It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally spent some time to edit together a demo reel. It’s a lot of my motion graphics work from my portfolio section, crammed into a minute and fifteen seconds.

The reel consists of my work from RHED Pixel, the Department of State, & Freelance. Most of the work is done in After Effects, there’s a few Cinema 4D shots mixed in as well. Check them all out in my Portfolio.

Vector Social Media Shield Icons Update!

Animated Plexus Globe Render

Got around to trying out Plexus with a globe obj from C4D in After Effects. Just something a little different than the usual CC Sphere with a world map texture. If I have some free time, I’m eager to try the random sprites feature. Could make for some pretty cool webs!

Plexus 2 Animated OBJ Test

I’ve been playing around in Plexus 2.0 recently and finally got a chance to try the animated .obj feature. In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, I rendered it out in green! Check it out, and try not to laugh at my sound design. I did the camera work in Cinema 4D, I think I’m starting to get the hang of it.

Most I’ve used Plexus 4 are nice backgrounds, but I’m hoping to incorporate it more into future projects.

Off to Style Frames New York!

I’m off to catch the train into NYC for the STYLE FRAMES: The Art of the Pitch conference! There will be speakers from some of the world’s best design firms (The Mill, Psyop, SuperFad, Imaginery Forces, VH1.. list goes on). This will be a exciting 2 days hearing from them on their style frame pitching process. Also meeting other designers coming in from what seems like all over the world. I am looking forward to applying what I learn into my own workflow and relationship with clients. Especially working in a government environment, I’d like to push the creative boundary as far wide as possible and make some awesome projects.

I’m sure there will be a flurry of tweets while I’m at this event, so follow me on Twitter!

Preview of 3D Low Poly Icons in the Works

So these are some of the icons from my new work in progress set! They won’t be vector icons, but I’ll be rendering them out of Cinema 4D pretty large so they’ll be fairly future proof. I’m pretty much in love with the low poly look at this point. If you have a Google Nexus phone or is rocking one of the stock Android roms, then you’ll see some inspirations. That’s because in addition to releasing these on GraphicRiver, I’m hoping to release a Android theme too. In the mean time, enjoy these and I’ll post updates as I make them.
