At WWE Breaking Point, The Great Khali will once again go head-to-head with the horrifying Kane, when the two bitter rivals take their hatred to the next level in a Singapore Cane Match.
Kane has made his dislike for Khali monstrously personal from the beginning. But, he truly stepped over the line when he kidnapped Ranjin Singh, only to viciously ambush The Punjabi Playboy as he was attempting to rescue his victimized brother.
Nothing was settled when the two titans finally clashed at SummerSlam. After The Big Red Monster grabbed the helpless Singh to gain his advantage and capture the victory, it quickly became clear to the WWE Universe that no ordinary match would cool the fires of their extreme discontent.
Things continued to burn out of control on SmackDown in the weeks to come. Following Kane’s disqualification in a match against Rey Mysterio, an incensed Khali emerged. Once his brother nailed The Big Red Monster with the Singapore cane, Khali quickly followed suit, attacking his adversary with the wooden weapon all the way up the ramp. When Kane tried to assault Singh during tag team battle one week later, Khali again rushed away from the ring action to defend his flesh and blood.
Kane has made it clear that he doesn’t fear The Great Khali and will stop at nothing to achieve terrifying triumph. However, could his sadistic tendencies blind him from the potential dangers of his gigantic, cane-wielding opponent? Khali is willing to go to any lengths to get his retribution on Kane for all he has done. But, could his love for a brother work against him when the sticks start to fly?

The belief is that Rey Mysterio's 30 day suspension from WWE will cost him in excess of $100,000. This figure has been determined due to Mysterio missing two pay-per-view events (he will miss next Sunday's Breaking Point PPV and will likely miss the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 4 since they would have no TV time to build up a match) and four weeks of house show events.Like other drug-related suspensions in WWE, Mysterio will not be getting paid his downside guarantee and will not be able to collect the normal money he would make from appearing on house show and pay-per-view events if he was still performing. He will still be collecting merchandise revenue during his 30 day suspension though, which is still a huge revenue source for him in WWE. It is believed that Mysterio is earning in the range of $1.5 million annually, but a good deal of that comes from strong merchandise sales as he is one of the top sellers in WWE. It is interesting to note that his money earning ability from merchandise has always been strong and even continued to be while he was out battling injuries on a frequent basis.

D-Generation X vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (Submissions Count Anywhere Match)

Triple H & Shawn Michaels made a triumphant return as D-Generation X at SummerSlam. But the opponents they conquered at The Biggest Event of the Summer – The Legacy’s Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase – established themselves not only as a force to be reckoned with, but as a persistent thorn that refuses to leave DX’s collective side.
Well, The Game & HBK are determined to pluck that thorn once and for all at WWE Breaking Point – in the first-ever Submissions Count Anywhere Match.
It’s understood by all combatants that there will be many firsts come WWE Breaking Point, the first-ever event of its kind that pushes WWE Superstars to their very limits. But for DX and Legacy, it will also be a first time that one member from these tag teams will tap out and submit to their opponents - a fate both sides must consider worse than the traditional pinfall defeat.
At SummerSlam, Triple H & Michaels were geared for war with Rhodes & DiBiase, even riding out to ringside on a tank. But The Legacy was also prepared, countering every salvo DX could throw at them until some arguably desperate Sweet Chin Music from HBK brought a decisive end to the conflict – at least on that night.
However, if there's one trait that Rhodes & DiBiase have inherited from respective fathers Dusty Rhodes and The Million Dollar Man, it’s dogged determination. WWE Champion Randy Orton may have fostered that attribute into something overly antagonistic, but Rhodes & DiBiase have since taken it to extremes, especially where The King of Kings & The Showstopper have been concerned.
Though not victorious at SummerSlam, the diabolical duo has certainly achieved its fair share of success against DX before and following The Biggest Event of the Summer. On Raw, while triple-teaming Orton’s opponent for WWE Breaking Point, John Cena, Rhodes & DiBiase – aided by the WWE Champion and Special Guest Host Dusty Rhodes – foiled a DX rescue attempt and left The Game & HBK tasting canvas.
At WWE Breaking Point, though, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase won’t care where Triple H & Shawn Michaels fall; a Submissions Count Anywhere Match means precisely that. Whether inside the ring, on the outside floor, in the stands of Montreal’s Molson Center or beyond, Legacy’s sole objective will be to force D-Generation X into submission – a "d-feat" that could symbolically forever "d-rail" D-Generation X.

