Sometimes in trusting someone who doesn't deserves
Sometimes in keeping useless relations we preserve
Sometimes in doing things that hurt
Or saying unintentional words we blurt
And though some mistakes should never be repeated
But some are worth still even if they leave you defeated
Never cease to make mistakes
Even if Life has no retakes
They are the lessons you learn the hard way
So make all the mistakes in life if you may :)

♥ If love was words…. yours is a poem I would read till the end
♥ If love was silly…. yours keeps me smiling for no reason
♥ If love was eternal….yours keeps me going on in every season
♥ If love was blind….yours makes me read every letter in braille
♥ If love was a story…. yours makes my ordinary life a fairytale!
Because….There can’t ever be anything ordinary about love….

So red!

Violet Indigo Blue Green Yellow Orange Red in accordance
Seven colors in God’s rainbow stripe given equal importance
And though I can add Gold Silver and Bronze to the list
Yet Red is the first color to which I was always attracted

I guess it started with teen age when life seemed a love story
Daydreaming, crushes, roses, cute little hearts adding to its glory
Usage of this color was so much in the things above
And thus kindled my superficial romance with the color of love

Even though the teenage dreams were left behind with time
Somewhere deep down its resonance would always chime
Gone to buy something and it would be red that would beckon
T-shirts, dresses, handbags, heels, nail paints collected over time in a red unison

Open my wardrobe and it would be red that would leave me blind
Its bright shine outdoing other colors playing havoc with my mind
Just imagine if I were to wear all I owned in Red from head to toenail
I’m sure I would look like a She-Devil minus the tail

And so I decided consciously one day that enough is enough
I should give a chance to other colors too even though it would be tough
Now my wardrobe is happy with colors of different hues
Red is still there undoubtedly but accompanied by whites, greens, purples, black and also blues

Out of Veronica’s house he was always thrown....

Veronica Lodge, nicknamed Ronnie
A pretty lasso, she looked bonnie
But Oh! When she tries to cook or make ginger ale
Her friends ran away from Riverdale....

The very talented Betty Cooper
Her IQ level was super
Involved in a love triangle
In between the two she was forced to dangle....

The Burger King, Jug head Jones
His body was full of lazy bones
In eating conquests he was a regular
With impossible metabolism, an undefeated competitor....

The wannabe star, Reggie Mantle
His practical jokes hard to handle
Always adorned with a mirror and comb
His antics for attention seldom hit home....

Succumbing to all the promises it renders
Stealing the weariness of the day in parting
It leaves with its fragrance invigorating.

You pleaded even begged though you did all that in vain

Because stooping so low was not required as I was there still
Again with my support for you in your time of need
Even though there were no promises to fulfill
Ignoring well meant advices to which I paid no heed

Did so not because of any greatness but for your own realization
Your conscience that needed be awakened
Nothing that you will ever do can sway my foundation
My faith and my beliefs will never be shaken

I refuse to be me because of you
I refuse to let your betrayals have the power to change
I will always be me only because of me
My values aren’t imprisoned in your silly games!!!

A Good person

To be a good person is the world’s toughest task
You have to fight hard with your inner demons masked
To be a good person you have to be humble and kind
But not so much so that people make fun of you behind
To be a good person you have to have good intentions
Don’t let just your words do it show it with your actions
To be a good person you need to give benefit of doubt
Don’t jump to conclusions, you need to reason out
To be a good person you ought to be honest
But don’t hurt people unnecessarily that feelings violate
To be a good person you need to be responsible
Not just for your family but being there for others is invaluable
To be a good person always think positive
But learn from your mistakes and learn to forgive
But to be a good person is to be good for one’s sake
Its your own chosen path, it’s what makes you unique

My Chocolate Fantasy

Eating chocolate in a bad mood I wonder how it would be
If the world was chocolate and it grew on every tree
And thus a fit of gluttony started my chocolate fantasy
Just a mere thought of it was enough to create this rhapsody

