for sure the end of the matter, the end of the dream.

Knowing this dream was from The Lord, I asked HIM for understanding / interpretation. Because of the dream “bear”, and the subsequent bear-attack I have come to understand that this dream was speaking in a symbolic way to our present day economy – which in the lingo is presently ‘bearish’ or a ‘bear-market’ (downward economy, investment losses).

In this sense I believe the dream is showing that during this time of financial panic (bear attack) folks are making a middle-of-the-road quick switch from a happy-go-lucky firehouse-type mascot dog (Dalmation = faithful, fruitful investments), to a retriever type dog (retrieve, or pulling-out of investments).

During these hard times our lives will be spared (rescue vehicle/car), but there will be, as there is already in the world and in individual people’s economy ---> Losses (did my dog make it, even wounded, into the rescue-car?,, or not? I am not sure – awoke!).

In this dream I was not able to note that automobile very closely due to my panic, however the picture and definer that comes to me is that it was ‘like’ a 1950’s / 60’s Rambler wagon -- a boxy medium sized wagon-type auto, yet this dream-car appeared really only a few years old ……. there are some semi-similar type newer cars being sold today (however, I do not know all the makes of these boxy wagon style vehicles?) Sometimes referred to as “crossover’s” – i.e. these autos are not really a sedan, nor a van; more like the old station wagon, but an updated today-version.
Crossover = ‘The Cross’ of Jesus Christ and HIS” Blood sacrifice is, and always will be our way ‘over’, to escape, rescue and salvation.

I had the predominant roll in my dream – indeed, the main thrust of this dream was very up close and personal to me (!). Yet, in the way of dream symbol I in no-way represented large institutions or business or industry, etc. being attacked, but rather I was a Believer (as I am) -- representing individuals whom will be, and are being already affected and attacked due to the present ‘bear’ economy.

Insight received: I ponder as well, and this may be a stretch for some of you readers, yet being a ‘prophetic sort’ I do consider that our Lord may be speaking through this dream not only to our goods, monies and possessions (investments), but ALSO to our good ‘investments’ in our children, in our loved ones and friends, good 'investments' we’ve made into our brothers and sisters In Christ, our fellowship's, and those ones still coming-in to Christ Jesus.

David’s faith,
“David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine (Goliath).” – I Sam. 17:37

Surely the rain does fall on the just and the unjust alike (- Jesus, Mt. 5:45 ); Both the Believer and the non-Believer enjoy the fruitful times, as well as suffer loss - alike. Times are going to get rougher, yet the saints marked by the Blood and Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, have been given ‘The Way’ of escape (“Cross”over vehicle); their/our eternal lives spared – that the gospel of HIS’ Kingdom be preached in all this earth …

Jesus speaks,
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” – Mt. 24:14

“…..A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” – Rev. 6:6b

“Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for He has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?" - Hbr. 13:5,6 HNV

In times of transition, uncertainty can distract you. That could be dangerous if you are crossing a busy intersection.

How do we stay focused? How do we keep on track? Here’s a simple word from the Lord- “Follow Me.”

Anyone who seeks to tune in to the heart of our Heavenly Father knows that the Lord desires to lead us along. Psalm 23 says, “He leads us…” Being led is a feature of the Christian life which we often neglect. We tend to focus on what we know, where we attend church*, how was our service, rather than being led by Him. And being led isn’t spooky- it’s just staying alongside Him as He goes somewhere. Following Christ is a journey, not a destination. We receive salvation as a gift but we stay in connection with a Person, our living Savior. His kingdom is personal, relational, and protective.

Sometimes the path we are on with Him carries us into unfamiliar territory. If we have never been along that particular road before, then we need to trust our Guide.

A couple of months ago, after another frustrating episode of trying to locate an elusive address in the metropolis near to which I live (Memphis), after nearly running off the road while I flipped and folded and scrunched a city map and still couldn’t find the address, I gave up and admitted I needed a guide. The next day, I purchased a GPS device. Now, when I am in route to any new location, I enter the destination and just follow its directions. A voice speaks and a picture of a moving vehicle on the highway appears, saying “Turn right just ahead.” I haven’t been lost since.

