1. Google Blogger

This is a great blogging tool for guys who don't want to pay for a blog. It's better when you understand web design principles.

Blogger has been criticized because of its inability to allow use of third party plugins to provide better site performance.

In spite of that, Blogger still works well in terms of Google ranking if used well. I think it's because Blogger is Google's trademark.

2. WordPress

The supplier of both free and paid blogs. Paid blogs though start from as low as $4 per month. That turns to 48 dollars in a year.

If you can pay, pay because that gives you more tools and a full custom domain name like emmy.com instead of emmy.wordpress.com.

3. Wix

Like a better version of WordPress, wix allows a person without any indepth computer knowledge to create a blog.

You just have to add simple widgets and edit directly like in Microsoft PowerPoint.

The flexibility is great. If you don't have much computer knowledge, try using wix.

4. Medium

Medium is just like Google Blogger. You only get an account on medium and start off.

Because medium is a very large website with predefined topics to write for, your blog has higher chances of success.

One downside is that you don't own your content. On Google Blogger, you can purchase a custom domain to make your site yours, but on medium, it's not possible.

5. Weebly

The main concepts of design

As a traveler, I am going to shower you with all the techniques that I have learnt along the way.

1. Watch

Design is all about watching and analyzing other designs. You shouldn't look at a great design and move on. As a designer, you have to internalize it and think about how you can create it.

As time goes, you'll be familiar with many design styles making it easy for you to think about what designs to use and how to modify existing designs on your own project.

It's the main concept of design and almost all learning depends on it. Take an example, you can't become a great programmer if you haven't had time to read other people's code and understand how they work around it.

2. Color

Understanding designs isn't enough. Without color, you can't bring out a theme or business color.

You need to learn how to use at most five colors in a page and making sure that more than seventy percent of those colors are congruent or are variations of one color.

That way, you can bring out meaning in a design and of course maintain suit.

3. Theme

Once you get fluent with colors, you now have to understand theme. With theme, you have to decide on which color to concentrate on in your design.

With theme, you can create identical variants of your design just by simply using the same variations of the new color theme.

That's nice if you already decided how many colors to use and where to use them.

4. Space

Space is king with design. As a designer, you need to know how to use space to bring out value in your design.

This includes padding and margin. These two parts of design are very key to separation of information.

If you're perfect in using space then you can design a black and white UI/UX yet giving true meaning to your users.

5. Content

Lastly, as a designer, you have to consider content. Show the main information clearly and make sure your content is qualified.

What's the use of a nice design with very shallow content. More than 80% of the users will concentrate on what you are giving them not how you are giving.

This is a great sailor's tool as a designer. It helps you calm down when you fail to achieve a certain level of design you had planned before. It's like:

"Don't mind boy, as long as you are giving quality content clearly".

Lol, when you create your blog, you are always drawn to thinking that you don't need to protect your blog from competitors. That's nearly senseless, but because your blog is new, you think no one will try hitting you down inorder to secure his future prosperity.

It has happened to x-droov and it can surely happen to you. One good thing was that we dealt with it seriously and we are now safe.

There are so many ways in which a person can kill your website ranking or web visibility that's why Google is taking caution to acting swiftly on reported websites.

How Google is protecting you from competitors

Google is aware of the green-eyed guyz and is ready to work with you to make sure you're on line.

1. Delaying action

Google always delays action on websites that have been reported multiple times.

With multiple times, I mean that your website was first reported to Google as a defaulter then you appealed and it was reinstated. With such a site, Google hesitates quick action, but instead warns the webmaster.

Blogger is very vulnerable to kick outs in the early stages. If a competitor reports your blog as spammy and it's the first time it's being reported, Blogger will take it offline as soon as possible.

It's now your turn to protect yourself.

1. Backup your content weekly

On Blogger, navigate to settings, scroll down and click backup.

It'll download for you an xml format of your whole blog. That's good in case a shitty action is done by Google and you can't reinstate your blog. It's mostly recommended for new blogs.

