Reagan helped clean too!  :)

I painted the majority of the room on Sunday afternoon. But guuuuueeess what? My Monday was jam packed, Tues – Thurs was filled with CPA-ing, and I am about to jet off to shoot a wedding today. I am going to Fredricksburg tomorrow and have two sessions on Sunday and Monday BUT hopefully I can finish the edging sometime this weekend and show you. I love it. Like kind of obsessed with it love it!!! Eek!

PS – I am behind on blogging…my father-in-law turned the big 6-0 yesterday! Happy Birthday Rob!! Glad we got to celebrate with you this past weekend!

This has been in the works for the past year and I am so excited to finally share this news! Kinda crazy, eh? I can’t believe they took our engagement photos…and now I work with them! Best bosses ever!!

I’m 12 weeks preggo this week! Hasta la vista first trimester! I’m not so sure about this photo taking business, but I’m gonna stick it out. This dress – not the most flattering. This pose – well, I think it actually makes me look more pregnant than I do in real life?! I actually kinda look pregnant in this photo! Or bloated, your choice.

I’ve been really lucky. So far I have only yacked twice and I’m not sure that I’d count either of them as true morning sickness. The first time I threw up after eating yogurt, but yogurt is kinda weird anyways. I mean, right? And the second time was definitely initially car sickness. I don’t think my preggo stomach could handle it though, so upchuck galore. Behind a Whataburger. On our way home from Utopia. Classy. I do get crazy hungry these days and if I don’t have something to eat within two seconds (literally), then I can feel a little nauseous. But then when I eat something I am fine.

Dude, I can smell like you wouldn’t believe. And everything smells. Milo smells, the kitchen smells, our room smells, your face smells, everything smells.

I’ve never been so tired in my life. Add in tax season, second shooting weddings on Saturdays, and a busy month for portrait sessions…and color me exhausted. It was so fun to shoot so many sessions these last couple months, but I am still playing catch up! I’ve got more sessions to blog and my May schedule is quickly filling up. Luckily tax season is over! The best news is that for the first time since I was like 12, I can fall asleep before 11pm. It’s like a Christmas miracle.

I’ve been running a few times a week and plan to keep going til I’m large and in charge!

All the kids flew into Albuquerque this past weekend for a quick “surprise” visit for my dad’s 60th birthday! On Saturday night we went to a restuarant called  Bien Shur at the top of Sandia Casino overlooking the golf course and the mountains. It was awesome and the food was amazing. Afterwards we played downstairs with the Liesl Bug for a bit and snapped a couple photos…

I don’t know about you, but new running shoes or running clothes give me that little extra boost of motivation to get out there!

I’ve been avoiding buying new running shoes because I have worn the same Nike Free’s forever it seems like. I made sure to purchase an extra pair, when I discovered I loved that specific version so much. Of course, they no longer make that version and I was forced to try something new. These are from the Nike Lunarswift family. So far, so good!

I’ve been wanting to make coasters of some type for a long time. Then I saw Martha Stewart’s new line of stencils and it was my “aha!” moment. I’m loving quatrefoil these days. I waited for my Michael’s 40% off coupon and went out and snagged them!

This project is easy and cheap! Music to my ears  :)

Here’s what you’ll need:

Spray Paint

Spray Adhesive

Clear Acrylic Coat Spray Paint

Stencil

White Square Tiles

Spray your stencil and press it firmly to your tile.

Step Two: Spray Paint!

Step 3: Once the spray paint is dry, spray your clear coat on top to protect it.

Now they are nicely sitting on my coffee table!  :) I’m not going to lie, it took me a couple of tries to figure out the spray adhesive and the best placement of the stencil, but I love how they turned out!

Let’s all take a deep big girl/big boy breath and get over the fact that I (or we) peed on these sticks, so that we can talk about them without giggling, like adults…ha! I thought this was too funny not to document. Four tests in one night. Can you tell we are first timers? The problem is that the second line on the dang stick is SO light! We were like – uhhh, what does that mean?! Am I just kind of pregnant?! So I took three tests, and then Reagan took one so that we could compare! HA! I love it. As a photographer, I clearly couldn’t just throw these bad boys away without snapping a photo.

I know I haven’t filled you in on all the juicy pregnancy details yet! I’m planning a big post for next week. I’ll be 12 weeks eggo preggo next Tuesday and done with the first trimester! Crazy! As for now, me and baby – also known as Baby Loo, B. Loo, and Babalou – are doing great!
