Judul diatas "Kerja Keras adalah Energi kita" merupakan motto yang kini sedang diterapkan oleh pertamina sehubungan dengan program transformasinya , ya “Kerja keras adalah energi kita” memang tidak terasa seiring berjalannya waktu pertamina kini lebih dewasa, transparant dan tentunya semakin maju, hal ini tentunya tidak didapat secara mudah perlu perjuangan serta kerja keras untuk mendapatkannya, hal ini sudah tercermin dalam kinerja pertamina saat ini.

Kinerja pertamina saat ini sudah lebih terbuka dan berkomitmen meningkatkan transformasi internal untuk menjadi perusahaan berkelas internasional . Hal ini juga tercermin dari produk-produk yang dihasilkan oleh pertamina.
Pengalaman saya mengenai produk pertamina adalah lubricant Oil Rored EPA SAE 90 dan 140 untuk pelumas roda gigi, di pabrik tempat saya bekerja (PT. Inalum) awalnya kami menggunakan produk-produk luar seperti Agip, Shell dan Mobil, akan tetapi semenjak saya masuk sebagai karyawan saya teringat akan produk pertamina (maklum orang tua pensiunan pertamina), saya merasa kenapa tidak dicoba dan diusahakan menggunakan produk pertamina karena saya yakin pasti bisa.
Saya mencoba mencari substitusi yang sesuai dengan pertamina, akhirnya saya focus pada Rored EPA SAE 90 dan 140 (karena jenis ini pemakaiannya banyak) dengan kerja keras saya nego ke pihak pemakai (user) agar mau mencoba dan mereka mau mencoba dengan menggunakan beberapa liter, kemudian saya request pengadaannya dan saya susun materi/data testingnya mulai dari tanggal pemakaian, berapa lama dan kualitas oli, akhirnya setelah lebih kurang 2 bulan dipakai, saya buat reportnya ternyata pemakaian oli pertamina bisa lebih lama dari existing dengan kondisi peralatan tetap bagus, dan dari analisa bisnis, ternyata dibanding jumlah pemakaian dan lama pemakaian harganya masih lebih murah dari existing. Akhirnya saya ajukan ke management agar dapat menggunakan produk pertamina secara continue dan akhirnya berhasil, sampai saat ini masih dipakai.