2. Have a search console account

A search console account warns you about all reports by anyone on your site. An example is someone reporting your blog for phishing or spam.

It's easier to correct the mess when you have a console account. In short you can't correct some feck reports if you don't have a search console account.

Quickly create a search console account to be on the safe side.

3. Moderate all comments

It's difficult to do it as a site grows, but it's recommended.

Comments are the only way a person can place personal information on your blog. Someone could post sensitive financial or personal information on your comments then report your site to Google for exposing his or her information.

With moderated comments, they don't have a chance at you.

To moderate comments, go to Blogger settings and scroll to the comments then change the moderation to always.

4. Be a good parent

A good parent checks on his or her kids regularly to make sure they are okay. That's what you need to do for your blog. Keep checking on it even when you are not posting.

You'll be in time to save your site.

5. Watch for copyright and Blogger privacy terms

Try to use uncopyrighted content on your blog because it's the only way you can be hit head on. Don't post violent content without adding an age warning.

Don't post pictures of minors or someone's kids without prior permission. That's what is basic.

When to use nofollow at page level - x-droov

Someone must have told you the importance of using the link nofollow attribute. This might have prompted you to use the nofollow addition at page level.

You may be reluctant to adding nofollow attributes to individual links, but it's going to kill your site. Read on to know why.

Google bots look for "link rel" attributes for every link they get on your site. Adding a link nofollow attribute at page level means that it's modifying each and every link on your page.

As a result, internal links to your own pages get nofollow attributes.

Let me now explain the real essence of a nofollow attribute.

A link with nofollow is downgraded. Google gives less attention to them. In a page with both dofollow and nofollow modifications, only the dofollow links are discovered.

The nofollow links are ignored. If it's a page that has already been indexed then it'll rank low because you don't trust your own pages (you added nofollow to your own links).

If on the other side, you are a new blog and you add nofollow, your pages will take very long to get discovered by Google and eventually longer to get indexed.

Take an example. If you add a nofollow at page level on your homepage, all your new posts with links on only your homepage won't be discovered by Google unless you submit a sitemap or link to that post in another page.

Nofollow links mean so much to a new site that you shouldn't even use them if you don't truly understand their working.

How to use nofollow link attribute

1. Use on individual links

This is the first rule. If you want to nofollow links in a page, do it one link after the other.

2. Use on only external links

As a new site, you want Google to discover most of your urls. To do so, you shouldn't put nofollow attributes on your internal links.

3. Never use it at page level

I don't know why you would want to use a nofollow attribute at page level. It will hurt you badly. Each page on your site has footer links, related posts links and many more internal links.

Adding nofollow at page level will affect all those links.

4. Use automated features

If you can, you can code a Blogger gadget that helps you in nofollowing all external links. This requires JavaScript and HTML knowledge.

It will help you use nofollow external links at page level. That Blogger gadget isn't existent, but hopefully, we as x-droov will build it and make it available for you.

How to create an AdSense account

Really, you don't need to create one. You just need to claim it as long as you have a Google account or gmail account.

Navigate to;

google.com/adsense

with your Google account.

Fill out your blog name and click request review.

Another way is to create an AdSense account then go back to your blogspot blog.

In the menu, click on earnings

Under the earnings, you'll see a message that:

"we see you have an AdSense account. Connect to AdSense".

Click on that and it'll take you directly to the required data. Fill out your blog and submit it.

This is the best approach.

Once you have submitted your blog for AdSense review, it won't be reviewed quickly so be patient.

The best approach is to check on your email daily for an AdSense mail.

Once you are reviewed, you'll get a message like the one below.

How long it takes for AdSense to review your blog

It's always around one week. When I applied for x-droov, it took around six days for me to receive the email with my confirmation.

What to do when you are confirmed

You'll be excited, of course, and it's fine. Now that you have what you wanted, it's time to add the ads to your site.

The first ad type we'll look at are AUTO ads. It's a new advertising strategy where AdSense determines when and where to put ads on your pages. It also gives ads according to the type of visitors.