Jesus said “My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me…” (John 10) Jesus is a reliable Shepherd. He doesn’t just give us a map and expect us to get there by ourselves. Yes, the Map Book (The Holy Bible) has precise directions but if we are unfamiliar with that trail or territory, it is difficult to recognize the landmarks along the way or even to know when we arrive at our destination. By Holy Spirit’s constant companionship, we are privileged to have a Personal Guide accompany us. Our Guide not only drew the map, but He has been where we need to go and will take us there safely- for our benefit and for God’s glory.

Our ability to be guided, to follow close after Him, is dependent on rightly hearing His voice. “Clear hearing” requires fine-tuning our heart to listen, to truly know Him, so we can do His will. If we know Him and His ways, it is less likely that we will misinterpret the directions He gives.

On this journey, no one has all the answers. Spiritually sensitive leaders admit that where we are now going is - at least for our generation - an unmarked trail. I certainly don’t know all the answers, but I know the One who does, and I trust Him.

Interpreting the "voices"

At this time of year, (happy new year - '09) and especially in times like we are currently in, where people are experiencing a heightened awareness of their need to hear from God, there is typically a fresh wave of prophetic words attempting to bring clarity to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the church. In light of that, I wanted to share some thoughts about how to interpret the voices, or how to make sense out of the various and sometimes contradictory "words" coming forth to the Body of Christ. If you are like me, your email box is being filled daily with "words" from prophets and prophet wanna-be's, often saying one thing one day and something entirely different the very next day. Two very important keys to understanding are, understanding prophetic terminology and understanding who a "word" is to.

Who is being prophesied to?
In the old testament times, there were prophets who were prophets to the religious culture of the day, while others were prophets to a small portion of Israel. Others were prophets to all of Israel, and others, to heathen nations, while others were prophets to kings or other individuals. Today we have prophets who are prophesying to the culture around us saying one thing, and prophets who are prophets to the traditional church, saying something entirely different, and then others speaking into the last days true church, saying another thing altogether. If you take them for face value, you would conclude that God is contradicting Himself. (not a chance) For example, God is speaking blessing and favor to His Church, while speaking times of trial, sifting, and even discipline to the culture around us. So when contradictory words come, you must first ask yourself who is this intended for.

Prophetic Terminology
"It's a "new day", and it's a "new hour!" Many of us have been hearing this declared, or have sensed it in the Spirit. But one of the things we need to understand is the nature of prophetic terminology. While this is not an exact science, I have discovered that a "new hour", prophetically speaking, is usually around 3 to 5 years. And a "new day" seems to be from 10 to 20 years long. Another interesting fact about prophetic terminology is that the Scriptures tell us that God's version of a "new day" begins in the dark. When God created the heavens and the earth, He declared that, "the 'evening' and the 'morning' were the first day". So His day starts with an "evening" or a period of darkness.

With that in mind, I believe we HAVE stepped into a new day. I believe it began about a year ago but most people still feel like they are pretty much in the dark. A Scriptural example of that was when the baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem. That was not only the beginning of a new day, but a whole new dispensation; yet only a hand full of people knew it for at least 12 years, and it took 33 years for the reality of it to be fully known.

2008 has been a time of darkness and confusion for much of the Body of Christ, and the winds of change have been blowing, but it is yet to be seen what are the full implications. You might even say it this way. The landscape around us has changed, but during the 'dark' part of the day, it is hard to make out what is in our surroundings. Fortunately though, as the dawn comes, there comes a progressive clarity. "But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day." Proverbs 4:18

So we HAVE stepped into a new day. This IS a new day, and our need is to persevere to see the dawn and the "full light of day". While 2008 was a time of darkness and confusion for many, I believe there is coming fresh clarity in 2009.

I also believe in 2009 we will see the breakthrough and new beginnings in many arenas. To be sure, some of those new beginnings will seem like small saplings, somewhat fragile and insignificant. But don't be fooled. Inside the DNA of that sapling is a mighty oak. And all that is needed is time, nourishment and growth for the oak tree to come forth.

Dec 21 - In a dream this past night I was with President Elect Obama and an older grand-motherly like woman, I assumed it was his grand mother. We got into a limo, like a black Lincoln town car. I was the driver and Obama was in the passenger seat, the woman sat in the seat behind him.

As we drove we were conversing as old friends would. I asked him if he would like me to pray and prophecy over him and he said “I was hoping you would and expecting you to ask.” I laid my right hand on his left shoulder as we drove and he laid his head on my right shoulder.

