Seminar tersebut dimaksudkan guna mewujudkan amanat Undang-Undang RI Nomor 40 tahun 2009 tentang Kepemudaan, Pasal 51 mengenai pembentukan Lembaga Permodalan Kewirausahaan Pemuda.

Pada tahun 1970 an, Bali dikenal sebagai daerah pengkonsumsi penyu terbesar di Indonesia.
Pada kurun waktu tersebut, yaitu pada tahun 1969 – 1999, kebutuhan penyu di Bali khususnya penyu hijau (Chelonia mydas) mencapai 19.628 ekor – 30.121 ekor per tahun. Saat itu, penyu hijau belum dilindungi. Namun demikian kondisi ini banyak mengundang protes dari berbagai pihak, bahkan Bali di juluki sebagai “daerah pembantai penyu terbesar di dunia “ dan banyak pihak yang mengancam akan memboikot pariwisata Bali. Padahal sebagai lembaga konservasi TCEC telah mampu melakukan konservasi dan penyedaran terhadap masyarakat Bali akan kepunahan satwa langka penyu.

Kepala Pusat Pendidikan dan Konservasi Penyu (TCEC) Wayan Geriya ketika ditemui di Tanjung Bungkak (20/2) menyatakan TCEC terancam tutup karena tidak ada lagi bantuan dana operasional dari pemerintah provinsi Bali. Bukan karena gajah suka merusak atau menyerang manusia, karena hewan ini bukan jenis yang agresif. Tetapi gajah-gajah itu hanya melintasi rute penjelajahan mereka yang sudah dilakukan puluhan tahun. Sementara ladang-ladang petani itu adalah baru dibuka beberapa tahun belakangan.

Fenomena di atas adalah representasi bagaimana perebutan wilayah antar manusia dengan alam (hewan, tanaman, air dsbnya). Manusia membutuhkan pertanian, perkebunan untuk kehidupannya, tetapi sering kali membuka hutan dengan tidak bijak. Kenapa? Karena saat itu adalah musim dingin di belahan bumi selatan, sekaligus musim libur. Maka orang-orang Australia pun menggunakan waktu liburan untuk pergi ke Bali, demi mendapatkan kehangatan matahari.

Ternyata tidak hanya manusia yang berpindah tempat, burung-burung pun melakukan ‘wisata’ ke Indonesia atau yang dikenal migrasi. Ada 2 arah migrasi burung, yaitu dari dari daerah utara (Rusia, Jepang, China) ke selatan (Indonesia, Filipina) dan dari selatan (Australia) ke utara (Indonesia, Filipina). Tetapi jalur selatan ini jumlahnya sedikit dan masih jarang penelitian dan pengamatan burung yang melaporkan jalur migrasi dari selatan ini.

Dulu lembaga pendidikan yang satu ini lebih populer dengan sebutan STM Penerbangan Jakarta. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan kebijakan pemerintah d ibidang pendidikan, lembaga yang hampir 90% siswanya kaum adam ini berevolusi menjadi SMK Negeri 29 (Penerbangan ), Jakarta.

Sekolah yang beralamat di Jl. Prof. DR. Sutono, SH No. 1 Kebayoran Baru ini terlihat begitu kokoh, maklum termasuk bangunan lama. Walaupun begitu gedung SMK Negeri ini tampak terawat, termasuk penghijauan di sekitarnya. Taman di lingkungan SMK yang memiliki area seluas 2 hektar ini  tampak hijau dan tertata rapi, menggambarkan  pengelolanya begitu peduli terhadap kelestarian lingkungan hidup.
