Hi

Back in 2006 we tentatively sent out our first newsletter, six years later we're feeling a similar trepidation with what will be our final (ever) culturepool newsletter.

It's difficult to put our incredible culturepool adventure into words, but with the help of Fiona Shaw (Wordscapes) and Michael Snowdon (The Microcosm) we've put together culturepool 'the book' to document the journey, and to say thanks to everyone we've met and worked with.

You can take a look at the electronic version of the book here on the culturepool website. The website will be up for a while, thanks to our wonderful web techies at Made By Bridge.

We're currently looking for funding to get the book published. If we're successful and you'd be interested in purchasing a printed copy, email us at info@culturepool.org.uk and we'll keep you up to date.

It truly has been an amazing experience for the both of us, and we really want you to carry on enjoying Liverpool's culture without us.

Thank you and Goodbye,

Luan & Vinny

Hi All

We hope you’ve had a fab festive Christmas and 2012 brings you everything you wish for.

As you know, after an amazing six years we’ve made the decision to close culturepool, but we would like to invite you all to join us for a celebratory drink on Thursday January 19th when we’ll be catching up for the last time in Studio 2 on Parr Street for farewell drinks and a bit of reminiscing.

Join us if you can and say a final farewell to culturepool… See full details below.

Best Wishes

Over the last six years culturepool has organised around 100 events, but it’s success has always been down to the people who’ve attended; and the artists, performers & venues we’ve worked with.

It’s been an amazing journey for us and we hope it has been for you too, so please join us for the last time as we raise a glass to culturepool at Studio 2, Parr Street on Thursday 19th January from 7pm.

We’re looking forward to sharing a night with all the friends we’ve made since culturepool opened in 2006, & hope you can make it.

Hi all

Just a little reminder about our last cultural event ever (ever!) at The Edge Hill Station Archive on Saturday 19th November at 1pm. Come and join us for a cuppa, cake & memories of Edge Hill Station and culturepool. The event will be our last before our ‘do’ in January and it would be great if you pop down & share it with us!

The event is FREE, but to help with stocking up the kitchen could you please email booking@culturepool.org.uk or call 0151 236 0796 to let us know you’re coming. Full details below.

Continuing on a nostalgic theme, our friends at Club Geek Chic are ready to take you Back To The Eighties with their host Rinty Boo (from 1982), and have a special culturepool guest list with tickets for just £10 (normally £12). From 8.30pm ‘til late; 80s attire most certainly encouraged! Email info@littleatomproductions.com to book your ticket and pay cash on door, or you can pre-pay for your ticket online using promo code ‘culturepool’. For more details follow the event link.

Luan & Vinny
xx

Hi all

Come and join us for a cuppa, cake & memories of Edge Hill Station at The Edge Hill Station Archive, an exhibition 181 years in the making. The historic Edge Hill station has been culturepool’s home for the last couple of years and it only seems fitting that we finish our cultural journey there with our friends at Metal, who have put together this amazing archive. This will be our last cultural event before our ‘do’ in January and it would be great if you pop down & share it with us!

The event is FREE, but to help with stocking up the kitchen could you please email booking@culturepool.org.uk or call 0151 236 0796 to let us know you’re coming. Full details below.