Auto ads have a higher return value.

They are the easiest to configure. You can add them through AdSense or on your blog directly.

Adding auto ads through AdSense

When you use the AdSense, you're given a piece of code to post around the head section of your blog.

To do so, copy that code, go to the Blogger menu,

Click theme then click customize to get the drop-down menu where you'll select editHTML.

In that large piece of code, scroll around the top for the HTML element below;

It's always at the top around the top twenty lines of code. Paste the AdSense code just below that element and save.

Adding auto ads through Blogger

Here you just have to navigate to the menu, click earnings.

When cleared for AdSense, you must get a banner in your earnings section asking whether you want to use auto ads.

Click that banner and you'll be onto adding auto ads.

For more money, use all types of auto ads and also do one last thing;

Don't put ads on your homepage by adding it in the ad exceptions and lastly share the article with your folks.

As usual your bot will not be able to properly emulate human behavior if it can't do a simple click. In this part of our Android web bot guide, we are going to go through how to make a bot that clicks on an offline page.

After making that bot, we'll also make one that fills out forms in html and submits them.

That's a great bot isn't it?

That's it. You place your html file in the assets folder of your project then refer to it using:

The method loadUrl() runs asynchronously so we call upon it in a new thread.

If you don't call it using a new thread, nothing will happen.

Next on our list is a bot that fills out a form field. We are going to add a form field to our html and change some parts of our code.

When passing in our javascript code, we use variables like:

If you don't, the code will jam.

We would use the javascript click method to perform a click just like the example below

That should work pretty well for you. No hustles.

Artificial intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality are terms we come through several times in a year, but what works behind them is what only a handful of guys understand.

The wheel behind every technological advancement is a programming language. Over time, languages have moved from being very hard to understand to easy to grab languages.

With such a switch, the number of programmers is increasing though not at a great rate in underdeveloped countries.

Whether you are a newbie or a champ in a certain language, I am going to list for you the most important languages to learn in 2022. Don't mind about the order because every language I am listing is worthy learning if you should.

1. Java

From mobile apps, web applications to desktop apps and games, java is a concrete language to learn in 2022.

Java code can be run on any system making it a great and secure language for programming. It's one of the recommended languages for Android app development apart from Kotlin.

Many people have predicted that kotlin will override java in the coming years, but java remains a major language learnt by computer science students. Java has also come a long way meaning it has very many libraries and back up material in comparison to kotlin.

Out of Android development, you will use java for desktop and iOS app development. This solves the need to rewrite code for the same app running on iOS.

2. JavaScript

The web is growing faster and will continue to grow. Better interaction with the end user is needed and on top of that list is JavaScript.

The language behind popups, web animations, online games and web applications should be in your head if you need to build websites.

Desktop apps haven't gained so much momentum because of the strategic expansion of the mobile industry.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't learn desktop programming. C# is very simple for those who have java knowledge because of the similar syntax.

Learning it shouldn't be left out mainly for desktop lovers keeping in mind that C# is an extension of C meaning it works near the hardware.

5. PHP

The server side Singleton. JavaScript, python and many other languages have extended to server side programming, but PHP's specialization in server side programming makes it invaluable.

The language easily works with html and offers better dynamic programming. Companies that process so much data in the background always use PHP.

You'll be surprised to know that PHP is what you really need to create very interactive server side programmes.

In addition, many web hosting agencies support PHP coding. PHP is also the best mate to other languages like java to provide better back end applications.

6. SQL

It isn't considered a programming language by many because most people only understand the basic actions of querying a database.

SQL is a concrete programming language with thorough logic. Everyone is using a database to make data storage and retrieval very simple.

That's why almost all programming language have an API(Application Programming Interface) to work with SQL.

Being able to work perfectly with SQL can add to your ability to get a good job or make interesting and user oriented apps and websites.

7. Python

Let me not forget python. Considered a language for kids below twelve because of its simple syntax.

Anyone can learn python. Python is great for making intelligent systems, and help in website programming.

