Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 – June 25, 2009) was an American actress. A multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, Fawcett rose to international fame when she first appeared as private investigator Jill Munroe in the TV series Charlie’s Angels in 1976. Fawcett later appeared off-Broadway to the approval of critics and in highly rated television movies in roles often challenging (The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Margaret Bourke-White) and sometimes unsympathetic (Small Sacrifices). Fawcett was also a pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women and whose poster sales broke records, making her an international sex symbol in the 1970s and 1980s. While her impact was particularly strong on the teens of the 1970s, her appeal spreads over multiple generations.

Edward Leo Peter “Ed” McMahon, Jr. (March 6, 1923 – June 23, 2009) was a decorated war veteran, an American comedian, game show host, announcer, and television personality. Most famous for his work on television as Johnny Carson’s announcer and sidekick on The Tonight Show from 1962-1992, he was also host of the original version of the talent show Star Search from 1983-95, co-host with Dick Clark of TV’s Bloopers and Practical Jokes from 1982-86, and became well-known as the presenter of the now-defunct American Family Publishers sweepstakes (not, as is commonly believed, its main rival Publishers Clearing House).

Look whose back from their hiatus! It’s Mr. Jon Anderson! He also made an appearance on y2cl radio episode 14! I’m glad he is back in the swing of things,when he left he sort of left these characters in a position where I couldn’t really do anything with them.

Rest assured today, Wednesday and Friday you will receive new y2cl/z2c comics from Jon Anderson, and possibly those days next week as well! This will be nice to let me have a chance to work on the art for the rest of the King of Pop story line.

William Darrell “Billy” Mays, Jr. (July 20, 1958 – June 28, 2009) was an American television direct-response advertisement salesperson most notable for promoting OxiClean, Orange Glo, and other cleaning, home-based, and maintenance products. His distinctive beard and loud sales pitches made him a recognized television presence in the United States.

I’ll post one a day until they run out then move them all to the gallery.

Does this mean everyone male who likes to shot guns is in some way gay because they use a phallic symbol, stroke it’s shaft, pull it’s “trigger” to make it “shoot a bullet” from is rigged shaft with the ultimate goal of “hitting a target” to give them the ultimate “thrill”?

Well Noel also did one for Cock ‘N Bull (anther amazing comic) that was posted on July 2nd, obviously before I posted this one. But I still claim Noel Curry’s guest strip cherry, as I was the first to ask him and the first to get one in my inbox. Just a little slow on posting.

That’s right, I got Michael from Starship Moonhawk to do a guest comic for me! That’s how awesome I am. A guy who claims he doesn’t DO guest comics, and would you look at this right here, he did one for me.

Why did he do one for me? Well that’s because I’m awesome (read persistent) and bugged him until he gave in.

As per tradition when someone does an Inanimate Guest Comics I write up a little review about their comic. I first encountered Starship Moonhawk a little over a year ago when I was a member of COTM with Michael. I started loosely following the series, and it’s sidebar projects, ever since.

Now I’m not a Moonhawkian expert by any means, just a casual observer, BUT I can tell you that you won’t find a series out there quite like this one. Where else do you get a series that has rebooted (I think) 4 times? That has such a rich back story and history set into it? And all for free on the internet? You can’t.

The bottom line is if you like Sci-Fi, cat girls, and a good story check out Starship Moonhawk.

Ok, so I sort of felt bad for Michael Jackson being in y2cl, and how I was planning on treating him and then BAM! He dies. Below is the ORIGINAL script for what this comic SHOULD have been. Instead I made a tribute to all the celebrities that have dies this year. Yes I know I only did potraits of 7 or the many, but I picked 7 celebrities that I liked. I did miss Andy Hallet (Lorne from Angel) who I wish I would of had time to do a portrait of. I might do one and put it up on my art site, jhorsley3.com. All these portraits will be there, with their own background and such. Possibly in wallpaper format if you want to grab one. Just give me credit for the art.

It should be noted that the day in which I completed this comic and posted it on the site Michael Jackson was reported dead and Ferrah Fawcett was confirmed dead. The King of Pop and the Queen of Girly Posters in the same day. Not to mention McMahan and Danny Gans.

What’s unfortunate is their deaths are held as this great thing. What about all the other people who passed away? Where is their twitter tribute? Their editorial cartoons? Their 1 hour special on ABC?

Was that tooo sentimental for you? Not in the key of this web-site? Meh, it happens!

I wonder if I will get a tribute when I pass…(gas)
