Bad dude from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings costume

This was sent in by Craig Musselman and he's one of those guys who wins all the local costume competitions. What I love about this costume is that its built off a base of motocross gear. Which means if shit goes down and a sword fight or battle takes place you're protected. This looks like a combination of store bought and custom elements. I like the leaves as a final touch. The only bad thing is trying to hook up at Halloween will be tough when you look like this.

Cardboard Iron Man Costume

Time spent on costume 15 hrs. Time spent photographing it 2 min. Let's get serious here for a minute (put on a serious face). If you spend this long on what is a really solid costume make sure you get some good photos of it. Maybe ones without people in the background. And this photo here looks like a nerd version of the Abu Ghraib prison photos. Or a futuristic sex scene. Either way kinda scary. I do like the Warhammer 4000 costume too. There just something about a women with a chainsaws that tickles my fancy. Maybe it's because I know if I ever need firewood I'd set. I'm told the other Chain Saw wielding woman is Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Either way both can have a hack at my great pine if in the area. (boom tish) Looking at the Ash statue it seems she could have exposed a nipple to be 100% authentic. Thanks to Local H (Ash in the photos) for sending these in. Great work

After a small hiatus WTFcostumes.com is back. We have a backlog of supplied costumes to post as we prepare for Halloween 2009. We've also added a star rating system so you can vote on each costume, we also put thumbnails in the costume archive page to make it easier to find the costume you saw. Lastly we added a page system so you can step through the costumes much easier. This is for both the main site and the categories. Worst Taste Costume Ever

Truly this takes the cake and eats it to when it comes to bad taste. Even the pun "Elton Jon Benet" makes you want to back hand his face. Actually the look on his face made me want to do that. I'm hard to offend but I don't think I could have been at the same party as this guy, For those that don't watch the news more info here. Borat Costume

This is the only costume that lets you walk around Halloween with a giant rubber fist and get your laughs. You can also go around being crass to women saying stuff like "I make love explosion on your chest" and as long as they have seen the Borat movie you'll get a laugh. If not you'll get slapped and maybe beaten up by some meat head dressed as Wolverine. Just don't superglue your head to your friends Julian Caesar costume. Or your Halloween party night will be ruined. Thanks to Jake Reber for sending these in. Who this year tells us he'll be going as Chris Benoit. Let's just hope he's not planning on going as the whole family. Ouch!

If you're going to dress as one of the most bad ass superheroes Wolverine you better look like this guy. No one will tell this guy that Wolverine doesn't wear camo pants. And not this guy. Here's a collection of the good and bad Wolverine Halloween costumes out there. Get in early before the movie comes out next year and everyone is wearing this for Halloween 2009. Wolverine = cool. Zombies = cool. Zombie Wolverine = very cool This guy actually has real retractable claws. And probably ended up poking out the eye of his date at a Halloween party too. Don't let your mom wear the costume this year though. Or the local stripper And if you've left your Halloween costume buying to last minute you know you're going to end up with this and worse still this very crap Wolverine costume.