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will face the supernatural scourge of the reemerging Undertaker at the brand new pay-per-view WWE Breaking Point in a contest designed to stretch both ring warriors to their limit: A Submission Match.
The Straightedge Champion’s collision with The Phenom first came into being at SummerSlam. Just moments after The Straightedge Superstar had triumphed over Jeff Hardy in a brutal TLC Match to capture the World Title, his smug celebration turned into horrifying darkness in the form of the rematerializing Deadman. The frightening sound of a gong seemed to make time stand still. A collective rush of electricity ripped its way though the capacity crowd. And then, the lights went out on CM Punk. Within seconds, The Deadman appeared in the fallen Hardy’s place, raising once again and chokeslamming an instant claim onto the newly-crowned World Champion.

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. John Cena in an "I Quit" Match

Less than 24 hours after Randy Orton squeezed out a victory in Los Angeles at SummerSlam, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon announced that the WWE Champion would again defend his title against John Cena at WWE Breaking Point, except this time in an “I Quit” Match.
This declaration didn’t come out of thin air though, as just before The Chairman made his entrance, Orton and The Legacy revealed that the “fan” who interfered the previous night at SummerSlam was actually Ted DiBiase’s brother Brett.
Although The Legend Killer claims that he had no prior knowledge of Brett’s attack, he did reiterate for Cena that he was still champion. This didn’t seem to sit too well with Mr. McMahon.
So, whether Orton knew the younger DiBiase was at ringside or not doesn’t matter now, as at Breaking Point, it will be an “I Quit” Match between The Viper and the 12 Rounds star. The added stipulation is if anyone attempts to interfere in the match on The Legend Killer's side, Orton will be stripped of his title. The WWE Champion will have no underhanded tactics that will be able to get him out of this one.
In reality, there will be only one Superstar walking out of Montreal as WWE Champion, and that man will be the one who can take his opponent to the limit, inflict as much damage on them as possible and send them past their Breaking Point.
Who will be the one uttering the dreaded words “I Quit”?

Mark Henry & Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show

It’s going to be The World’s Strongest Man vs. The World’s Largest Athlete when Mark Henry & MVP go up against Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & Chris Jericho at WWE Breaking Point.
It will be the biggest test yet for the tag team champions.
With Edge out due to injury, Jericho revealed Big Show as his surprise partner at Night of Champions. The move proved to be a wise one, as the duo successfully defended the gold against Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes.
Then, at SummerSlam, the champions took care of business against younger challengers, Cryme Tyme.
However now, they must face possibly their most formidable foes yet.
At 390-plus-pounds, former ECW and European Champion Mark Henry was named the "Second Strongest Man That Ever Lived" by Flex Magazine. It’s a safe bet that every Superstar knows he must be at the top of his game when stepping in the ring with this powerhouse.
At Henry’s side is the life-hardened MVP, who backs down from no one. The former WWE Tag Team and United States Champion (longest-reigning in SmackDown history) is coming off a win against Jack Swagger at SummerSlam. Thing are looking good for MVP.

In recent months Rey Mysterio has narrowly defended his Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler on two separate occasions. But the gregarious young Superstar is hoping the third time will be the charm as he challenges The Master of the 619 once again at WWE Breaking Point.
Though Ziggler eventually earned the WWE Breaking Point title opportunity, he wasn’t the only Superstar originally in the running. The aggressive ring warrior faced stiff competition on “WWE Superstars,” in a Triple Threat Match to determine the new No. 1 contender to for the Intercontinental Title. According to PWInsider.com, WWE developmental star Brett DiBiase (brother of Legacy member Ted DiBiase Jr.) was the "fan" who ran-in during the Randy Orton vs. John Cena WWE title match at SummerSlam last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

DiBiase is 21 years old and is the other son of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (Sr.). DiBiase signed his WWE developmental deal in early 2009.

After being at odds for weeks, two of the most colossal forces in WWE will finally collide when The Great Khali faces Kane at SummerSlam.
In their most recent confrontation, things boiled over on the Aug. 14 edition of SmackDown when Kane held Khali’s translator, Ranjin Singh, hostage. The Punjabi Giant was able to free his associate, but Singh was clearly shaken from his encounter with The Big Red Monster. Kane’s diabolical methods certainly aren’t new, and the bad blood between the two behemoths spans the course of years within WWE.