I began to speak in tongues and the tongue which came sounded like one of the southern African !Kung Bushmen dialects with all the “clicks” of that language included. (Note: I have not idea why the Lord chose to use this language from southern Africa his ancestry is from east Africa) I remember thinking as I was praying “I didn’t vote for you but I love you with Christ’s love.” When I was done with the tongue the prophetic word began -“God is stirring things up like a spoon stirring in a cooking pot. Pay attention to what comes to the top, it is important and how it is dealt with will be very important to your success and for many people ...” We came to the end of our drive before the prophecy was complete and he got out on to a black carpet that led to a red one. There he was greeted by a woman who was at the beginning of the red carpet with velvet ropes along the way on polished brass poles like are used at the Grammys and I felt we were at the beginning of the place to go towards the inauguration. He went on without the last part of the prophecy with the grandmother still behind him saying nothing.

I continued with the second portion of the prophecy which was “Dark clouds are arising and will cover the land, but not for as long as many think. And with the dark clouds will come rain, and rain will be for planting and growing and then will come a great harvest time.

Some parts of possible interpretation -

Currently the president elect is open to the input of spiritual leaders even those who may not have voted for him but who are not antagonistic toward him. He will be followed by the influence of his (white) grandmother all of his days and while she may not speak (be noticed by others) her influence will go with him. He did not seem open to this influence, but there is a reason it is following him and perhaps he will open to it in time, it is like a heritage that is with him but being ignored presently/ This is his heritage and an influence which the Lord is showing is there and may influence his presidency although he might not speak of it or acknowledge it.

Our prayers can drive (influence) this portion of time leading up until his inauguration in such a way as to perhaps set foundations and direction which will influence the years after he becomes president. Once he turns on to that carpet of the presidency he may not be as open to our prayers and prophecy as now (because of distractions of the office and responsibilities). What we do, say, pray and proclaim now may have more influence on those days than things we may say after that day (inauguration day). It appears he is open to the things of the spirit but only in passing (as traveling in the car) and not if something else (woman to receive him towards the office of president) is available.

The right hand is the hand of blessing the side representing faith. Left represents human reason and ministry (human action). Shoulders represent government. His head on my right shoulder indicated putting his mind in contact with spiritual faith and ecclesiastical authority. My hand on his shoulder indicates an inspired blessing to the secular governmental authority which would be received at this period of time. Brass also represents the work of man’s hands, this is what was part of the receiving line, it looked very good and very important, but was the works of mans hands.

The portion of the prophetic which was not heard by the president elect is what is to come, this may well be a word for the church. That during the dark days just ahead we should be planting - do not get distracted by the words of doom or gloom, it is a time for planting seeds. There will be rain (storms) but not for as long as people expect and are predicting, for those who have planted during the dark days (this is financial as well as evangelism) there will be a great harvest to reap in a time not too long off.

Blessings all. I wanted to thank all of you that made comments on this dream that I had. I felt it might contain some significant insight from the Lord and you might like to have more detailed interpretation in addition to what I originally suggested. This is not the first dream I have had with Barack Obama in it, but contained more details than others. From the response I have gotten, it seems that the Lord has granted dreams with information about the president elect to many. I do so much enjoy hearing form the Lord and also depending on Him and His Spirit in His people for guidance. While I am not attempting to put all information here, I have included some that I felt would be interesting to you. I’ve also included the dream at the bottom of the e-mail for reference.

Regarding the Lincoln Town Car -. It was pointed out to me that two days after I had this dream that it was announced that Obama plans to be sworn in with Abraham Lincoln's bible. The headline on Fox News was about Obama "channeling Lincoln". I found this very interesting

I’m happy to hear about Obama’s decision to use the Lincoln bible, (actually any bible). This is another indication that he is not a “stealth Muslim”. He is trying to be a sincere Christian, and like many in the church today many issues arise from a sincere, but superficial form of Christianity. Rick Warren is scheduled to administer the oath of office. When I was invited to be with Rick Warren this past Spring I was immediately impressed. I later told Terri that I felt he would take the place Billy Graham has filled towards the elected officials (representing the church). I think it is interesting that Barack Obama is setting this precedence. This is most likely the first new precedent that Obama has set.