Some people learn python for fun. Python isn't a standalone language. Most times you have to use it to help another language achieve better interaction.

This is why all learners are advised to not learn python by printing on the console, but by solving real problems.

8. C

C is the hardware language since the 20th century. C is the language used to control machines, build operating systems, kernels and many more hardware communicating systems.

In the beginning times of your site, post regularly. When I started X-droov with my friends, we used to post daily for two months. After that, we then reduced posting frequency.

The main issue here is to allow Google bots to master your website.

How Google bots work.

Bots are computer programs hosted by Google that crawl the web for new content. When these bots land on your site, the first thing they consider is when your site was created and the last time it was modified.

For a new site, bots won't crawl your site regularly. They might even crawl it once in the first month. As time goes, the bots will come back and start considering update frequency.

If by then, you are posting daily, those bots will start coming regularly to catch up with you.

As time goes, they will start indexing (puting your pages on Google search results) your pages and then your pages will start ranking on Google.

When your pages rank well, you get more people clicking on them so, more traffic and therefore more money from that traffic through methods explained before.

That's why posting regularly is the first step to success.

2. SEO

SEO(Search Engine Optimization) is an act of making your web pages viable for ranking highly on Google.

Your pages can be added to Google, but they won't rank high if you didn't do SEO well. The main target of SEO is to put your page on Google's top ten results so that you can harness much traffic.

So, how do you start SEO.

Several guys give in-depth guides on SEO online. We at x-droov cover our findings about SEO in our Blogging category.

I will only rub some facts on your face in this article. In SEO, you write posts while optimizing for a certain keyword. For example a post that's well optimized for a key word "red apple" will rank on Google page one for "red apple" search results.

You also need to write your post title and description with your main keywords in mind. This increases your chances of ranking high.

The other strategy is getting backlinks from other good sites. When you have several links back to your site from authoritative sites, you rank better than one without.

One way to get those links is guest posting. Guest posting is submitting articles to other sites for free in exchange for a backlink.

As time goes, your site will become an authority and it'll get free backlinks from guys referring to your content.

Creating an Android web bot in java - x-droov

If you understand automation in java and JavaScript then getting on with creating an Android web bot becomes an easy task. I looked for guides on creating web bots, but I got different answers which never fulfilled what I wanted.

After that, I decided to take another direction into my research, automation. That's what got me to the real answer.

In this tri-article series, we are going to create a simple web bot using automation features.

What's a web bot

To my understanding, a web bot is an intelligent automation piece of code. Take an example, you needed to search for a certain word and retrieve certain results from all search engines.

You could make a code that automatically iterates through those search engines' URLs and retrieves what you want. At the end of it, the bot gives you what you want.

Requirements for you to make intelligent bots

The web is mastered on three main languages; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You must be very proficient with those languages to make web bots in any other language.

This is because, to make a web bot, you need to first understand the structure of a website then code your bot to navigate to parts you want it to.

In opposition, you could also make a bot that learns from what you do. That's a bot which clicks links. You could navigate to a site and click a link then your bot will automatically read the click and determine which element you clicked. Later, it'll be able to click that same link for you.

How web bots are made in java- Android

In Android, web bots work with the webview class. Through that class you can load XSS to control what is displayed at what moment. That means you could decide to do very rapid web actions within a few clicks.

To make our bot, we have to first make the lowest of bots, the browser bot.

This bot will load a page automatically then display it for us just like a normal browser.

If you don't understand html and JavaScript well, first go and learn them well or research what you don't know. I covered an introduction to web design so, you could first start there.

In your Android layout, add a button and a webview. The button fires our bot.

The setJavaScriptEnabled() method allows your webview to load JavaScript based webpages.

setWebViewClient() allows your webview to display web content and not refer to your existent browser like chrome. This makes your app a complete browser. If you wondered how guys made Android html editors, just know that they simply used the webview class.

That's a web bot. What if we want our robot to load several pages one after the other.

