What is SOPA?

Lately, SOPA issue has stormed the cyber world, and many people discuss about it either online or offline. Do you know what is SOPA and what its effect toward global internet users? SOPA is “STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT." I will try to explain the term with the simplest words. Before that let’s see the SOPA definition taken from the legitimate sources.

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), also known as H.R. 3261, is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives on October 26, 2011, by House Judiciary Committee Chair Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX) and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors. The bill expands the ability of U.S. law enforcement and copyright holders to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods.Now before the House Judiciary Committee, it builds on the similar PRO-IP Act of 2008 and the corresponding Senate bill, the PROTECT IP Act. SOPA, or the Stop Online Piracy Act puts power in the hands of the entertainment industry to censor sites that allegedly "engage in, enable or facilitate" copyright infringement. This language vague enough to encompass sites you use every day, like Twitter and Facebook, making SOPA a serious problem.

STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT

To simplify it, SOPA tries to declare war against piracy online. SOPA doesn’t really care whether you’re piracy supporters or against piracy. It allows companies to block DOMAIN names of web sites that encourage copyright infringement.

For example, if Zetta Tips website has been suspected for copyright violence, this domain could be blocked. Thus, you cannot visit this site by typing http://www.zettatips.com in your web browser address bar.

Although you cannot access it via the domain name, you can access Zetta Tips by knowing its numeric IP address, which is 216.239.36.21. Paste this IP address on the address bar of your web browser, and you still can browse through the Zetta Tips website happily.

There is a simplest technique to know the numeric IP address of the certain website. Open your command prompt (WINDOWS only) and type “ping zettatips.com”. Refer the screenshot below:

You can change the “zettatips.com” with any websites. You need to remove “http://www”. What if SOPA successfully implemented? The answer is easy, it will give trouble to the websites such as GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE, TUMBLR and many more, because it can censor any web sites capable of providing its users with the means of promoting pirated content or allowing the process. In conclusion, you will have a hard time to feel the freedom by using the internet.

Google+ is a phenomenon on the internet these days since it was launched by Google. But only certain people who get an invite can join and have their own Google+ account since it is in a beta mode. Google+ is an awesome social-networking site. Take a look at the pictures below:

Your Blogger blog is very slow to load? Usually the problem caused by excessive gadgets installed at your blog homepage. If you love your gadgets so much and don’t want to eliminate some of them, you can arrange it properly, either to show up on the homepage or on a single post.
Here are the quick steps:

Blogger gadget on a homepage

1. You need to go to Design, click Edit HTML on your blogger dashboard, and tick Expand Widget template. Before you proceed further, backup your template first by “Download Full Template." This step is highly recommended.

2. Search your gadget’s name by pressing ctrl + f on your keyboard on your browser. Then add these two codes in between your gadget codes.

Other than that, if your site cannot be found by search engines or your content cannot be put into their databases, you are missing incredible opportunities available to websites provided via search. Search engines are a primary method of navigation for almost all Internet users. But, how they work?

How search engines do their work?

Crawl the web- search engine crawl the Web to see what is there. This job done by a software called a crawler or spider. Spiders follow links page by page and index everything they find on their way. But you must know this:
- Spider/crawler cannot read and index Flash movies, images, frames, JavaScript, password-protected pages and directories.
- If your site contains a lot of the listed items above, you need to take a step to decrease them.
Index its content- For your information, the indexed pages are kept in a gigantic database, where it can be retrieved later. At this stage, it will identify the expressions and words that best describe the webpage and it will assign the webpage to certain keywords.
Process – When a search request comes, the search string in the search engines with the indexed webpages in the database will be compared.
Retrieving – Last but not least, it will display the results in the browser which are sorted from the most related to the least relevant websites.

For your information, each search engine (Google/Bing/Yahoo) has different algorithm to calculate the relevancy. In other words, it has difference techniques to measure the keyword density, links, or metatags. Hence, the search engines display the different search result in your browser for the same search string.

Recently I have updated you about January transfer updates on PS3 and Xbox 360 platform as EA Sports has released its update official line-ups of the winter after the January transfer. Now PC platform can taste the updates, unfortunately, undisclosed format (a SQUADS file) is not compatible with other editing tools. KaiBaMx has Export The Tables (The Official Updated Squads File From EA Servers) using Internal Master, after importation into the original database (Patch 1.01). It is equipped with:

How to Install?

Paste the files in the folder - "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ EA Sports \ FIFA 11 \ GAME \ data \ db". If the folder doesn’t exist, it can be created, and run after i68 FIFA 11 Regenerator 1.5 with "Take Care Of Edited Files Stored Directly In Folders", click "GO" and wait for the finishing process.

Note 1: If you have a previous edited DB make a backup
Note 2: If you have a previous Edited DB only replace, don’t need to run Regenerator.

Software can be classified into many categories. Can you define all its categories? Of course you have been familiar with the term Shareware, Adware, Freeware, but sometimes when you’re downloading a software, it allows you to try it for 15 days only! very annoying. What about a software that embeds ads on it. You hate them as much you hate spam. I can imagine your feeling, but you must accept it because you have installed an adware software into your computer. Below is the clear definition about those types of software:

Shareware:

You can download this software from the internet. The user is permitted to use the program for free, but for a limited period, commonly for fifteen days or thirty days. This is what we call a trial time. At the end of the trial period, you must purchase the software in order to use it, otherwise you should uninstall the software.

The justification of shareware is to give buyers the opportunity to use the program and assess its usefulness before purchasing a license for the full version.

The examples of shareware software are. Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, WinZIp, and TuneUp Utilities.

Freeware:

This type if software also can be downloaded from the internet. The good news is, it’s free of charge. Hence you can use it permanently without any trial period and no need to spend a penny.