As a side note George W. Bush was the first president ever NOT to be sworn in on George Washington’s bible. The Library of Congress said it was getting too old. So Bush used his own bible. Perhaps by using the Lincoln bible Obama will look back to his roots - both Lincoln and Obama were elected from Illinois.

Also the old woman represented roots and foundations to me. I certainly do not want Obama to have the same end as Abraham Lincoln and end with an assassination I have been praying for his safety through out the election process, and will continue to keep this a priority of prayer. I pray safety for him, although I am praying against many of the things he promised to accomplish since they are anti-Christ or anti-Christian in nature. It is interesting that the Homo-sexual / gay activists have attempted to tie the reforms of Lincoln and the civil rights movement towards to themselves in the past. But the choice of Rick Warren has incised the homosexual community because of what he represents, and has already brought the displeasure of this community against Obama. This is a good thing and again indicates that Obama may not bend on his promise to support marriage as between one man and one woman.

In the dream while Obama was in the Lincoln town car he was expecting to receive prayer and prophetic, but did not want to remain to hear the whole word of the Lord. The bible says the entirety of His word is truth (PS 119:160). If we have half of the word and not all, we will walk in dankness. In the dream when he got out of the car (ignoring that he was in the middle of hearing form the Lord through prophecy) he stepped on to a black carpet. Black can represent repentance, but also might represent darkness, in this case it probably represents stepping into darkness and there was no repentance indicated. The black carpet may represent rejecting or ignoring God's word. We should pray this does not happen. When the carpet turns red as he approached what would be the receiving line. I think this represents the good treatment “rolling out the red carpet”. Red carpets are rolled out for celebrities. This seems to be what drew him away prematurely from hearing the word of the Lord in the dream. Often public officials are drawn away by the “spotlight”.

In the dream I had the thought “I didn’t vote for you but I love you with Christ’s love.” Obama has stated since the election that he hears the voice of all those who did not vote for him and he would listen. The fact that he didn't stay to hear the rest of the word may indicate that he will not listen carefully to the issues of that portion of the population.

There were brass polls holding up the rope line. It was suggested to me that brass may also represent judgment. I typed the words judgment and brass into my search engine and amazingly the first thing that came up was the words “Obama’s Judgment – City of Brass”. Brass looks like gold, but can not replace it. It might represent a “shining city” (Washington D.C.?) but it will not be gold, or genuine / godly. We should pray not to be fooled by what is polished but is not gold (it would be fool’s gold?).

Both the grandmother and the African dialect may represent the two sides of his heritage. When I wrote about the tongue I had in the dream I said it sounded like one of the southern African !Kung Bushmen dialects with all the “clicks”. I did not understand why this would be in the dram, but it was pointed out to me by a linguist (I love linguistics) that there are at least three languages that use these types of dialects in Kenya / East Africa where his fathers heritage hails from.

There may be some interesting insight to be gained from these parts of the dream. It may be that the Lord still has things to be revealed about Obama’s African heritage that will be brought forth by God, not Obama, and explained by specialists. I think it is interesting that the Old woman - whom I thought might be his grand mother, representing his American heritage, followed him where ever he went. Another thing about the 'timing' of the dream- it was told me that Obama attended a memorial service for his grandmother just two days after this dream. She has been brought to his mind in memorial, but has truly been laid to rest. She still will go with him (we can not loose our heritage) but it will remain to be seen if she (the American Heritage) can “speak to him” in the future. I will be praying that “she” will.

In the dream I felt the president elect was going towards his inauguration. I did not see him go up the steps and take the oath of office. I intend to pray earnestly through out the tenure of the next president, but this dream may be indicating that much authority can be exercised in prayer in the coming weeks leading up to the next presidency of the United States.

Of course I was in this dream and therefore it may contain specific instructions for me to follow. But also it may be a word for all those who faithfully prayed for another outcome in the election and did not vote for Obama. We have already committed to pray for Obama with love & grace. We do not need to come into agreement with policies or directions in order to pray with grace effectively. We should pray that the Lord will use Obama to bring His will to pass.

