With a free Google drive account you get 5GB online storage.. Google drive works on Windows, Mac, Android and soon iOS.. We’ll see if Google Drive would be able to compete with Dropbox in the long run..

Yes, just sony without Ericsson.. Its actually sounds better that way.. Here’s the wrap up of what sony presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

              Xperia S >> Xperia P >> Xperia U

Sony Xperia S

As you know i’ve been talking about this Phone for so so long since it was announced as CES.. In fact its number one on my list as the phone i’m planning to buy this 2012.. Again it shows up at MWC 2012.. This is the High end phone announced by Sony.. It comes with a Dual-core 1.5 Ghz Processor.. It’s got a 4.3 inch Display Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine with a 342 ppi pixel density which is higher than an iphone 4S!.. It’s loaded with a 12MP shooter, of course capable of 1080p HD video recording..

Sony Xperia P

On the mid range comes the Xperia P.. Again with a Dual-core 1 GHz processor, a 4 inch Reality Display with White Magic Technology and Mobile BRAVIA Engine.. It’s a got a typical 8MP rear camera capable of 1080p HD Video recording, and NFC.. It has an aluminum body and is described as perfect balance between simple and complex.. The features i like on this phone is is ability to take quick snap shots which is really quick like one second quick!..

Sony Xperia U

This is like the little Brother phone in the Xperia line.. Still it boasts a dual core processor, a 3.5 inch Reality Display with mobile BRAVIA Engine and 3D surround sound audio technology.. It has a decent 5MP shooter that can capture 720p@30fps videos.. This phone is all about personalization.. The interesting features of this phone is that the transparent strip lights up according to the phones internal theme.. Check out the video below to see what i mean..

Heres a hands on video if your interested as well:

I’m really liking the Xperia S.. How about you? Whats your favorite Xperia so far?.. Leave a comment below..

Nokia, the king of smartphones as been gone for quite sometime, but is now back to reclaim its throne..Here’s the wrap up of what Nokia presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

Nokia 808 PureView

Nokia has not been visible for a while.. Probably because they were busy cooking up this Massive 41MP Camera.. Thats right 41MP.. Amazing even for a camera.. Its even got a Xenon Flash thats even twice as strong as the Nokia N8′s xenon flash.. I like how it takes quick shots with just a click from a locked state.. The downer is that its using the long dead Symbian OS and its quite chubby.. I feel this phones just an experimental phone worth releasing.. Plus it gives the spotlight to Nokia for while.. Did i mention its a phone too..

Preview

Hands-on:

Nokia Lumia 610

This is a low end entry of Nokia.. Its the most affordable WindowsPhone yet.. It designed for young people or those who are on a budget but are itching to try out the new WP7.. Its got most if not all the bells and whistles of the new WP7..

Preview:

I have a feeling nokia will rise again.. What do think?..

SAMSUNG

Samsung has been flooding us with Galaxy Devices.. At mobile world congress, more Galaxy’s were unveiled.. However this one is kind of interesting.. Here’s the wrap up of what Samsung presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

Samsung Galaxy Beam

This is one interesting phone.. Its got a standard 1 Ghz Dual Core processor, a typical 4 inch screen, average 5MP camera.. Everything is pretty standard.. However whats interesting is that its got a built in projector!.. Plus its not that fat!.. In fact it looks and feels like an average android smart phone.. This is one step forward samsung..

hands on:

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Its basically a Galaxy Tab with a stylus and some galaxy note apps.. One cool function it has though is the multi-screen functionality.. That lets you watch a movie, surf the web, and take notes all at the same time.. Check out the video below..

What are your thoughts on these devices?.. You think Projector phones will be useful?.. Let us know.. Leave a comment below..

HTC

Ever heard of the HTC One Series.. If you havent yet, well get ready.. Here’s the wrap up of what HTC presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

HTC One X

Have you heard of dual core phones?.. How bout Quad cores?.. This is the first Quad core phone by HTC.. It got a huge 4.7 inch screen.. however, the attention on this phone is mostly focused on the camera.. Its got an 8MP camera with the continuous shooting feature and a quick shutter that can take shots in less than a second.. The ability to take snapshots while recording HD video and its got Beats audio.. Quietly Brilliant.. But nothing really that new for a flagship device..