ECW Champion Christian vs. William Regal

Since coming to the Land of the Extreme, Christian has made his prime directive well-known: To proudly display the ECW Championship around his waist. To that end, Captain Charisma has defeated some of the best ECW has to offer, earning the brand’s highest honor. But at SummerSlam, he’ll face a brand new challenge in The British Brawler, William Regal.
After emerging victorious from a brutal Extreme Rules Match against Tommy Dreamer, Christian thought his ECW Championship was safe, when he appeared as a guest on “The Abraham Washington Show.” But after defending the ECW Original to the brash talk-show host, Captain Charisma was introduced to the recently named No. 1 contender, William Regal.
The arrogant Brit clearly stated his intention to send the ECW Champion a message by running roughshod over Christian’s friend Dreamer. Regal made good on his promise, going so far as to place the ECW Original in the Regal Stretch after the bell had been rung, luring the ECW Champion to come to Dreamer’s defense.
Christian has shown his willingness to go the extra mile and put his body at extreme risk in defense of the ECW Title, but the sadistic William Regal presents a wholly new threat to Captain Charisma’s title reign. At SummerSlam, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger will go one-on-one with MVP, in a personal match between Superstars of undeniable skill and explosive emotion.
The animosity between the two gifted competitors formed the instant Swagger set foot onto Raw and has since roared to a fever pitch. After colliding on Monday night, they immediately found themselves at odds, thanks in part to Swagger’s insistence that MVP was nothing more than “a criminal.”
Although the intense competitors would soon lock horns, Swagger’s claims that The Franchise Playa’ was a common thug made it impossible for their growing conflict to be settled in a single match. The former ECW Champion only added fuel to the fire when he made MVP’s matches his business, resulting in The Ballin’ Superstar being trapped into the excruciating Master Lock after his match with Chris Masters.
The conflict between MVP and Swagger represents a massive culture clash between MVP, hardened on the streets, and Swagger, raised on privileges Porter didn’t have and bred arrogant because of it. This fundamental difference has mixed the elements of hatred that can only be defused amidst the magnitude of an event like SummerSlam.

D-Generation X vs. The Legacy

Reuniting as D-Generation X, Triple H and long-time friend Shawn Michaels will be crashing The Biggest Party of the Summer as the duo is set to take on The Legacy’s Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase at SummerSlam.
In recent months, Triple H has tried everything in his power to rid Raw of WWE Champion Randy Orton and The Legacy, but it seems as if at every turn, Rhodes & DiBiase did their leader’s bidding and thwarted The Game.
It wasn’t until The King of Kings lost a Handicap Match on Raw against the two young Superstars that it dawned on him that he needed a little assistance. What better help than the same man with whom The Game had created his own legacy as part of D-Generation X?
Only one thing stood in the way of that, nobody had seen Shawn Michaels since he lost his match against Undertaker at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. Fortunately for Triple H, HBK gave his old friend the nod and agreed to get the band back together.
Although The Cerebral Assassin and The Showstopper haven’t teamed together in more than nine months, whenever the two reunite it tends to be explosive – if not hilarious, as well.
It’s doubtful that Rhodes & DiBiase are laughing at the tremendous task set before them, but both Legacy members seem confident heading into perhaps the biggest match to date for either of their young careers.
Will it be the antics and years of teaming that lead Triple H & HBK to a successful DX reunion? Or will Rhodes & DiBiase use their natural abilities and determination to pick up an impressive victory over the two decorated in-ring veterans?