Chocolate chocolate everywhere and all that I can see
A chocolate house in a chocolate world surrounded by a chocolate sea
To pluck and eat how ever much and whenever I fancy
Chocolate dresses and even slippers in my fairy tale when I go dancing

A chocolate fountain in my backyard of streaming chocolate fondue
Flowing like water a thick liquid chocolate spew
A snow fall of marsh mallows, would all that I need
And we would even have chocolate chips to sow as a seed

Hot chocolate from the burning Sun constantly dripping
And we would just have to gather it in our cups for sipping
When sun would set the sky would be different shades of sweet, bitter or milk
And clouds would rain chocolate drops tasting of silk

At night it would be chocolate that would fill the sky
And it would be God’s lights peeping through holes called stars,Oh!My
The Moon would be a white chocolate beauty
And from a distance it would tease, casting a chocolate spell so fruity

Having so much of chocolate around would be ecstasy
And even if I and chocolate have a mouth watering chemistry
It wouldn’t be fun anymore if chocolate was so omniscient
So let the world be the way it is, a bar in my bag would be sufficient.

And hordes of money in the wallet may still feel foul

Often searched in riches, success, jewels and glory
Its existence in life is often imaginary and only a story
It’s the small things in life that by it are blessed
In pursuit we keep revolving around materialistic things guessed

It’s a journey towards positive outlook for a lifetime
And when you find it, you can’t keep it within you, its so pristine
The peace and tranquility it brings is immeasurable
Sometimes just being surrounded by your loved ones is substantial

Clouds of love

They turned into an Angel serene and pure
And a few minutes later they were more like a flower

Slowly changing forms and shapes like an imagination
Innovating shapes and colors of different combination

Floating across regardless of boundaries they immigrated
Making fun, teasing sometimes adulating those imitated

When the sun started to rest melting and fainting
They were illuminated like a life size painting

With deep colors of pink filled and purple silhouetted
Now they looked like an ice cream cone melted

But gliding across the sky these clouds weren’t alone
They were watched intently by two observers forlorn

Eyes focused skywards they saw figures reborn
But in their minds they wanted a world that was their own

Each hesitating and striving to break free and flow
Weren’t sure if what one wanted the other wanted also

Suddenly eyes shining they saw them taking a form unspoken
Now all the uncertainty was shaken and broken

Looking into each other’s eyes they knew it was a start
The clouds had vaporized the shape of a crimson heart!!!

My New Year Resolutions"To follow or not to follow"

Everyone makes New Year resolutions, probably to make them feel better
But here are a few that I hope I will follow to the letter:

I will not pull at my sister’s hair
Or when she’s not looking remove her chair
I'll be good to only scare her sometimes
But Oh! I’m sure with her I’ll tend to mess
So not as much as now but probably just a tad bit less!

I will try to spend more time at the gym
(Not at all because of the instructor I swear)
And I’ll give up the chocolates and Ice cream
In the forever pursuit of toning down and slim
But can’t slog like that forever though
So I’ll wear rather black more often for an illusion of narrow!

I will be less addictive to Cola as I’ve always been,
I’ll stop it altogether and with soup I’ll be seen
I’ll have more healthy drinks and digestive bars
But can I tame my taste buds on bolt
Wouldn't it be like disgusting them and forcing to revolt!

Instead of sleeping and hanging and lazing around
I’ll stop doing all tasks frowned
I will stop being idle and utilize my days
But why do I really have to be so sublime
Since when is riding on one’s imagination a crime!

I’ll altogether be a nicer person and mend my silly ways
Would not scream, shout or shriek away
And try to be far away from doing blunders
But if you really irritate too much
Then Heaven forbid, don’t blame me if you get a taste of thunder!

I know I have made these New Year resolutions
I hope to be able to cope with the above mentions
Knowing that they are for the good
But if to fulfill them I don’t do my best
I’m sure there would be another year, so this year I’ll give them a rest!
