SMHS Fall Concert now on VOD

The St. Marys High School Fall Concert is now available on WTC's Video-on-Demand service.

WTC's eligible Digital Cable customers can take advantage of the Video-on-Demand service to view local content from area schools, as well as a wide selection of new and old movies.

Email phishing scam

We've been notified by a few customers about an email going around that appears to be from WTC when it actually is not. The email asks for you to send us your email address, username and password. We would never ask for that information via email. If you come across that email, just simply delete it. If you have any questions about it or other scams, please contact us.

New HD Channels

We are expanding our High Definition channel lineup!
Two new HD movie channels have been added, Showtime Too HD (ch 822) and The Movie Channel HD (ch 829). (Both movie channels require subscription to the Showtime package.)

We will also be adding KTMJ HD (FOX) very soon on channel 610.

The entire HD lineup is available here.

Choose a smarter password

Check out this post from the Gmail Blog about choosing a smarter password. In addition to changing your passwords from time to time, it's also important that you make sure your password isn't one that would be easy for someone to figure out and that you don't use the same one for your online banking or other services.

Now that our email service is powered by Google, you have the ability to change your password as you wish as long as it meets the minimum requirements of 6 characters.

The Kansas Sampler Foundation announced their 24 finalists for the 8 Wonder of Kansas Customs and 2 of the finalists have Pottawatomie County connections.

Click here to vote.

The customs in Pottawatomie County are "Click your heels three times and say ""There's no place like home."" for the OZ Museum and the other is "Ordering a soda fountain treat" for Hoffman Pharmacy in Westmoreland.

So be sure to vote for those 2 and 6 others of your choosing. Hopefully there are some you've experienced and some that might surprise you and want to check out. You can vote up to 3 times from one email address.