You would use the JavaScript onload listener with a setTimeout() timing function that breaks within the first iteration. The delay will be the time you want a page to be visible before the next is loaded.

You could even use a new thread to load the next page async so that there's no black out on your screen.

Preparing for xmass - x-droov

Life isn't worth work and only work. You need to have some time to connect with reality and do some dancing and partying. As it's the last day towards xmass, We on x-droov decided to chip in and prepare x-droov for xmass.

It's a long time from last year's December and if you're alive and rolling right now then you need to get some time to celebrate that.

I don't mean waiting for your birthday to do that. You see, I heard some mystery from my cousin. It goes like;

"Every human dies in the same month he was born or in any other month, but on the day he was born".

I haven't yet got enough evidence to believe it, but my conscience fears that it may be true.

As for me, Emmy Jayson, I am celebrating xmass in the village with my brothers and of course dad and mom.

I wish it goes well for everyone and we all check on next year. Losing someone is painful, but it's normal. If I die now, I don't give a damn because it's the day I am supposed to do so.

We have come from far. X-droov is now two months and a few weeks old. That's great by the way because, as of today, we have more than sixty five blog posts on the web.

Most guys are shopping for xmass. I also did that, but it's not a constant. When I lack money, I don't buy clothes for any occasion. People are different. If you feel you need to, do all you can to get to anyone you know.

Even if you do that, xmass will be gone in a snap and all will come back normally. You may have money, but you have plans for your life whose worth overrides one day's happiness. If that's it, feast and forget about it.

I don't know what can turn out from the next ten days, but I know what's happening now.

How to remove the blogger icon from your blog - x-droov

The Blogger icon shows slavery and Blogger's direct ownership of your blog. Learning to remove it gives you space for a custom footer and other interesting activities on your site. If you've used WordPress blogs before, there's a similar WordPress logo and a phrase "make your site with WordPress" on each free site.

What does that show?

It simply shows that you're liable to advertising the CMS that holds your blog content. You need freedom such that when someone uses your blog, he doesn't feel like he's using a free piece of shit.

In this guide, I am going to move you through the process of removing the Blogger icon from your blog.

How Blogger is made

Blogger is made of a template. That template is one piece of code controlling how all parts of your blog appear. You can see your blog template code by going to the Theme.

Click editHTML

There it is. The monster code controlling your blog. If you understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript, you'll be able to try and understand the structure of your blog. What makes it complex is the Blogger XML tags used to determine which gadget appears in which section.

If you don't know any computer language, keep watch and I will explain all the steps to the core.

Steps to removing the Blogger icon

1. Scroll to the bottom of the template code

Once you are at the bottom, look for the Blogger icon gadget. It's also backed by the Blogger attribution gadget. We want to make sure none of them appears in our blog.

2. Adding comments

If you have studied web design to the core, you learn one thing. When changing a certain piece of code, instead of deleting the unwanted code, you have to make it a comment such that if the change is not what you expect, you can then remove the comment tags and the code runs as before.

So, how do you add comments.

In HTML and XML, you add multi-line comments by adding  after the code. An example is.

You'll see that the color of characters in a comment turns greyish.

Where to add comments

Add the opening tag, <!--, before the following code.

Add the closing tag, -->, just before the last <div> tag.

3. Saving the code

Save your code, but after it is saved successfully, work on the next step such that your icon will never appear again.

How to move past failure - x-droov

You're probably going to fail several times in life and with that failure comes destruction or self growth. The great thing is that you have the ability to select whether you lose or win after a failure, but that ability is backed by your know-how to moving past failure.

Have you ever failed?

This is the first question you should ask yourself. If yes, how did you react to it. Did you spend weeks thinking about how messy you were. Thinking about how unfair life is and why you might end up being a failure in everything. Or, did you accept the failure and decided to go retrace the steps you took towards it to discover what caused it?

If you found what caused the problem, did you search for what that failure taught you.

Those are the two paths a person can take after failure. If you always take the first. Don't get scared, you can try changing how you react to failure with these three steps.