Preview:

HTC One S

For the mid range entry of HTC we’ve got the HTC ONE S.. Pretty much got most of HTC One X features such the 8MP camera with quick shutter speeds and stuff except its just a dual core and the screen is sized at 4.3 which is still rather huge in my opinion..

Preview:

HTC One V

Another step lower is the entry level HTC ONE V.. Even though its the low end device of HTC ONE Line, it still manages to have a lot of its elder brothers features.. Only this time its a 1-Ghz single core processor with a 3.7 inch screen and 5Mp cam.. The ram has been lowered to 512mb as well.. Still, its not bad.. Its got the Beats audio too if thats your thing..

Preview:

When you thought the ASUS Transformer was a cool hybrid device.. Here comes ASUS with more innovations.. Here’s the wrap up of what ASUS presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

Asus PadPhone

Asus PadPhone is a addition to the Transformer Line Up.. Imagine having a phone that you can dock to a tablet that you can dock as a netbook.. Plus its got that stylus like the Galaxy Note.. But its not just a stylus.. The stylus is also a wireless bluetooth headset as well.. If you ask me.. its a little bit over kill.. I don’t like the thought of having too much accessories for my device either.. But then some may want this kind of solution.. Check out the hands on below and decide for yourself..

hands on:

More cores, and more 3d form LG.. Here’s the wrap up of what LG presented at this Mobile World Congress this month..

LG Optimus 4X HD

Just by the name we can tell, its got a Quad Core processor which seems to be the next trend in mobile processors.. It comes with 4.7 inch display which LG says its better than AMOLED display.. Its got a standard 8MP Cam, and thats pretty much about it..

Hands on:

LG Optimus 3D MAX

Again as the name suggests it a Glasses Free 3D Display phone.. Its loaded with a Dual-Core processor and a respectable 4.3 inches screen.. It doesn’t really step up that much from their last 3D phone however i do like that its got a little thinner than the previous one..

Hands on:

Do you think LG’s going the right way this Quad cores and 3D phones?..

Most of us do have internet connections at home..

Most of us do have internet connections at home.. Majority of us have tons and tons of music tracks all stored on our computers, which usually occupies gigs of data on our drives.. But seriously, do you even listen to all those songs?.. You probably have a number of songs which you really do listen to, say about a hundred or maybe two hundred.. How about the other 8000+ songs just stored on your PC occupying all those precious bytes?.. Thats right, The way to free all those memory is to transfer them to the cloud!..

Head over to http://music.google.com to activate your account..

Once activated, click the Upload Music and download the Music Manager App

The music Manager will upload all your songs or certain playlist’s depending on your preference.. The upload will take a while, maybe even days or weeks depending on your internet speed..

Once done, you could simply access, stream or download your songs by going to http://music.google.com. You dont have to store all your songs on your PC anymore!.. Just store those which you play often..

Heres another treat: There’s an android app for google music which could stream all your music from google music.. It also gives you the option to download specific songs to your phone for the times when you dont have internet connection

One little advice.. Try to fix all the meta tags of your songs before uploading to Google Music because its hard to edit them once their uploaded..

And btw, you could only upload up to 20,000 songs.. Thats should be enough right?.. is it?..

Those are common lines you’d see.. Usually they really are free.. However when it comes to quality of service, its Viber, for the win.. Why?..

Quality is even better than regular calls

Multi-platform.. It works on iphones or androids (Blackberry and WP7 soon!)

Simple to use

Easy to setup

Integrates seamlessly with your existing contacts, no need for user name and stuff

Always on!

100% FREE! and it has no ads at all..

I’ve tried lots and lots and lots of mobile apps that offer free call and messages, from fring to Yahoo messenger, to google talk to skype and lots more, however i found viber the best among them.. It integrates on the phone very well.. Viber is very handy to me since, i usually call someone almost half way around the world.. Now, as long as my phone is online, either via 3G or wifi, i can call for free.. It simply amazing.. Give it a try..
