Smartbro Speed Test Result

I can still browse decently, and the speed is still within the boundaries of my patience, but there is one thing I hate the most.

ALL PAGES LOAD FINE EXCEPT FOR ONE!! ONE WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE OF MY WORK!!

I can’t upload files to the server. I can’t log hours. I can’t even load the darn site decently. There’s not one time when I didn’t see “Page Load Error” or “Network Time Out” messages on my browser with loading JUST ONE PARTICULAR SITE.

And you know what, I’ve asked other people who are working on the same site as I do and they do not have any problems with uploading and logging their time. So my work server going cuckoo on me is not even a possible reason. Because everyone else can work except for me.

I’m about to break down. NO LOGGED HOURS = NO MONEY.

I haven’t experienced major distress with Smartbro until now. I have been a subscriber since December 2005 and I’m among those who are satisfied enough with the service. It’s only now that I really have to say something out lout because, hey, it’s affecting my job. Therefore it’s affecting my household.

I just hope this will be fixed soon enough.

Update

So there is indeed a problem with my Smartbro antenna. I downloaded their Quickfix software, ran the diagnostic test and was given an Error Code # 2a, which means there is a problem with my antenna.

I then called their hotline, *1888, using my mobile phone. And it was confirmed that my antenna is inaccessible and was given a reference number for my concer/complain. Their customer rep was, bless his soul, was polite. He told me that someone will be in touch with me after two hours of monitoring my connection, with feedback on the status of my complaint.

Well I sure hope they will call.

You know I like clean. Clean, to me, is orderly, relaxing, healthy.

My life, in some aspects, is as clean as I’d like. So far there’s no problems within the family. My nosy relatives have toned down a bit, the gossip mongers among my relatives have somewhat shut their big mouths and I really appreciate that.

But things haven’t been relaxing, at least to me, and definitely not healthy. I’ve been sick for weeks now. Since Mother’s Day I’ve been mostly sitting down or lying in bed. My lymph nodes have been swelling on and off. My weight has been going down. I have on and off fever.

So not pretty.

Then yesterday while in the bath and lathering soap on my neck, I felt a lump on my nape. Then it dawned on me that it might be the reason why I’ve been having really bad headache episodes for months now. I’ll tell my doctor soon.

Oh, the cuteness!