Steps to moving past failure

Moving past failure isn't escaping it. It is just a way in which you try all you can to stay productive and venture into other life-building ideas even after being heart broken.

1. Accept the failure

If it's a business failure, accept it and see the advantages it has brought into your life. Running a business is stressing so, if your business fails, rejoice because atleast you don't have to be stressed anymore.

It's all about anything. If it's a love relationship. Maybe you failed in your first attempt to love. Forget about it and concentrate on what makes you happy. For example you won't waste anymore time thinking about that girl and you won't be stressed out trying to look nice to her. It's the same for girls.

2. Keep working

Forget about the pain. Just keep working. The work you are going to do is going to be better than sitting and thinking about your failure.

Keep working and within days or weeks, the failure will be gone for good. In addition to that you would have stayed productive through the hot period.

This is what can kill people running a bunch of businesses at a go. Failure in one business can destroy all the other businesses if you don't learn to keep working with the pain. Look at this, only one business has failed. The others still need you. If you are going to spend days mourning one business, sorry.

You'll wake up when the others are dead.

3. Motivate yourself

Guys are making motivational videos on YouTube. Thousands of them. If your work is not as productive as it used to be, it's because you have lost your drive. Get it back. Read motivating content. Watch videos and jump back into work.

Remember;

No matter how hard you work, there's someone working harder. So, you got to work harder each day.

What to do after moving past failure

Now that you are out of the trap, what do you do.

The only thing you have to do is search for what lesson that failure has taught you. Think deep into what caused it. You may end up facing the same problem in future. The lesson you learnt can tell you whether to jump out of the loop or use a different procedure.

I can't share blogspot links on Facebook ( the answer)- x-droov

The main problem subdomain owners face when it comes to sensitive social media sites like Facebook and Instagram is difficulty in sharing links. Many URLs cannot be shared on Facebook for different stupid reasons. Blogspot users are the prime candidates for Facebook separatism.

You may feel like deleting your blog because in the first months, you won't be receiving traffic from Google so the main way of getting your blog out there would be through social media. With that, each time you try to share your blog, you get a warning.

"We don't allow such links because they are against our community standards."

That message sucks, doesn't it. It does and that's why you are reading this article.

What does Facebook depend on to allow sites to share URLs

1. Domain names

Custom domain names are rarely used for spam compared to subdomains.

Facebook allows custom domains to share URLs ASAP, but it quite sensitive on allowing subdomains do so.

So, yes! Facebook depends on the domain name and other facts discussed next.

2. Traffic

Someone is going to tell you that Facebook only allows you to share sites with high traffic. They might be right in one way, but are very wrong when it comes to real facts.

Facebook never depends on traffic because, how will it know your traffic. Even Alexa just guesses site traffic.

If someone tells you this, simply let it slip off or correct him if you wish.

3. Domain age

Absolutely, this is the answer for all subdomains. I think you're now relieved. So, what is the real domain age at which a subdomain will be liable for sharing on Facebook and Instagram.

Time after which you can share a Blogspot URL on Facebook

Let me keep this short. It needs more than four concrete months for most sites to appear in Facebook's index.

There are exceptions, but never expect to share content on Facebook within the first 2-3 months.

Attention readers ( x-droov is in a battle)

Hello, it's now the second day since we started fighting to protect x-droov from online attacks. It has been a great experience for learning and future article decisions on x-droov.

In this post, I'll break down how x-droov was attacked and what we did to come back on.

On 18th December, I checked on xdroov as I usually do each day. One thing I noticed was that x-droov was gone. Completely gone.

I tried navigating to x-droov.blogspot.com from my browser, but I got a message.

"x-droov.blogspot.com has been removed"

It shocked me so I decided to log into my blogger. Then I found an unbelievable message.

"X-droov is terminated for violating blogger's spam policy"

What's spam

Spam is an act where a writer copies content from an already existent source and places it on his website.

One thing I new was that x-droov had no spam issues so I appealed to Google.

