In order to continue to effectively deliver Concierge Services we require to appoint 2 Concierge Officers to enhance our current Concierge team. The posts require a hands-on approach with manual duties being carried out daily as well as the operation of our state of the art CCTV and security system.

The successful candidates will be committed to developing a customer friendly, caring service to ensure maximum tenant security and welfare.

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work on their own initiative, and a positive approach.

Office Closed for Public Holiday

West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative main office will be closed all day Monday, 7th May for the public holiday. The office will open as normal at 9.15 am on Tuesday, 8th May.

Whilst the office is shut, tenants can contact our 24 hour concierge team for advice in an emergency on tel: 0141 646 1924.

Whitlawburn Community Resource Centre will be our local polling station on 3rd May. The Cafe will be open during the day, but not accessible from the main entrance.

Housing and Transfer Applications Review

Our annual review of the housing and transfer list is over. We are writing to everyone who didn’t respond to our previous letters to let them know that their application is cancelled. If you have received a cancellation later, but still want to be on our housing or transfer list you should contact us straight away with your name and application reference number.

Every year we write to everyone on our housing and transfer list to make sure that they still want to be considered for housing in this area, and that there are no changes in their circumstances. If an applicant doesn’t respond to our letters, we cancel their application which means they won’t be considered for a property.

Lockups: no flammable liquids

In view of the British government’s recent comments about a potential fuel shortage, we want to remind all lockup tenants that they are not allowed to store flammable liquids in the lockups. This is for safety reasons. Storing flammable liquids is a breach of your tenancy conditions and will result in your lockup tenancy being terminated.

The new Allpay App to pay your rent

The allpay App is a brand new mobile application (App) available to download from the Apple App Store and the Android Market for tenants with Apple or Android smartphone.

How will the allpay App benefit you?
The App is available free of charge and enables you to pay bills easily, wherever you are, at the touch of a button.

You can store all of your payment reference numbers and payment amounts so you don’t have to enter them every time. You can create a 4 digit pin number to access the app so you don’t need to go through a lengthy log in process every time you want to use it.
All of this in the secure environment you would expect from allpay.
The allpay App is just one of the ways you can use your smartphone to make payments. You can also make payments over the internet, by telephone or by SMS text message, giving you the ability to make payments anywhere where there is mobile signal.