"He's the reason for the season" they tell us.
Is He the reason shoppers run themselves ragged ensuring they haven't left anyone off their gift list? Is He the reason mums and dads crinkle their foreheads with worry wondering whether they can cover the mortgage, the everyday bills as well as the children's Christmas expectations this year? Is He the reason stress levels rise for just about everyone while retail store owners rub their hands in glee as the so called 'season' reaches fever pitch? Is He the reason loneliness seems so much lonelier for those who have nowhere to go and no-one with whom to spend their Christmas Day?
No He is not.

But He is the reason the sun rises every morning. He is the reason the seas keep their boundaries and the stars don't fall out of the heavens. He is the reason the earth turns at just the right speed and the flowers grow in Spring. He is the One who orders night and day and the One who watches over our birth and our death.
He is the reason we live, move and have our being.

He is the One who stepped out of His majesty and made Himself available to us as a tiny babe born in a dirty, dank stable. He is the One who thirty three years later laid down on a rough piece of wood and allowed us to torture and kill Him so that we ourselves might never die. He is the One who three days later showed that death could not hold Him and therefore death would not hold us in Him.
He is the one whose birth created Christmas. He is the One who decided there was a reason for this season and that reason was US. Yes, in His mind, WE are the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas everyone. You are the reason for the season. Don't let Christmas pass without pausing to wonder why, and offering a humble word of gratitude to the One we call Jesus the Christ.

African Boy - who swam ...walked

(a republish) I was praying for two friends ministering in Africa, short term, and...

In a vision I was shown a young native African boy swimming (10 -14 yr.'s or so?)........swimming towards me. His eyes were large and his face very pleasant and determined as he swam. I was slightly above watching.

In the back of this scene was a high wooden dock, where a native African man stood watching the boy. The man was in shadow. It was either evening or night, for I could not make out much of this background, except it seemed by moonlight - the boy closer to me, the water and it's small choppiness were illumined by this light, moon light.

The boy was swimming, kicking strongly, but with only his left arm (!) which he swung around and around in great arks........circles, stirring up and splashing the water as he pulled forward. His face was 'taking some water' because it was choppy, but what was amazing to see was that the top part of this boys chest was completely out of the water as he swam forward. (none of this could be so, in the natural !).

I looked closer at his right arm which was underwater. It was being held straight down under water, and in his hand he was grasping the handle of a bucket or pail (underwater). I saw that it was filled with solid weight, something like cement, holding his right arm under the water.........

I was asking the Lord about this vision and what it may mean, and I then was filled with Fathers great love for this child. Lord was so very proud of this boy and HE was saying to me,

"Look at my son swim!,,,,, how well he goes forward, in such strength, even with the weight of handicap he carries.... you see, this is my miracle power upon him and his life".

And indeed the boy was making progress forward quite rapidly, even with only the one arm. Then I heard,

"When this boy, my son, is able to let go of his burden, the handicap he drags along, his impact In Christ upon the 'seas of humanity' will be of My miraculous with no stopping him."

I watched as the boy then let loose of the bucket handle, which fell to the bottom of this body of water. The young boy then effortlessly rose up and began to walk on the water!!!

He passed before me as I was slightly above, and I saw that he now appeared older, a young man. He walked to the other side of this water body where he stepped onto shore of land. It was now bright morning daylight. - end of vision.

*** As I received this vision I felt the 'bucket of cement' the boy was grasping was not so much some overt sin[s] we all might recognize, but rather it was as mis-perceived inadequacy this boy was holding onto ! -- as in, self-esteem, self-worth. The man on the dock is showing the "pass-the-baton" generation, and it was the boy's 'right arm of strength' that was inhibiting him before he 'let go'.

I believe this boy of this vision is representative of 'young believers' in Africa, both male and female ("sons") - irregardless of gendor or age, but rather being a 'younger generation of believers now coming up' (not respecting natural age ;), whom will rise up and walk on water (!) as it were, in even more and greater miracle exploits in, of and for Jesus Christ Who is Lord, and for the then giving out to HIS' people.

Mudman ( Africa prayer dream )

3-2-08 intercession dream - Bill C.

In bed, before falling asleep and while praying, at one point I asked The Lord to allow me to pray for people who were powerless to pray for themselves?.. i.e. those too sick and weak physically or mentally / emotionally to reach out in prayer to The Lord for their own needs.

I fell asleep and was given this dream;
I was standing outside a large clinic in Africa, with a friend. We were praying for many different people who had congregated and were standing outside this clinic.

