The HTC One X which was announced during the Mobile World Congress 2012 is not launched yet anywhere in the world. The Taiwanese will have an extra option to buy the Deluxe Limited Edition and if it is only available in Taiwan it will be no surprise since Taiwan is the home country of HTC.

The Deluxe Limited Edition package will have the original HTC One X and includes a set of Solo Beats by Dre headphones in white which is valued at $179.95. The set is selling for 24,000 Taiwan dollars ($842) and preorders will start on March 20.

Currently there’s no word from HTC if it would make available the Deluxe Limited Edition package for other markets as well. The HTC One X is the flagship handset of the One series and specs include a 4.7 inch screen 720p resolution powered with 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera and integrates with BeatsAudio.

O2 Samsung Galaxy S II owners will be getting their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update in April as part of the worldwide roll out by Samsung to update all the Samsung Galaxy S II to the latest Android OS. Unlocked phones owners will already have access to the update while carrier subscribers such as O2 will see their update in mid April.

Other Samsung devices such as Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 will also be part of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update later so owners of these device, stay tuned as well.

To start using the PlayStation Store on the Sony Xperia S, you will need to enable non-Market applications in Settings > Applications and then run “Let’s start PS Store” in the app store. Download the two apps and you will be able to access to PS Store through the app. A Playstation network account will be required to access the PlayStation Store as well.

Sony plans to bring PS certification to all its 2012 phones and this is certainly great news for gamers.

T-Mobile has just announced that the exclusive Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G will be available in select stores on March 21st and nationwide on March 28th this year. It will be one of T-Mobile’s fastest smartphones taking advantage of the 4g (HSPA+42) technology and comes with a 3.97 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, Snapdragon S3 processor by Qualcomm, 1.5GHz dual core processor, runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 720p HD video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G will cost $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate card and a two year contract agreement.

The Sony Xperia SmartWatch is a watch that runs on Android OS and can even connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth 3.0 to show incoming call details, Facebook and Twitter updates, calendar alerts and so on. The Xperia SmartWatch do not have any internal memory and is practically just a dumb terminal with features. It can’t play music on its own since it has no storage but it can stream music from your phone.

The watch also features battery-saving technology where the screen turn when not in use, access to Android market and 1.3 inch OLED touchscreen.

Sony have officially unveiled their latest Xperia Android device, the Sony Xperia Sola which was not announced at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. The uniqueness of this phone is the floating touch technology where there is no need to touch the screen but just by hovering their finger above it. Samsung Galaxy S II owners can rejoice as Samsung Mobile had just announced on its Twitter and Facebook that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now available for update in the European countries uncluding Poland, Hungary and Sweden as well as Korea today and gradually roll out to other markets. The update is currently available only for the international spec Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) but others will follow suit soon after.

The news is not only for Galaxy S II and Samsung also mentioned that the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 will be part of the Ice Cream Sandwich update program as well. Also, Samsung promises to offer Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware upgrades for the Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab 7, Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy S SCL and Galaxy W at the end of the current month. This update includes, among others Face Unlock, Snapshot, Photo Editor and others.

Samsung also clarified that the availability and scheduling of the software update will vary by market and wireless carrier’s requirements.