At SummerSlam, World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy will put his title on the line against former World Champion CM Punk in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.
The match of Extreme proportions was born out of epic circumstances. Five days after CM Punk lost his World title to Hardy at Night of Champions, he viciously attacked the war-torn Charismatic Champion on SmackDown. The following week, before the two Superstars were supposed to have their World Heavyweight Championship rematch, they attacked each other in a state of absolute bedlam. Amidst the mass hysteria, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon emerged, declaring that he would name a “special guest enforcer” to ensure order in their championship rematch later that night.
When the special enforcer turned out to be Jeff’s estranged brother, Matt Hardy, the WWE Universe sat on the edge of their seats in disbelief, wondering how his presence would affect the outcome of the match. But none of them were prepared for what they were about to see. Shortly after getting inadvertently kicked by Punk, Matt stopped the referee from delivering the three-count on Jeff, thereby denying Punk a possible victory. As Matt confronted Punk in the ring, Jeff rolled his opponent up, leading to a surprise three-count by his older brother.
An enraged CM Punk then viciously attacked Jeff for the second week in a row. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long responded by making the blockbuster announcement that Jeff Hardy would face CM Punk for the title at SummerSlam in the TLC Match.
Jeff Hardy is quite simply a master of the Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match. The event itself, which Hardy helped to pioneer, is tailor-made for his Extreme personality. Although some claim that he is too reckless and takes too many chances, it is his outrageous nature fused with Extreme matches like TLC that have gotten him to the top of the mountain. But, will the World Champion bring the same reckless intensity now that he has so much to lose?
CM Punk is The Straightedge Superstar with fury in his eyes, driven by an undeniable thirst to get his gold back. He has used his focus, dedication, and exceptional skill to conquer the Extreme before, winning two, back-to-back Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at WrestleMania, both of which led to World Championship reigns. The anger that he feels toward The Charismatic Champion, which has led directly to his recent acts of ruthless aggression, fully demonstrates his intention to win the title at any cost. Sometimes opportunities simply fall into your lap, while other times you must earn them.
The later is true for young Dolph Ziggler who won a Fatal Four Way Match on SmackDown to earn a rematch against Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio at SummerSlam. In the high-stakes encounter, Ziggler squared off against Finlay, Mike Knox and R-Truth, with Mysterio watching from the announce table. After a hard-fought war for an opportunity at gold, it was the brash Ziggler who got the pinfall over Finlay to stamp his ticket to SummerSlam. But the action wasn’t over. After the match, Ziggler taunted Mysterio, only to be stunned by a seated senton from the champion.
Ever since his WWE debut, young Ziggler has been trying to make a name for himself by going after Mysterio. Just 48 hours before Night of Champions, Ziggler viciously assaulted Mysterio on SmackDown. And on a previous edition of SmackDown, Ziggler attacked Mysterio after a match against Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho.

Finally, at Night of Champions, Ziggler almost got the better of Mysterio. But, it was the veteran Intercontinental Champion who emerged the victor.
Now Ziggler gets a second chance.
Can the youngster upset Mysterio and don gold? Or, will the Californian deliver some West Coast Poppin’

John Cena has beaten brutes, behemoths and big mouths in the past several months during which he has chased championship gold. But it was beating the clock that earned Cena a one-on-one opportunity against WWE Champion Randy Orton.
His coils tightly constricting the WWE Title, The Viper has spent the same number of months enduring a gold-hungry Animal in Batista, an extremely personal vendetta with The Game (which still appears yet to be fully resolved), and even the 12 Rounds star himself, who fell to The Legend Killer just recently in a chaotic Triple Threat Match at Night of Champions.
None have been able to dethrone Orton – for long, at least – while armed with a pair of well deployed mercenaries in Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, his Legacy.
But if it’s one thing Cena has done time and again, it is excel in the most critical settings. A signature clutch performance against The Miz in a “Beat the Clock” Match on Monday Night Raw earned Cena his dance with Orton at SummerSlam. The brief instance by which the No. 1 contender secured his title bout could lead to the ushering in of a new WWE Championship reign at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

Women's Champion Michelle McCool vs. Melina

Two of the most lethal Divas in WWE will once again clash for the gold when Women’s Champion Michelle McCool attempts to defend her title against Melina at Night of Champions. Their second struggle for Diva dominance over all Friday night threatens to reach an even greater level of intensity than their previous battle at The Bash.
Since carrying the coveted Women’s gold to SmackDown as part of the 2009 WWE Draft, Melina has been on an absolute tear, kicking her supremely aggressive style into high gear as she acquaints herself with the smart, sexy, and powerful Divas of Friday night. Her unrelenting assault inside the squared circle commands both respect and fear from any Diva that has the nerve to face her.
But the ruthless McCool refused to make way for the new Friday night arrival. Instead, she sharpened her already legendary mean streak and honed her dangerous ability to work outside the rules. Michelle used these attributes and more, ultimately reigning supreme over Melina at The Bash to become the first Diva to capture both the Divas and Women’s Titles. United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Big Show vs. MVP vs. Carlito vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz

As announced on Raw, United States Champion Kofi Kingston will defend his gold against Big Show, The Miz, Carlito, MVP and Jack Swagger in a rarely seen Six Pack Challenge this Sunday at Night of Champions.
This may have the Jamaican Superstar slightly concerned considering the odds are greater than 80 percent that someone else will walk out as the champion. But Kofi has never backed down from a challenge, and he’ll do whatever he needs to come out on top.
The five other men who will be stepping into the ring with Kingston aren’t strangers to being champion, and it is no secret that each one of them will do everything in their power to secure the first pinfall or submission to secure the gold. But with all six men in the ring at the same time, getting that victory will not be an easy task at all.
Will The World’s Largest Athlete use his size to dominate the competition? Or perhaps “The All-American American” will use his in-ring prowess to win his first title since being traded to Raw? Or might we need to suffer through more intolerable rants from The Miz about how he is “awesome” and the new United States Champion?