We then spotted one man encased in mud from head to foot (somewhat like the mud-men of New Guinea, if you?ve ever seen them). He was very dirty and unlovely appearing.

I grabbed him around his head, encasing his head in my arms; my full arms encircling his head,,and with my friend we prayed fervently for this man.

Then suddenly ?my friend? picked the mud-man up in his arms and carried the mud-man into the clinic. Inside there was a bathtub, overflowing at the top with a thick layer of soap bubbles. My friend deposited the mud-man into this bath of water?..

I could not see the mud-man as he was underwater, and I was becoming very concerned for him ? that he might drown (!), but my friend said to me, ?The man is all right, just wait, hold on?. just wait?.

After waiting a bit, the mud-man then emerged from the waters and stood up completely clean! I saw that bath water was now so incorporated with mud, dirt and filth that it was thick like a brown syrup.

But,, the man we had prayed for was now released, clean, head to foot!! ? I awoke.

After: I believe that in this spiritual dream ?my friend? was The Lord, Holy Spirit, Who is our friend indeed. We worked together as HE allowed me to intercede even while I slept, for someone (or possibly even several persons)in Africa, who were too weak to pray for themselves.

The Lord began to answer that prayer I had prayed before sleeping. I praise HIM.

Wonderful dream Bill, and also wonderful answer to your prayer to be allowed to minister to someone how could not help themselves. I was thinking the mud might represent neglect, but also the ?world? as dirt / earth / mud can represent the world or things of this world. I concur also that the ?friend? is the Holy Spirit who is able to move on our intercession anywhere there is a need. I also commend you for your compassion for those whom you don?t even know, there is great reward laid up for those who faithfully do so. Lloyd

Ordinary person/prophet

We read in Amos, that Amaziah was the priest at Bethel (the northern kingdom / Israel). Amaziah did not like Amos' word of prophesy, and would rather that he, Amos, 'Go away' .......but he did recognize Amos as a seer, a prophet.

"Then Amaziah said to Amos: "Go, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah. There eat bread, and there prophesy. " - Amos 7:12

I share this next portion below, for Amos points out ( and for us today too, I believe ) that he was basically 'just an ordinary guy', when; The Word of the Lord came to Amos, and he was given to see (seer) and to speak (prophesy). And, we still today have his book recorded, of Amos' prophecy's, in our written scriptures.......

"I was no prophet,
Nor was I a son of a prophet,
But I was a sheepbreeder
And a tender of sycamore fruit.
Then the Lord took me as I followed the flock,
And the Lord said to me,
'Go, prophesy to My people Israel.'
Now therefore, hear the word of the Lord:.........." - Amos 7:14-16a

I personally believe this applies to some, perhaps even many of us 'prophetic people' today -- we who are In Christ, persons of Holy Spirit leading/walk/living. We may or may not know that we have been called as prophets 'from the womb' ( i.e. as David and Jeremiah and John the Baptist .....) -- God knows the whole deal for each one of us, and you and I may or may not know, or be given privy to all of that by HIM presently, except 'in part '....... We may know our calling and appointments today, or we may not know completely, or perhaps..... just not yet.

I do know one thing, though, as it is scripture,

" Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy." - I Cor 14:1, and v. 39a
"Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues." (we are to = covet, desire, crave earnestly -- to prophesy ! )

So, in one sense of understanding 'prophet' ,, as born again Believers and followers of Jesus Christ our Lord, whom are filled with and move in Holy Spirit, we are all to desire to be 'prophets who prophesy', in these our new covenant times. You and I may or may not be a gift ministry person ( Eph. 4:11, apostles, prophets, teacher / pastor, evangelist ) given into Christ' Body, but we all are admonished to 'prophesy'....... to desire & seek this.

I really like Amos statement above, for in essence he says,
' I was a worker...just a man doing my job.....'
I like this because I, and we all can relate to him. NOT that we are necessarily 'an Amos', but that we are 'just me here' -- Basically; Mr./Mrs/Ms. ordinary person, but one whom God may use to speak to His' people ........... a 'prophet who prophesies'.

When we seek and allow this as scripture admonishes us to do, we are definitely not 'ordinary' as the world would describe, but we, you and I, become a tool and minister of our Lord, for our Lord, and to His' people. ~selah.