In about thirty minutes Google sent a re-instation message showing that x-droov was back online.

I was scared of losing all this content on x-droov and I nearly regretted using Blogger as our CMS.

Detective outcomes

When I researched the issue deeply, this is what I got. A person reports a blog through it's "report site" button, but that button is missing on x-droov.

So, how did someone report x-droov.

That person probably used Google and the only types of people that know how you can alternatively report a site using Google are bloggers and online maniacs.

That gave us a picture that the attack was from a fellow blogger. Meaning it was someone jealousy of x-droov's progress or someone checking whether x-droov's information is actually ours.

Let's leave that point of view. Today on 19th December, the second attack came. It was from Google search. Meaning, it was made to affect our visibility on Google and our reputation among new visitors.

Someone manually reported x-droov for phishing.

What is phishing

Phishing is an act of making a clone or copy of another page like Facebook login page to trick users into feeding in their information which will be maximized by the attacker.

Seriously, do you see any login form on x-droov?

The attack today confirms a jealousy attack. We would search for the offender using our site and search traffic details and retaliate appropriately, but we don't want to depict a stupid picture to our readers.

How many visitors you need to get AdSense

Google employs its algorithms with very great stealth. No one can say a real number connected to what Google really needs to put AdSense on your blogspot, but I am going to take you through my process to getting ads on xdroov.

When I applied for AdSense, x-droov was nearly a month old and I was updating it with fresh content daily.

By that time, x-droov had around 30 posts. I don't want to talk about the number of posts you need for AdSense in this part because it will be covered in detail in part 3.

In terms of traffic, x-droov had most of the people coming from social media and the total number of visitors was around 198.

That's a very minute number and you can also get that on your blog simply by sharing links with friends.

When AdSense qualified my blog, I got to know two main things concerning traffic and AdSense on your blog.

AdSense findings

1. AdSense looks at the future

A new blog cannot access ads at a limitation because it doesn't have what it takes. This is why no one should scare you that you can't have AdSense on a new blog.

What Google considers is that if it's able to place AdSense on new sites, it'll be very difficult for such sites to apply for another ad service when they expand.

The basic requirements for AdSense are fully covered in part 3 of the guide.

2. AdSense is a content-to-money ad company

AdSense is paid by advertisers to place ads in sites registered with it. It loses nothing by placing ads on a site with two-people-per-day traffic.

What really matters to them is whether people are clicking their ads so, they strive to get thousands of small sites such that if one click is made by each site, the result will be thousands of clicks on ads which equates to clicks from a big site.

Conclusion

Blind your eyes to traffic campaigners and concentrate on the real facts. By the end of the day, you'll sit back and look at your AdSense digits grow.

Methods used for writing into a database

1. Using rawQuery

Using rawQuery, we'll use an instance of the SQLiteDatabase class and apply our sql statement to insert data into the database.

2. Using execSQL

We use execSQL in the same way as raw query, but it only takes in one argument, the query.

db.execSQL("YOUR_QUERY");

3. Using Android methods

There are other methods like insert(....) which take in a large number of arguments. They are made by Android for those who can't frame queries. Trust me I won't waste time teaching those methods here.

The main reason is that you can't remember all the arguments at once and it wastes time checking your Android pdfs for arguments in a select() function yet you could just use a query.

The SQL "insert into" query

The syntax is simple

INSERT INTO table_name(Columns to insert into) VALUES ( values to insert )

It can also be

INSERT INTO table_name VALUES( ...)

If you are inserting into all columns.

Lets start with a simple example using a button that inserts values we hard coded in our code.

1. Inserting values in SQLite using a simple button

Here you have already prepared values to insert and the user just presses the button and they are inserted.

Here we add an edittext to our layout with an id "textg".

When the button is clicked, the program gets the value of the edittext and passes it to our query. You shouldn't forget to escape quotes for the sql to work.

Strings from a java code are not strings in sql so we use".... \""+str" \"..." As you know that backsplashes are for escaping.