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler

At Night of Champions, Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio will put his coveted title on the line against the up and coming Dolph Ziggler. And though the masked Superstar has already proven himself as a tremendous champion, Ziggler is quickly establishing that he knows how to win against the odds.
Since setting his own personal benchmark to carry on the proud tradition of the title he wears around his waist, Rey Mysterio has raised his level of competition to new heights. The great champions of the past must have been smiling as he engaged nine-time Intercontinental Champ Chris Jericho in numerous battles of epic proportions. And despite his many major accomplishments throughout his career, the high-flying champion has truly leaped to the top of his game in recent months.
Dolph Ziggler came to SmackDown as part of the 2009 Draft, promising that the WWE Universe would remember his name. What started as an open challenge to the SmackDown locker room ended with three consecutive victories over The Great Khali. And he has since followed that up with impressive victories over R-Truth & John Morrison. After tasting such high-profile success, a collision with a champion of Mysterio’s caliber was inevitable.
Two weeks prior to Night of Champions, after Mysterio overcame over Jericho on SmackDown, Ziggler suddenly came from nowhere to launch a sneak attack on the triumphant champion. After throwing to the waiting arms of Jericho and Edge, the confident Superstar finished him off with a vicious neckbreaker.
Rey Mysterio has shown his championship heroism time and time again. But as the emerging Dolph Ziggler prepares to compete in his second pay-per-view in a month, can the masked Superstar stop the momentum of the rising Superstar?

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Triple H

At Night of Champions, the Power of Three will also be on prominent display as a triumvirate of headstrong Superstars – WWE Champion Randy Orton, John Cena and Triple H – clash for the most coveted title in all of WWE.
The history simmering between Orton and Triple H has been well-documented and has lately boiled over into a deep, personal cruelty. For months, The Viper targeted Triple H and his family, including wife Stephanie McMahon, until finally he punted The Game in the skull, leaving his nemesis incapacitated for months.
The recent return of The King of Kings to Raw shocked everyone, including the WWE Champion, who found himself on the punishing end of Triple H’s vengeance – and a steel chair.
While the animosity between Orton and Triple H will unquestionably hang foul in the air, how might the inclusion of Cena affect the dynamic of the match? Cena has dealt with The Viper on several occasions but has only faced The Game one-on-one three times, resulting in one win, one loss and, most recently, a double disqualification. One hint may be found in the Triple Threat Match from WrestleMania XXIV, during which Cena, Triple H and then-WWE Champion Orton clashed.
It was toward the end of that match when Triple H and Cena traded heavy-fisted blows until finally The Game was able to administer a devastating Pedigree. Just when it appeared that The King of Kings would emerge with the gold, however, The Viper struck, punting The Cerebral Assassin squarely in the temple and quickly slithering atop Cena for the three-count to retain.
While two Superstars left empty-handed that night, there’s little doubt that both Triple H and Cena will do everything in their respective power to prevent a repeat performance. How they plan to achieve that is anyone’s guess. After all, each man prides himself on the ability to tackle challenges on their own, having proven that they’re their own men, prepared to plow through any Superstar, friend or foe, to capture gold again.
Will an intense focus of Orton and The Game on one another allow Cena to capitalize? Can Orton once again find the cunning enough to retain his precious gold? Will Orton’s Legacy henchmen play a role? Will Triple H and Cena find common cause to eliminate The Viper?

Unified Tag Team Champions Edge & Chris Jericho vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase

As announced by Raw special guest host The Million Dollar Man, his son, Ted DiBiase, & Cody Rhodes will get another golden opportunity at Night of Champions as they will face Edge & Chris Jericho for the Unified Tag Team Titles. But with the injury The Rated-R Superstar suffered to Achilles tendon, this match and the champions' reign could be in jeopardy.

The two younger Legacy members earned a championship bout for The Bash against then-champions Carlito & Primo, but thanks to SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long feeling the pressure, he made a last minute change on pay-per-view – the addition of Edge & Jericho into the match.
Unfortunately, this new development ended up working against DiBiase & Rhodes as The Rated-R Superstar, always looking for opportunities to capitalize on, made a blind tag on Rhodes and caught an unaware Carlito off-guard with a vicious spear and the title-seizing pin.
Now that The Legacy – former World Tag Team Champions – has another opportunity to add more gold to their résumés, will they be able to defeat the team of two very accomplished Superstars in Edge & Jericho? The only way to find out is to watch Night of Champions, available only on pay-per-view.
