3:18am, 4th February 2012

Our monitoring has picked up on an issue affecting some Pro 24 and Talk lines.

It appears the wholesale supplier (Talk Talk Business) have had a complete network outage. This also appears to have caused them to drop all their network prefixes from the global BGP table.

We have yet to find more information on the fault as their own website and status pages are down and this message is currently for notification only.

The "alpha" server has just rebooted. We are investigating this.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Update: It appears on boot that a memory module has failed. The machine is booting with this disabled and we will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.

Update: Server is back online and responding to requests.

BT have issued a network warning for London Faraday, which will be affecting a number of 21CN ADSL2+ and FTTC services.

This will be causing packet loss and slow throughput for affected customers.

12:03pm, 17th November 2011

Due to a locked process on one of our VPS "HV" nodes, we are having to complete an immediate reboot on this node as we are currently unable to start or migrate any virtual servers from it.

Unfortunately, we cannot hot-migrate any servers from this node due to the locked process.

The reboot should take a few minutes and the system will redistribute other servers once it is flagged as down. We will complete this at 12:30.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will correct these manually once the issues have been confirmed resolved but you may receive over usage, or warning emails in the interim.

3:43pm, 7th November 2011

We are seeing major internet instability from many transits including Tinet and Level3.

This appears to be a global issue affecting hundreds of ISPs and networks, and it has been noted that most affected networks appear to run Juniper routers.

We have made a few changes to reroute traffic but due to the amount of providers affected, reaching some sites may be impossible or slow at this time.

We would like to stress that this is affecting many providers in the UK, not just our network.

The server has stopped responding to connections and have an engineer looking in to this currently.
